It looks like overcoming DR doesn't overcome immunities. As it is right now, even if those attacks hit, they'll do no damage. You'll need to use up an animus point to change you attacks to fire. I forget if there's any cost or requirement to doing that, you can check though and modify this turns action, I'll resolve it then.

already spent the Anima point maintaining element costs nothing to make all damage fire does not change damage or require extra actions.

Here's the excerpt:

Whenever
she initiates a maneuver that deals damage, she may
spend one point of animus as part of its initiation action
to change all damage the maneuver deals to her active
element's associated energy type.

Reading that it looks like you still need to pay an animus point to change the damage of the maneuver. Also it looks like you'll have to use Swift Claws, as Flurry of Blows is not a maneuver, and it seems that only affects maneuvers?

So for this turn, Serena will do:

Swift Action: Bronze Knuckles
As part of Bronze Knuckles, activate Elemental Attunement to spend 1 Animus point to change all damage from this maneuver to fire.
Standard Action: Swift Claws
As part of Swift Claws, activate Elemental Attunement to spend 1 Animus point to change all damage from this maneuver to fire.

Expenditure: 2 Animus Points

Is that correct?

Hey So I want to keep going and this seems like the perfect means to test serena and learn the mystic lol so that i can look back for the next time it opens up so here is a few things to hash out

We were not sure if animus affects normal attacks but the enhance Maneuver ability seems to make it seem to since it can affect skill checks and CMB Checks.

• Enhance Maneuver: For each point of animus spent, the mystic adds a cumulative +2 insight bonus to all d20 rolls made (including attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, and skill checks)

So i think that they use the word maneuver broadly and would allow me to make any atttack fire based like i could add a +2 using this skill, but if we want to limit that kind of stuff to POW specific manuvers I'm totally cool with that just give me a heads up.


As a note as well swift class and bronze knuckles should marked  as used with dimension strike


Serena continued her brutal assault that seemed to be more a dance recital then an actual combat. The flames breathing up her fists and arms flared,  mingling with each breath with her gossamer aura, which like moonlight hung around her shoulders like a robe. With each attempt to retaliate she danced around whipping like a tornado with each turn using the momentum from her would be prayer dance to empower her following strikes. This thing might be able to take some punishment, but it was her who was yet to truely break a sweat.
