DM requested, cannot be Ella, Throndir, or TheChugsBoson. Roll at least 5+ Torchic using the generator here.

First time helping Pokemon Wishlist will be +1 Trainer exp for GM. Otherwise, it will be some other small reward. Wishlist starting prompt below.

You had seen a Torchic above the cliffside, it was a hard climb, but it looked doable.

Ella

Miera Fieren

The girl eyed the cliff, looking for all the possible foot and hand holds before starting her climb. She noticed two others who also seemed to notice the Pok?mon above and try climbing the cliff. She narrowed her eyes at them before turning her attention back to the task at hand. It was not difficult for a ninja to scale a wall such as this. In training, they had to scale walls with far less foot and hand holds in them. Her goal was to reach the top before the others, giving her more time to catch one before the others arrived. Of course, she would catch as many as she could and then sell or trade the ones that were not good enough for her team.

Fellow Rabbit

Vinny Drechsler

Hours had passed since Vinny ventured into the wild to collect berries. Indeed he had found some, though he hadn't a clue how to identify them. For him, it was all about the thrill of the search. He really didn't care at all what kind of berries he found as long as he had accumulated plenty of scratches on his arms to prove that he had done it. To him, that meant he fought for it; they were battle scars. The bushes were the enemy, and the berries were the reward. No doubt he would be hailed as a hero when he returned to town to show his friends the spoils of war.

He had trekked deep into the bushy territory, taking blows from every bush he tried to loot, but carrying on nonetheless. No leafy fiend would stop him from his goals! As he moved on and on, collecting as much as he could collect, the silhouette of a cliff began to come into view. It was then that he knew his perilous battle against the bushes was nearing an end. Or rather, a halfway point. Of course, the journey back again would go much quicker since he intended to take the same route he had already taken to get where he was and therefor all the bushes would have already been looted. The most difficult part had perhaps been completed.

Finally, he reached the edge of the bushy area and stepped into the grassy area between the cliffs and the foliage behind him. He was proud to have collected many berries of virtually every color of the rainbow. It would undoubtedly be a delight to return home and spend hours upon hours trying to identify what he had found. All that was between him and that goal now was tall grass and bushes through which he had just traversed ? merely a trifle for a man so skilled at survival as he.

He took a step forward, but stopped in his tracks when he heard some bushes rustling above him. He turned back to face the cliff, carefully examining what could be seen from his point of view. This wasn't a great deal, of course, since much of the land at the top of the cliffs was obscured by the cliff itself, but from what he could see, the noise might have been something of interest. So much so, in fact, that he had already decided to add this little tangent to his quest in progress.

By this time, however, the rustling in the bushes had already ceased. A few pebbles and loose dirt seemed to fall off the edge of the cliff, forcing Vinny to jump out of the way or risk letting it fall on him and get his hair all dirty, which at this point in the quest he just couldn't have. The leaves and twigs already sticking out of his head were one thing, but dirt was another story entirely. The cliff above him soon grew silent, but Vinny was still sure he was interested in what had started the noise. He kept a gaze upward at the edge for a moment, squinting for a clearer view, until finally he saw something. Something... orange?!

Vinny couldn't believe his eyes! It was a Magikarp! It had to be! Somehow a Magikarp had transcended the need for an aquatic environment and now was at the top of this here cliff! What a find! He gasped in amazement, but wasted no time in lurching forward and grasping at the cliff before, climbing as swiftly as he possibly could to the top, putting as much effort as he could spare into reaching the summit in time to intercept the Pok?mon before it could get away. In all his years in Magikarp training, he hadn't discovered a single one that could live above land, which meant only one thing: This Magikarp was shiny.  There was no way he was about to let this one get away; he had to capture it! And nothing would stand in his way. Not today. Not ever.

Fayleen

There was definitely a Torchic up there! She had seen it earlier, and in her travels she had yet to encounter that particular Pok?mon in the wild. The juggler grinned as she began climbing the cliff-side. She imagined what her sister would think when she would bring back a Torchic. Nena had always been fond of anything cute and small, so she definitely would love to see it. Fayleen had been gone for a few weeks already, and though they keep in touch through mail or calls, it was always better to see Nena in person.

Placing another foot on the cliff, and grasping a protruding rock did she continue her climb.

All three of you climb up the cliffside as fast as you can, reaching the top only a little winded. After getting your bearings, you look around note a couple things. One, there are two others with similar expressions that have reached the top, and all three of think you were there first. Two, there was not only one Torchic, but FOUR scattered amongst the sparse grass and rocky ground that made up the clifftop. They all looked quizzically at you, wondering why you'd rushed up here. One of them had almost immediately turned back to eat its berries, while the other 3 stepped forward curiously.

"You're here for the Torchic too I take it?" Fayleen said as she kept her eye on the Pok?mon. "Well... there are enough..." She quickly examined the other two trainers with her. One was a female with long hair and steely eyes, while the other was a male with orange-colored hair and eyes. She didn't know them, that at least was to be expected, but she did note that they both seemed to be of a similar age as her.

"Come help me out Queen!" Fayleen beckoned as she tossed Queen's Pok? Ball at the farthest Torchic.

