Oath

QuoteFor Letina only, another can join if Ella allows them to do so.

Following the Swablu, you end up on a hillside forest. After a short trek into the deeper areas, you see the Swablu. They're perched in trees, watching you cautiously on your approach.

'Fluffy.' The only word she could think of at that moment. All of that hiking through the hilly forest had tired Letina out and those Swablu she had been following looked oh-so-fluffy. How she wanted to just grab one, snuggle up with it, and take a nap. But that was a dangerous thing to do in the forest. Instead, she would have to do what she had gone there to do. Catch some Pokémon.

'Perhaps they will be more friendly if the see another bird-type Pokémon...' With that idea in mind, the girl sent out Blaise. He could not fly, but he was still a bird. "Do you wanna have a picnic here, Blaise?" She asked him. Perhaps food would lure some birds down. Without waiting for his response, Letina pulled a blanket out of her bag and laid it out for them to sit on while they ate lunch. As she set up their little meal, she hummed a little. She could not remember all the lyrics, but it was something about fluffy, fluffy times. If she did sing any lyrics, she would just add in her own words to make it be about the Swablu. They probably liked that kind of stuff.

Letina calls out Blaise and tries to lure the Swablu down to her level.

Oath

Two of the Swablu were intrigued by this strange girl and her Torchic. They swooped down from the tree, and landed on the ground several feet away from the blanket, watching the girl cautiously

Smiling that her plan had worked, Letina pulled a few small chunks of bread from her sandwich. After giving Blaise the larger chunk of the pieces, she tossed the crumbs towards the two birds, but not to far away. The idea was to lure them in with food, not let them be complacent with where they stood.

The two Swablu slowly hop their way over, examining the surroundings before carefully pecking at the crumbs that had been placed before them. Then started to eat them more quickly. They cooed happily as they gobbled up the breadcrumbs.

"There's more if you want to join us." Letina called to the two Swablu, indicating the food in front of herself and Blaise.

"Its okay if you don't want to. Blaise and I will just eat our food here." She was not going to keep on just tossing them food. She would either wait them out until the decided to come closer or finish up her lunch with Blaise and then try to catch them the way most people did.

"Do you like your food, Blaise?" She asked, turning her attention to the Torchic. He seemed to ignore her and continue eating. Of course, he knew what she was up to. He was just waiting for a battle. Letina was not the type to just give up if charm attempts failed.

Oath

The Swablu stood still, blinking as they watched the girl and the Torchic eat. They were being cautious and didn't want to get too close, but were still interested enough to avoid flying away. Perhaps they hoped that the girl would throw some more food their way, and didn't want to miss out if that was the case.
