Playable Races

[Emperor Wilbers]

There are three playable races in The Rift. They are as follows:

Man
The men of Sythrilia are strong with their axe, but not so much with their head.  Ability Bonuses: +2 Str, -2 Mindpower, +1 Faith, +1 Con. 10% resistance to Pierce, Blunt, and Slash attacks. 6% more susceptible to Fire, Acid, Cold, Lightning, and Posion attacks

Elf
The golden skinned, fair haired people of Elyria favor intelligence over strength. They are especially skilled in magic, but are susceptible to physical attacks. Ability Bonuses: -2 Str, +1 Dex, +2 Mindpower, +1 Con. 6% resistant to Fire, Acid, Cold, Lightning, and Poison attacks. 10% more susceptible to Pierce, Blunt, and Slash attacks.

Orc
The tough, green skinned skin people of the Rift. The Orcs are a sub-race of the Elves and the Men. As a result, there resistances and weaknesses obsolete so it is not susceptible to anything, but they are also not extra resistant to anything. Ability Bonuses: +2 Str, -2 Mindpower, 2 Con
