Kin comes up beside Branwen, and for the first time in a while without antagonizing her. He's aware that now is not the time to fool around, and that this time stealth was important. He wanted to try spotting the beasts if possible, but the smoke prevented it. It frustrated him, and he wanted to just charge in, but he didn't know how many there were, and he couldn't handle more than one if he was ambushed.

As the moments lingered by and the smoke poured forth making things hard to see, the party was still able to make out Branwen's motioning towards the alleyway to the east. Yet, it felt like there were eyes watching them even now. It was hard to tell what to give more attention to, the alleyway to the east or the main road to the south where the sounds of fighting still rang.
