Serena reeled back ready to slam into the hydra. When her necklace which was going wild seemed to snap on its own only instead of scattering to the floor the beads speed off and circle the monster. As if in this kind of spiritual barrier her fist glowed and with a twinkling light show she slammed into the creature. She connected with a resounding crack her hair whipping around her wildly. Music seemed to be alive in the air. "You have messed with the wrong woman today!" she screamed in force as her blow made final contact and she watched the monsters aura shutter.

Serena pushes ahead undaunted and will not use a refresh

An hour later as the arena was cleared up and you ushered back in, on the other side of the arena was a large creature of some sort. From your point of view, it looked like some sort of pile of flesh and blubber. It looked rotting, though you couldn't quite decide if it was undead or not. The most prominent feature of this rotting blob of flesh was a large and gaping maw filled with sharp teeth. There was a much larger crowd than even last match, and though it wasn't quite as full as during the time the Tournaments ran, it was getting there.

Serena looked at all those teeth and shuddered in result not to mention the smell was revolting. She wondered how many people could sit in the stands. But as it stood she was on a roll and would not be stopped any time soon. Regardless of what faced her she clacked her palms together creating a clear note. There were ways of clearing people's mind then simply the nose. Kryas had shown her clearly the powers of sound.

Serena looked at the thing with its stinking flesh and quickly racked her memory for any mention of undead that were in a similar state of decay. All the while she falls into her usual defensive stance and settled her stomach getting ready for what was to come next before rushing in

As you tried to recall through your memories and remembering what you know of the undead, you do remember hearing that there were some creatures, though seemingly undead, were not quite so. You don't remember this particular creature before you as being any of the undead creatures you've learned of.

As you moved forward, the creature too rushed forward at you. But unlike you, who kept the pace cautious, the large flesh-maw creature moved at full speed. You knew you would still have time for an action of some sort before it closed the distance, but as it continued to close the gap, you started to keenly smell a distinct and horrible odor.

Serena feeling the spinning sickness hit her did her best to bite the bile down as her fists came alight with flame hoping to burn the stench away. As she hit the thing with her now burning fists.
