Cecilia stands in the chaos around her focused on her magics, casting mage armor on herself.

     Thedrin channeled a portion of his power into healing himself before swinging at the hobgoblin with a counterattack aimed at slicing across the humanoid's thigh. "Now, while I have them distracted!" He said to Rhenri as he sidestepped to give her a better shot.

The hobgoblin grunts in pain as Thedrin's sword splatters blood in an arc along the ground. Nearby, the militiaman thrusts hard with his spear, catching the hobgoblin full in the gut, producing a gout of deep crimson.

Sliding out of cover, the lone goblin by the rock fires off an arrow in Cecilia's direction. The arrow manages to pierce through the magical barrier erected around her and pierces flesh. The second hobgoblin meanwhile, retaliates against the militia fighter but cannot break the man's defenses.

Murderous Insight Reference
Murderous Insight (Su):

The stalker designates his combat senses towards ending the lives of his opponents and gains momentary flashes of insight in how to best accomplish this. By spending one point of ki as a swift action, the stalker makes an attack and rolls twice for that attack and uses the better of the two results due to the stalker's precognitive abilities. This art has a duration of 1 + the stalker's Wisdom modifier in rounds.

Rhenri's arrow slams into the side of the hobgoblin's neck, nearly finishing the creature off. However, it manages to hold on to the last thread of life and continues fighting. Another volley of arrows cut through the air from the pair of goblins behind the other rock, aimed at Thedrin and Scathach. Scathach manages to avoid taking a hit, but With Thedrin distracted in his fight with the hobgoblin, the arrow manages to hit. Scathach, seizing the chance to land a killing blow moves to find a better angle on the nearly dead hobgoblin and fires off a shot that brings him to the ground.

Cecilia's acid dart catches the goblin in the face sending him to the ground unconscious and disfigured. Thedrin's slash missed the hobgoblin's neck, but caught the creature in the chest leaving a gaping wound.

With two less combatants on the field, the militia fighter makes a play to raise that number to three. Circling to the side of the hobgoblin engaged with Thedrin he makes a thrust with his spear, impaling his target with a fatal blow. An arrow from the goblin meant to avenge his comrade plinks harmlessly off the fighter's shield.

The goblin avoids Rhenri's shot, ducking out of the way in time to prevent taking a lethal blow. Meanwhile the goblin on the other side of the field launches its own projectile at the militia fighter, missing as well. Scathach too takes aim at the same goblin as Rhenri, however her shot is wide and the creature remains unscathed.
