Mysticsage

Seeing the creatures move towards them and feeling their hostile intent even at a distance Riven rushes to meet those closest to the group and snarl at them. His jaw extends as he goes to take a chomp out of these unknown foes.

     Riven's jaws easily crunch through the creature's flesh, taking a sizeable chink out of the creature's torso and causing it to topple over. The creature appears to be a dried out husk, devoid of most bodily fluids, and the tumors appear to be writhing vines running throughout the creature's torso.

Jo'Davan walks cautiously to the right 25 feet. (Action 1) He then takes 2 squares (10 Feet) up and then 10 feet to the right (Action 2)

     Jo'Daven's first attack misses but their follow up attack tears into the dried flesh of the creature. The vines within the creature burst forth through the torn hole and lash about.

Spira drew a bead on the still living creature nearest Riven with her crossbow, fired, fitted a second bolt and then fired again.

     Spira's volley of bolts misses the mark as the creature by luck manages to sway out of the way of the bolts. Helba rides forth from the rear of the party on the back of her goblin dog, somehow managing not to get bucked by its erratic scrabbling as it bounds down the road. She draws a bead on the most distant of the creatures and lets loose an pair of arrows from her shortbow. The two arrows thud into the creature and it keels over onto the dirt no longer moving.

Seeing everyone explode into action, Melody rushed up with the rest, chanting a prayer in a clear voice as she did so.

"Miss Dawnflower, please redeem those with your divine energy!" Melody said pointing towards one of the afflicted humans.

Action 1: Stride, 20 ft. east.
Action 2-3: Cast a Spell, Divine Lance, Good, on Creature 1

Oath

Belsarus circles around the final creature putting it between him and Riven to allow for an easy flank if needed. He lunges at the creature with his short sword, hoping to strike true.

Using 2 move actions to circle around creature 3 and attacking with my short sword.

     Belsarus's swing goes wide as the creature turns and lunges unexpectedly at the halfling. It's grasping hands get a painful grip and vines pierce through the creature's flesh with a puff of golden dust. The vines try to whip at the halfling but despite being restrained and at such range, the blows fail to land.
