As Ryine's sword came crashing down upon the large spider's head, it made a sickening crunching sound as the blade went through the creature's head. The spider trembled as it's front legs clawed at its face in a pitiful attempt to perhaps stop the wound. In mere moments the creature laid sprawled on the ground, twitching, dying, though it was still not completely dead.

Ludar cursed as his foot was stuck tightly in a crevice filled with what appeared to be webbing, He struck at the sticky stuff with his mace but it barely moved, if at all. The dwarf sighed, it was suppose to be s simple clear the dungeon mission. Normally he wouldn't think twice about entering such a place but now he was thinking that perhaps thinking twice would have been a great if not grand idea. He thought of his wife and his two sons, what would happen to them if their father did not return. No he could not be trapped here and die not like this "By Helm's Ring, I'm not becoming spider food today".

That was when he heard it, sound of weapons, screaming, like a banshee enraged. It wasn't far from him, perhaps if he yelled 'HELP!! I'M STUCK!", that was the best he could do? So much for his academy training.

Saendal watched Ryine slash down into the spider's head and gutting it. It continued to twitch on the ground and was not dead. Max went over to it and licked one of it's legs. "Max, stay with me," and with that command Max jovially trotted over to Saendal's side and would not leave until further command. He looked up at the rest of his comrades and was pleased to see that no injuries were taken. Except for the spider that is. "Who, would like to have the honor of sending, this abhorrent creature, back to whence it came?" Saendal looked at each one of them and waited for a response.

I suddenly heard a yell from behind me. I turned around quickly and spotted a dwarf with his foot stuck, and started toward him with the attention of setting him free, but after a moment i remembered that dwarves hated goblins. I stopped where i was, sat down, and decided to brainstorm. I could free him from his predicament, but what if he attacked me while my back was turned? I could just leave him there, but then my companions would think lesser of me and might even turn on me themselves. That's when it hit me! Jorn didn't hesitate to help me up, despite me being a goblin. Maybe i should place the same trust in the rest of them, like they did with me. Realizing that I had sat on a pile of bones i sprang to me feet and then continued toward the unlucky dwarf. I cast jelly flavor turning the web the flavor of raspberry jelly and proceed to eat it. It was sticky, and hard to swallow... I'm gonna have a stomachache in the morning.

Oath

"Well, I do not see why I can't finish the job" I say as I raise my sword for a finishing blow.

Dropping your sword at it's head, the spider twitched once, but finally stopped moving. The green blood from the creature poured slowly from the wounds making a small puddle around where the spider lay dead.

Emperor Wilbers

Saendal watched the spider die with pleasure. His eyes feasted on the sight. He craved for more. For blood. His attraction to death, and blood was not of malicious intent. He just, has changed ever since he ventured into those ancient ruins. He snapped his head to the left and shut his eyes, blocking the sight of the dead creature. He took control of himself and opened his eyes again. "Now, we should be moving on. Good work," he said as he walked over to the door which blocked their path. He hesitated, then stepped forth and pulled on the handle of the door.

Normally Ludar would have not asked any questions while simply lending to dispatching the goblin with due haste, but then the strangest thing happened. The cleric sat stunned in silence as the webbing suddenly turned into what appeared to be some sort of jelly. If that was all that had taken place he would have just shrugged and thought nothing of it, but then the strange goblinoid proceeded to eat the webbing. It stared at him as it chewed, Ludar gave a nervous smile, while staring perplexingly at its ridiculous hat.

"Er, hello.. there...little...fellow..."

Manzokushi

The chaos of the last few minutes finally began to subside and it appeared as if everyone was finally catching up to the front of the party. These were both good signs that perhaps they would finally pull together through this ordeal. ?I would strongly suggest we wait for the others to gather here in the room. The once all are within we can proceed, perhaps using this room as a foot hold. Since we all know that it is now safe.? The smell of ichor from the spider cavity was certainly in the air, but hey there are worse things one could have to stomach. Jorn took account of what was still at his disposal and with a silent nod felt more in control of the situation.

Emperor Wilbers

Saendal agreed with waiting for the rest and took his hand off the handle of the door, so as to wait for the others to catch up. Saendal made an educated guess that the clumsy little goblinoid creature was slowing us down. But it was mostly just a hunch.

Oath

I decide to sit with my back against the wall a bit closer to the door. While I did not suffer any physical injuries during the battle, I was still a bit shaken from the wailing. "That was a good job back there, good to see everyone come out unscathed."

Spoiler
I move to be 5 feet north of the door on the west side.
