A searing pain assaulted you, as you realized it was acid burning through your hair, skin, and damaging your armor. A short distance away, about 30 ft. looked to be an insectoid creature. Almost like a giant cocroach, through its mandibles dripped in green acid.

Initiative requested.

Allen, call out if you're wearing light armor, and if you are, ensure you have the money to buy something to wear it and update your sheet (people don't sleep in medium or heavy armor usually).

Ciara screamed as she was hit with the acid and raised the shield just in time to stop the bug's attack. "Allen, we're under attack!" She will then attempt to strike hard and true with her longsword.
