Grey had already begun to get Lightning bridled with his wagon and various supplies he  would need for the trip. This expedition was his bread and butter that and hunting large game is where he got a majority of his materials for his goods. He was largely already packed his gear sitting next o him as he poured over a map of the desert. Realizing that a horse would most likely would do him little to no good it meant that he would likely have to rent a camel to get there.

"Well I can't say its unexpected~" he mumbled while finishing drawing his course of arrival and making his final check. He was prepared for almost any occurrence that much he was confident about. He would make sure to leave there with a full bag of holding and a packed down animal no matter what history threw at him.

Roxy rolls around and scratches her head, finally remembering that she had some knowledge about nature stuck in there from ages past. She was a druid after all. She just had to tickle herself for a bit until it fell out somewhere useful, that's all~

To make it easier in narrative, assume the characters in this all know that they're all going together. I'll resolve knowledge checks and actions once Markus and Frikki post theirs.

Upon hearing the description of the newly discovered pyramid Markus immediately made haste back to his residence.

"I know, I know, Charles." Markus commented to his companion while hurriedly cramming his loose belongings into his bag, "We're going to miss a few of our scheduled performances but our dear fans are just going to have to wait!"

Charles turns and skitters inside of Markus' pack.

"Haha and don't worry old friend, I'll keep you safe from all those troublesome birds outside of the city!" Markus chuckled as he threw the pack across his shoulders and reached for his crossbow.

"Now there had to be someone local who has mentioned a quick method of traveling to this far land..."

"At any rate, here's to more coin and better performance! We're off!" As Markus shuts the door to his residense and makes his way down the street

Frikki scurries back and forth hurriedly, wailing nonsensical gibberish. He watches everyone preparing calmly and goes even further into hysterics.

"Smart! No! Not having the things in the head, no nonono. Not Frikki. Edge-cated? No. No no no no-"

Eventually he wears himself out and plops to his back on the floor. Moments pass while the dusty little cogs in his ratman brain creak and turn. He jolts up with intention to speak, but realizes he has nothing to say and throws himself back down with a dissatisfied grunt.

Pulling out a map, you plotted the best way to get do the country of Shadar. You knew it would take 10 days on a sea-worthy vessel to take a ship from Ternadan out to Shadar. Ternadan was the busiest trade city in all of Korithinia after all, it wouldn't be hard to find someone who can offer the trip. Going over-land will prove more difficult however, and longer as well. By your estimation a trip over land would take at least a month, and probably more.

Just by conventional non-magical means, a ship would be the best route to take.

Grey receives this map, feel free to ask me any geographical detail, or if I need to explain something better on the map.

Roxanne
As you thought about a means of travel to get to Shadar, simply walking would take months, but you knew that there were woodland creatures and fey who used the very nature themselves to quickly move from one place to another. You knew that there were some fey who could quickly move through trees, and others who can summon the very earth itself to move them great distances. There was a so-called enchanted forest only a day's journey from Ternadan where you knew fey, specifically nymphs, to exist. It may take some persuasion, but they would at least have the means to travel.

Markus
The moment you began thinking of ways to travel. The first thing that came to your mind was by ship. Skirting along the coast of the Aldian Ocean to head to Shadar would be a much quicker route than by horse overland. You recall seeing that the price for a 10-day journey hovered at around 10,000 gold pieces. Likewise for a 20-day journey on a keel-boat, it would be 3,000 gold pieces. However, you knew that magical means was by far the fastest mode of transportation. Prices usually vary considerably from wizard-to-wizard, but you knew they would be around 3,000 gold pieces by your estimation.

Apart from that, you knew there was the floating city, Topaz Downs, which, even though had its home in Korinthia, and was considered to be a Korinthian city, traveled the world. It just so happened that the city will be passing near Ternadan early tomorrow morning, and you knew it would head southwards towards Kyl'Marn, and eventually Shadar. You never knew the floating city to travel at any great speeds however, so you surmised travel by wizard, though expensive, would certainly be better.

Frikki
Unlike the others who took a few moments to think of ways to get to Shadar, you couldn't quite grasp the best means to do so. The best way to get to things is by simply going. But getting there fast? Run faster?

Everyone
You prepared for your journey as best as you can. Taking whatever you needed, as well as packing your luggage. You packed light, after all, it wasn't certain what mode of travel was best. Your other guild members who were interested in coming with you had their own ideas, and it was simply a matter of deciding which option to take. At the guild hall, on one of the many tables near the entrance, Markus, Roxanne, Frikki, and Garret prepared.

In terms of in character, assume Grey has the map out. Everyone decide on what course of action you guys will take. You can do it in character, or outside on the shoutbox to speed things up more.

Also, everyone buy your adventuring gear that you need if you haven't. If its cheap enough its free (less then 25 gp). Just add them to your inventory.

Frikki bonks his paw against his head in an attempt to beat the smartness into use. He barely knows the others and wants to avoid looking like an idiot or being useless in front of possible new friends.

"Think think think think think THIIIIINK! AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!"

He slumps over clutching his head.

Thinking harder about the conundrum seemed to have done the trick, and you remembered seeing a robed man just a few days ago in the market advertising 'travelling' services. No one had any other clear contacts so far, so that would at least be an option. Unfortunately you couldn't remember how much the services cost, but you can still remember what he looked like and what he wore. Right now was the busiest part of the day at the trade markets, so you surmised that he would still be there if you wanted to see him.

Mysticsage

Grey packs away the map trying to think if he had any other traveling merchant contacts that might get him to shadar faster and perhaps with a cheaper price if he promised to bring some things back for them.

Most of the travelling traders that you knew who did actual trading used their own caravans or wagons. However, their speed wasn't entirely remarkable due to the fact that they were usually heavy laden with goods. You knew of some small-time seafarers who owned their own ships, though in varying sizes. Among the captains you knew however, there was only one that was currently docked. Captain Snark was a small-time cargo shipper, he dealt primarily with shipping lanes to and from Ternadan, though you knew for a fact that he was hard-pressed on money.

If this route is chosen, I can send you information about Captain Snark that your character would know.

@Everyone, decide amongst yourselves on what to do, in character or otherwise.

"Nyuh, too slow! We should gooo... that way~!"

Roxy scurries over to the other side of the map, brandishing her set of watercolor paints. Ignoring all cries of protest, she begins marking the map, illustrating a rather complicated (and colorful) new path. Of course, to her dismay, she stepped back and realized that she had used the wrong colors. Green had been used on forests. Blue had been used on rivers. She even marked in the place names with a finer brush. All her additions were simply painting the exact same color over the old one...

Roxanne
You managed to portray your thoughts exactly. The song you created on the spot was enough to rival a skilled bard's masterpiece. The words flowed rhythmically to the next and the meter was spot on and only added to the piece. Everyone on the table knew exactly what you were singing about as you tried to convince them of the soundness of your plan.

You managed to pull the map away in time, but not before Roxanne managed to scribble some of her paint in a big blotch on 'Shadar'. No further damage was done though, and the paint could probably be cleaned off.
