     The thrall Belsarus sneaks up on unexpectedly shifts to, by pure chance, avoid the incoming blow. The followup beam from Melody however blasts the thrall, practically cutting it in half. The other thralls turn away from the giant plant and stare at you.

Moving quickly into range, Spira pulls her second (and last) red vial from the bandolier across her chest before winding back and pitching it at the monstrous flower. As the container sailed through the air she readied her small crossbow to continue the offensive.

     The flask sails through the air but Spira's timing must have been off as the flask explodes in the air, too early to cause maximal damage. The cloud of embers still seems to have had some effect as a rattling rasp of slithering vines emits from the giant plant.

Mysticsage

Seeing the giant plant creatures and the thralls Riven will do his best to stalk forward while the others attack  as he prepares to rush forward in the next moment.

Riven moves
Rages
and attempts to take cover next to something near by if he can.

     Jo'Davan dashes ahead to try and take down one of the nearer thralls with flurry of blows but none manage to connect as the thralls begin to turn their attention towards your group. Helba, starts to ride out towards the flanks of the enemies and lets loose an arrow at one of the thralls on the periphery, scoring a hit that thuds into the thrall's torso which causes tendrils to burst forth from the wound.

Jo'Davan Strides 2x and Flurry of Blows vs Thrall, 3 missing 2x

Helba Commands her mount, hunts Thrall 4, and damages with Shortbow

Thrall 4 gains Limb Extension

     The giant plant, still aflame, begins to shuffle and writhe in some semblance of limited movement to get close enough to Belsaurs and Jo'Davan to whip out with its vines. It thrusts a powerful blow into Jo'Davan, managing to draw blood with one tendril while another thrusts into Belsarus. The thralls, begin to shamble towards you in defense of the plant and begin their assault. In the thrall's shambling charge, Spira and Jo'Davan both find themselves caught in the grasping hands of a thrall.

"Shit!" Spira cursed, struggling against the grip of the thrall that grabbed her.

Belsarus winces with pain as the plant makes contact with his flesh. Despite the pain he manages to avoid the shambling thrall before him and strikes back with a barrage of strikes.

"Be careful mister Daven!" Melody worriedly called out as she uttered a prayer, shooting off another lance of divine energy, this time towards the thrall closing up on Helba.

     Belsarus's onslaught finds success as he lands a pair of attacks, decapitating the thrall with his final attack. Meanwhile, Melody's ray manages to blast one of the legs off the thrall engaged with Helba before it had a chance to attack the goblin.

Riven roars attempting to get the plant's and the thrall's attention as he does his best to rip into the leafy nature of the creature to try and pull the attacks from his companions.

     Riven's bites into the creature seeming to only tear at its tough fibrous exterior, and doesn't appear to have done any damage to the plant itself.

     Jo'Davan circles around the thrall before him to try and unleash a series of attacks against the giant plant and the thrall. While not all their strikes hit, they do manage to deal some damage to both their targets. Helba, seeing the flankiong opportunity, urges her mount forward to attack the thrall in front of her  while letting loose an arrow at the plant. Her arrow finds its mark but doesn't appear to have done much to the giant plant. Scruff seems to do much better and tears the leg off the thrall with a snap of its jaws.

     The plant seems to swell for a second before letting loose a cloud of golden pollen out of its main flower that blasts Belsarus in the face. The plant then whips at Riven with one of its tendrils and drives a pointed tip into the half-orc's flesh. The flames wreathing the plant continue to burn. The final remaining thrall turns to render aid to its plant in the form of charging the nearest foe, in this case Riven, and flails at him with its arms but can't land a serious blow.
