     The spirit's claws harmlessly graze Zephyr's spirit and the spirit exudes anger.  Meanwhile, the guard and Bob continue to wrestle on the deck of the ship in a din of grunts and the muffled sounds of the guard trying to yell at Bob through the inside-out jacket, barely keeping Bob at bay by pressing a hand into Bob's face while Bob yells at him, still trying to remove the jacket.  "Be cool man.  just be cool.  C'mon be cool."

Jing got eager. He went out of the cabin and set his sights on the guard bob had wrestled to the ground. "oy crackhead watch your head!" jing fired a shot at the guard on the ground.

     The shot hits the guard easily in his exposed chest and exits out his back in a pink cloud of blood.  The guard stops struggling and Bob manages to pull the jacket off of the limp body.  "Hey!  Check it!  New threads.  I bet I can sell this for a rock."  Meanwhile, the spirit above continues it's assault on what appears to Joe and Valkyrie to be an invisible foe, swinging with its other claw in a wide arc, trying to catch Zephyr's spirit.

     The swipe misses its mark and the spirit crackles with anger.

Why the fuck is that thing still here? Valkyrie asked, having witnessed every guard on the boat dispatched in some form or another. She took a quick glance at the elf by her feet to see if he was still breathing, one of these guys had to be the mage that conjured up the demon and they clearly weren't dead yet. She would fix that.

After her quick once-over, Valkyrie ran around to the far side of the wheelhouse from the demon drew her SMG from the holster in her leg and tried to lay down suppressing fire.

     Despite the hail of bullets flying through the air around the spirit, it appears to continue to swing at an unseen foe, paying little attention the the mundane threat.  You're pretty sure you saw several bullets burst into small showers of sparks off the spirit's skin to which it made no notice.

     The astral attack misses the spirit, failing to connect while Bob walks up to Valkyirie.  "Hey big girl."  He asks as she focuses on shooting at the spirit.  "I don'tsuppose you have some novacoke on hand?  I could really use the upper."
