"Don't worry Mister Lumberjack, we'll solve your problem!"

Recall Knowledge
You can't recall any knowledge about a golden flower that the lumberjack might be referring to.

Asta

"At any rate, we should go before we lose more daylight." Spira said trying to spot the position of the sun through the trees.

Looking to the quickly dimming sky, it would appear that even at your quickest pace you will likely be facing nightfall before you get too far from the camp.

The current light level is Dim Light but is transitioning to Darkness. Those without Darkvision or a similar ability will face penalties without a light source.

pringerbeam

"Yes, let's go!" Says Helba enthusiastically before your party sets out. It doesn't take long before the dim light of dusk turns to the darkness of a forest at night with the moonlight blocked by the canopy. Even those of you with keen eyes accustomed to dimmer lighting find it hard to see particularly well. Helba appears to have no problems seeing in the darkness but seeing the rest of you struggle, halts the group. "Maybe we should light a torch?"

Throndir

"Don't worry guys, Ms. Dawnflower has our back!" Melody proclaimed as she began to pray and cast light on her scimitar.

Your way illuminated, you traverse the woods through the dark until Helba signals you to stop, seeing something off in the gloom. "There! Big flower." There in the darkness, you can somewhat make out the outline of a giant bulbous plant topped with yellow petals. Ringed around it stand several uncannily still thralls.

The plant and its thralls have not yet noticed your party

CANTRIP
EVOCATION
Traditions divine
Cast somatic, verbal
Range 30 feet; Targets 1 creature
You unleash a beam of divine energy. Choose an alignment your deity has (chaotic, evil, good, or lawful). You can't cast this spell if you don't have a deity or if your deity is true neutral. Make a ranged spell attack roll against the target's AC. On a hit, the target takes damage of the chosen alignment type equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier (double damage on a critical hit). The spell gains the trait of the alignment you chose.
