Oath

Jing looks around, everyone he sees has been shot enough that they shouldn't be moving anymore. "I'm gonna check below deck. Maybe someone's hiding down there. With that, he works his way to the hatch, trying to stay low and out of sight of the spirit, though it seemed distracted.

Trying to get below deck, and being sneaky about it.

You approach the engine compartment hatch in the cabin and open it to find the two workers cowering in the cramped space.  They raise their hands the second they see you and one of them yells,  the words spilling from the worker's mouth in a nervous rush.  "Don't shoot!  We surrender or whatever!   We just don't want to die so whatever you want just take it!"

Feel free to respond however but keep in mind you're still in combat and depending on how long your response is will dictate how many turns you spend on this task.

Oath

Jing looks the two over, unsure of if they're telling the trooth. He squints at them through his mask.

"What?  Mage?  That was Samuel, the guy that was next to the squad leader.  I don't know where he is.  I just ran for it when you guys got on the boat.  I don't even even know if he survived that crazy bitch jumping him."

Oath

"Yeah, sorry chummer, I don't buy it." Jing raises his pistol and shoots the man talking.

The bullet passes right through the worker, spraying blood everywhere and spattering the remaining worker.  The shot worker falls to the floor not moving and blood pours from his chest wound.  "Shit!  He was telling the truth!  There was just Samuel!  I don't know anything else!  Please don't kill me!"

Oath

Jing shrugs and shoots the other worker as well. Then sends a message to his team. "make sure that first guy is really dead, these guys down here seem to insist that he's the mage."

Again the spirit swings its claws, and again it misses its mark.

Valkyrie's turn

Asta

"Hey man, I'm afraid I don't. Could probably get you some later though since you stopped that guy from shooting me. At the moment I need to deal with that." Valkyrie replied to bob, after she finished spraying the demon with ineffectual 'suppressive fire'. "Could'a sworn I killed the mage earlier..." As if to punctuate her frustration she aimed her SMG at the downed elf on the prow that she had cut down earlier and squeezed off a burst into the body.

The bullets riddle the motionless body, small spatterings of blood kicked up by the impacts.  The spirit remains.
