Appearance
Rei is a young woman of Far Eastern descent, the pseudo-Japan of Danmachi. Barely old enough to be considered an adult in the lands, she stands at 5'6" and weighs a modest 120lbs. She has fairly pale but healthy skin, due to most of her time spent inside studying stories about monsters instead of playing outside in the sunshine. She has long raven black hair, that reaches easily to her waist. Her eye color is that of a light brown, inquisitive and always curious to things around her. Her regular clothing is that of her heritage, often kimono of various colors. When dungeoning however, she prefers to wear darker clothing and more form-fitting for movement and stealth.

Personality
Ever the curious girl. Rei prefer to spend her time observing others or studying books, rather than interacting with people. She secretly likes stories about heroes and monsters, but only because of the monsters. She finds them fascinating and dazzling-s o much so, that as a child, she grew up with her love for monsters becoming an obsession. She is typically cheerful but reserved around other humans. She talks when necessary or has something to say. If monsters are involved however, she opens up more and is far more happy and cheerful.

Biography
Being of a Far Eastern descent, Rei's parents traveled the lands and eventually settled in Thalia Village. Rei's mother had a brother which traveled the world before them and suggested Thalia Village to the couple. This is where they started their family of three, bearing a single daughter and naming her Rei Momochi. Proud of their family heritage, they instilled their heritage into their daughter at a young age. Not wishing to see their ways and customs end in these new lands.

Rei was raised as a young lady with respect and proper boundaries, yet it was her Uncle Yugiro who influenced her the most. As a Ranger, he often came to visit his sister and her family. Each time he would visit, he would bring wonderful and sometimes frightening stories with him. These stories were mostly about his days and experience as a Ranger, hunting monsters and the likes. On several occasions, he would bring small books back for Rei so she could read the stories herself. It was from these interactions with her uncle that the girl took a strange liking to the monsters in the stories and not the heroes.

Ideals Rei wishes to get stronger and explore all of the levels in the dungeon to find lots of monsters to befriend.

Bonds Rei has small family ties in her hometown, Thalia Village. Her mother and father and their goddess, Thalia. In addition to these, she also has her Uncle Yugiro, a traveling Ranger who visits from time to time.

Flaws Rei hates killing beasts, even if she sees the importance or necessity in it. She dislikes those who gloat or brag about what kind of monsters they've slain. She can become quite obstinate and rude to these kinds of people.
