Download, extract, place that exe file into the main directory where you placed AoE II. (You shouldn't have to replace anything).

When you start a game in aoe2 you have to turn off explorer.exe if you're running win7. Most people will probably tell you to dont do it, but it is still the only way. To turn off explorer.exe you just startup task manager and kill the process. When you quit the game you have to start it up again by going in to task manager and do file -> new task and type in explorer.exe and click enter.

Dude, you have to start the game BEFORE you turn off explorer. You alt+tab out of the game and then you turn off explorer.exe
After you've done that you alt+tab into game again.

The Conquerors needed a crack to work.

Age Of Empires 2 v2.1 - The Conquerors crack by FHCF worked for me

Running on Win 7 64bits the color problem was solved by turning off explorer.exe AFTER you run the game

Although it doesn't seem to have any background music, it's a good torrent.

OK guys,their are apparently a few possible probs(but not with the game).
The first thing to do is get your video drivers updated to the latest(very important)
The DIRECTX and PHYSX must be installed,or you get the D9X... or PHX.....error(they are included in the download as self-titled folders)or get them from MS and NVIDIA's websites.
Extract ALL folders from the RAR archive(DO NOT TRY TO RUN THE GAME FROM INSIDE THE RAR ARCHIVE).
Once the files have been extracted and updates done,open the BINARIES FOLDER and run BORDERLANDS.EXE.
The game should run perfectly,if not there are user issues...
Also,DO NOT mess with any DLC folders you may see...They are already installed and tested 100%(played thru complete)When the DLC verifications come up when the game is first run,just click OK as they will not pop up again.
The online feature works fine.
If there are any video probs,,,try dropping the resolution.
Do Not Run Any Other Programs While Extracting(very important).
This works on XP,Vista and 7(MAKE SURE TO HAVE TE LATEST UPDATES AND SERVICE PACKS)
The game is also the latest version made,so no need to try and update(version 1.4)