Miera eyed the other two trainers, upset that they had all arrived at the same time. She chose not to answer the girl when she spoke, instead turning to examine the Torchic. They would make excellent quick attacking Pok?mon. When they evolved, they would make perfect sparring partners. The Pok?mon were curious or did not care that humans were there, which was both a good and a bad thing. She would not have to compete with the other two trainers in tracking the Pok?mon down should they also be as proficient with speed as herself. On the other hand, it was no good because it gave her no opportunity to separate one or two for herself. And then the girl decided to call her Pok?mon by throwing its ball towards the farthest Torchic. She obviously had the intent of keeping them all from bolting away. Weren't Torchic fire-type Pok?mon, though? Her Nidoran would get burned easily if any of these Torchic knew any actual fire-type moves. Well, Miera would play it safe for now.

"Vesper, lets get you a sparring buddy!" Miera exclaimed, calling out her Espurr so that he was nearby. She did not wish to summon him too close to one of the Torchic for fear that it would bolt off. "Use confusion on the nearest one!" She hoped it would fall prey to the confusion and actually become confused. That way, it would be much easier to capture.

Instead, the bird jumped past the Espurr, tumbling a short You could see it reel in shock, and thought it a perfect opportunity, but even though that the Torchic managed to sidestep your throw. It was obvious that the Torchic was on its last legs, however; it seemed the psychic burst did plenty to the fire bird. The ball is still intact, but must be retrieved.

Fellow Rabbit

Vinny Drechsler

The climb was only a little bit more difficult than Vinny thought it would be, but due to his brilliant climbing finesse, he reached the top of the cliff in a jiffy. There before him was perhaps the most awesome sight he had ever beheld. His suspicions were correct; there was indeed a shiny Magikarp at the top of these cliffs. But there was more. So much more, in fact, that he was almost overwhelmed by the sheer immensity of the situation. His new vantage point from the top of cliff allowed him a closer look at the magnificent creatures. These Magikarp were the most special things he had ever seen in his life. They had chicken legs! And a beak! And some cool crest of feathers atop their heads! Their colors remained largely the same however. One of the most striking features was that instead of scales, these mysterious Magikarp forms were adorned with feathers! The thought that they might even have the ability to fly crossed his mind several times. Oh, but that wasn't even the best part. For as he reached the top of the cliff and climbed up upon the ledge, he found that there wasn't just one magical shiny deformed Magikarp at the top, but four! This was undeniably the luckiest day of his life.

For a split second, he stood frozen in shock and awe at the amazing sight before him, but he very soon found that he was not alone, for it appeared that not one, but two other trainers had also caught a glimpse of these creatures from afar. They were after his precious findings! This he could not have. They were much more apt to engage the Pok?mon and managed to jump into battle before Vinny even had time to think. But things were about to change. They hadn't seen anything until they had seen Vinny's incredible signature battle technique. Yes, this was it. It was time to unleash his might. He only hoped they had the capacity to behold it without hurting themselves.

"Kimmel," he began, sounding uncharacteristically calm, then quickly gaining volume and vigor as he went on, "It is time!" He threw his only occupied Pok? Ball quite dramatically into the ground before him. It merely rolled for a moment, but then released a great beam of bright red light, revealing one of the most glorious Pok?mon in all the world: Kimmel the Magikarp.

He would have liked to take a moment to just bask in his Pok?mon's scintillating majesty, but he knew that he unfortunately hadn't a second to lose if he wanted his share in this rare find. He ran to his Magikarp with great haste, grabbed it by the tail fins, and spun around with the giant fish in his hands to gain momentum. With great rotational velocity, he sent a blow of Giga-Impact proportions into the nearest shiny Magikarp he could see. Then, without missing a single beat, he freed one hand from Kimmel's tail, reached into his pocket to retrieve a Pok? Ball, and tossed it with all his might at the Pok?mon he had just attacked. He was sure to make it clear to anyone nearby that he wasn't just playing around. These wild Magikarp were shiny and he was not about to let this opportunity to catch them pass him by. He would never be able to forgive himself if he didn't partake in the prize of this tumultuous quest.

Roll ALL the dice!

Your aim, with Kimmel, struck true, though just barely. Surprisingly enough, the "shiny Magikarp" took the blow in stride. But before it could right itself for a counter attack, your pokeball came flying toward it, striking into its small torso. The "Magikarp" was brought into the ball, which promptly fell to the ground an wobbled momentarily. Then finally, it rested; the pokemon was caught.

Those nearby were witness to the sight of a man slapping a Torchic with a Magikarp, bringing about all sorts of feelings you didn't know how to describe. This whole situation was especially impactful for the remaining Torchic. It was completely panicked, and thus began running back into the brush behind it.

The Torchic next to Vesper, however, had not given up just yet, and redoubled its effort, attacking with another scratch. It lands on the Espurr's left side, causing Vesper to spin a little.

You lost sight of the escaping Torchic, but you could tell Vesper had not, which had you a little relieved. It allowed you to focus of the one before you. At this point it was confused when the Espurr before it disengaged after taking a hit, but it's confusion ended at the impact of your pokeball. While you waited for the Torchic to be caught, you took a look toward Vesper, who seemed to be content, meaning he'd gotten his target. Fayleen

When Fayleen's Pok? Ball sped straight towards the Torchic capturing it, she inwardly celebrated. The other trainers too exploded into action, one commanding her Espurr to attack, while the other threw his Magikarp. She stopped as she watched the Magikarp sail through the air hitting its target.

"What in the world are you doing?" Fayleen asked surprised that any trainer would so brutally throw their own Pok?mon at a target. She couldn't help but feel sorry for Magikarp. If indeed this particular trainer had made it a habit to throw his Pok?mon as an 'attack', then surely this poor little Magikarp has felt so much worse from the continuous beatings its trainer would inflict.

The girl shivered as she watched the man. She knew what they were called, the trainers who abused their Pok?mon: lashers.
