Please also look at Missed Turns

Due to the fact players an become inactive and not post for awhile, initiative will be changed.

Definitions
A round is a set of turns. A round is completed when everyone, including enemies, have taken their turns.
A turn is when a player takes his/her turn. A turn is not just simple talking or any Free Actions. More details on free actions, standard actions, full actions, and turns can be found here: <Currently writing post>

Originally
Originally, initiative is to decide the order that players take their turns. The higher the number, the earlier they can take their turn.

The change
Now, the initiative, is the player's initiative of posting. Meaning the faster you post, the earlier you can take your turn.

Problems addressed
You may think that this can lead into a situation where a player is taking turns non stop; eg, a player takes his turn, then takes it again, skipping everyone else who hasn't posted yet. The remedy for this is that when a player takes his turn again, this automatically "refreshes" enemies, therefore they can move again. An example:

Player 1 Posts his turn.
Player 2 Posts.
Player 3 Posts.
Enemies take their turns.
Player 1 Posts his turn.
Enemies take their turns.
Player 1 Posts again.
Enemies take their turns again.
Player 2 and Player 3 are now angry at Player 1 for skipping their turns.

The order of the players and enemies is still some-what decided with initiative. So I will likely still ask players to roll for initiative (or secretly roll initiative for everyone) just to figure out when enemies take their turns in relation to the players. Players can decide whether or not to respect their companions' initiative rolls.

Conclusion
So, you may choose to keep taking turns, but keep in mind the difficulty of the fight. Basically and to sum it, if the fight is easy keep posting, if the fight is hard and you think you can get the inactives to post, wait or try to convince them. It is also courtesy to give a chance to everyone.
