"Calmont will have to wait unfortunately. From what Warbal told us before the call, her people have been flying a distress signal for several days now."  "Yes! Yes! My people!" Interrupted the goblin. "They must be in danger! They must be saved!" "Yes, they will be aided." Reassured Greta. "The Call for Heroes is just as if not more important than catching Calmont. It is a town tradition that is as vital to our town as the hall that has burned down.  That said, if you happen to spot Calmont there will be a reward for bringing him back to town for a trial."

"Well then what can you tell us about this task and what we need to accomplish? We're outsiders here so we'll need a little bit of direction. Should we wait to get the details until we meet you at the gaurdhouse later? I know I need to get cleaned up a bit after all this mess," Riven said looking at his soot covered form with a grimace.

pringerbeam

"I'll leave that up to miss Warbal.  For now, I'll meet you at the guardhouse in a few hours time after we've gotten the situation with the town hall dealt with. I suggest you take the time to prepare for miss Warbal's request."  Replied the council president before turning back to the firefighting efforts.  Seeing her cue, the goblin clapped her hands together and looked at you all.  "Yes! Heroes! I am Warbal Bumblebrasher! Ambassador of the Bumblebrasher Tribe! I live in the town and work in the archives but my tribe lives on Hellknight Hill. They live in the old fort, the Hellknight fort. Several days ago I saw smoke coming from the fort and not just any smoke. It was red! That means the Bumblebrashers are in trouble! So you should go and save them! Like heroes!"

Oath

Belsarus looks the goblin up and down. He wasn't used to seeing them in town, it was much more common to find them on the other end of his blade. "Nice to meet ya, Warbal." He extends his hand for a handshake. "Do ya know what could be troubling them? I don't want to rush into danger unprepared, and i'm sure my new found companions wouldn't want to either."

pringerbeam

"No!" Exclaimed the goblin with a surprisingly excited smile. "It could be anything! Lots of things live in the castle now but usually they don't bother the Bumblebrashers." The goblin screwed up her face in something akin to  a pensive look. "No one really goes up there these days since all the shiny things have all been looted for lots of years. I haven't been back for a while so maybe something new?"

Mysticsage

"Then we'll have to go check it out then, can you point us to this old hell knight fort? I don't know the area that well. Honestly, with everything going on when we get to the guardhouse we should probably also ask for a guide. Considering all the trouble you all are having I want my hands free of any blame if things are going sideways. I'm an outsider and I don't need to be seen as trouble," Riven says with a grimace.

pringerbeam

"Of course! It's easy! Just take the East gate and the north fork in the road to go up the hill. Everyone in town knows the way! You could get anyone for a guide, even me!" She says exuberantly.

Mysticsage

"Thank you for the offer miss Warbal," Riven says with a chuckle, "but I think you have more than enough trouble to not risk your neck with everything going on. We should be able to get a recommendation from someone at the guardhouse for someone who can fight and that we don't have to worry if they get scratched up a bit."

"I hope you understand but having our employer lead us into possible danger doesn't inspire much confidence in our ablities."

pringerbeam

"Warb- I understand. It's scary in the fort! That's why I left!" Replied the goblin, looking somewhat relieved at the idea of not having to venture to the fort.

Mysticsage

"What do you mean it's dangerous in the fort?" Riven said as he caught her relief.

pringerbeam

"Because of the monsters of course! The dragons aren't too bad but most of the other monsters are mean and don't like it when you try to use their room. I just wanted to find a book! That's why I came here! Lots of books and people only scream at you if you take their stuff and don't give it back."

Mysticsage

"Got ya-" he says making a mental note to ask around the guardhouse about the monsters in the area if the fort was that dangerous. This Miss Warbal while good meaning did not seem the best about the pertinent details.

Looking at the others with a nod he said, "Well, should we find this guardhouse as a group or do the rest of you have some shopping and other stuff to do? I'm as good as I'm gonna get, but I could use a little healing for burns. I have some money left over from my travels I would be happy to help pay for a medical kit. "

Asta

"I need to leave some things at my room in the inn, as well as get some medical attention. I will meet the rest of you at the guardhouse."

Throndir

"Wait, wait, everyone." Melody said. "Sarenrae can heal our wounds. Just stay a moment." Melody suggested.

Once everyone was near, she began to utter her prayer.

Mysticsage

"Much appreciated Melody," Riven said as he marveled as he felt the weight from the smoke leaving his chest. However, even with the aid of her golden light he still felt a fair bit of pain.

"I still think we should buy a medical kit if only to avoid putting to much strain on our small priestess, I wouldn't want her to pass out from the effort in combat," He said with his attempt at a kind smile.

"I'll look for a market before going to the guardhouse, but I imagine I'll need a little bit of extra coin to get what we need."
