Blackbeard

Appearance
Standing tall with broad shoulders, the first thing that is immediately noticeable is the long and scraggly beard the man wore. It was heavy and thick, but the most distinct feature of it were the tendrils of rope or hair-like material dangling from under his hat, curling outward with a point of flame on each end. Smoke rose mesmerisingly, and a plume of smoke was easily clouding right above his head. His face looked deathly pale, and his eyes haggard with a sullen expression. His skin too was pale, and with his darker-shaded clothing, at times his skin easily blended with the rest of his clothing and dark hair.

His outfit is that of a sea captain of old. But instead of the brighter and pastel colors associated, his clothing was a shades of brown, grey, and dirtied black. He wore a curved cutlass to his side and pistols lined up his shoulder, though whether or not if it was for use or just show it was harder to tell. At the very least the man looked comfortable wielding the weapons. His clothing had a distinct tattered look; though the cloth seemed in disrepair there was still a certain sense of majesty to them.

Queen Anne's Revenge
Blackbeard's ship looms over smaller vessels. The ship's mast and sails look tattered, yet they still seem to catch air even in windless nights. Parts of the ship look missing, as various planks are missing on the sides, with numerous amounts of damage and wear on the wooden vessel. A ghostly pale purple aura surrounds the ship, swirling in mystical energies.

An array of cannons lined both sides of the ship, the ancient devices still operational and seemingly powered by whatever continues to keep the ship afloat.

It was his flag ship, and even though the damage on the vessel looked heavy, there was still a certain solidity in its design and state.

Personality
As often as he could, he would spread tales of his deeds, accomplishments, and ensure that the people who had met up with him had a lasting impression. He would try to strike fear into those that knew him, of a pirate scourge of the seas, doing anything he could for treasure. He claimed to be a demon, and it was a legend that he continued to inspire through his deeds. As a servant he retained much of those aspects of his personality, imposing his intimidation to those around him.

Biography
In life Blackbeard grew notoriety as a fearsome pirate in the Caribbeans and occasionally the eastern coasts of the US. He was finally killed after 5 gunshot wounds and 20 strikes with the sword. Legend has it that his headless body remained swimming three times around his ship before finally sinking. Though he wasn't the most successful of pirates, he became one of the most well-known, and even now continues to seek treasure.
