The thralls slain, the lumberjacks at the lodge raised their makeshift weapons overhead. "Hey! You there! Boy are we glad to see you! Please tell me you're here to save us!" Shouts one of the lumberjacks as they wave you over.

Asta

Spira stowed her rapier away before turning to the group of lumberjacks. "I suppose we are. We were sent to investigate the issues that seem to be plaguing this lumber camp. I take it, it has been the doing of these... plant zombies?"

pringerbeam

"Aye, it was that damned golden flower Bert wouldn't shut up about! I told him that old battleground was cursed but he didn't listen. He said we could probably sell that flower to some rich cityfolk and look what it got him and everyone that went with him. Turned to zombies!" The lumberjack waved his axe poignantly. "I'm guessing Narine sent you. Thank the Drunken God. Did you burn that damned flower too?"

Asta

"Not yet. Though I expect we shall be doing so shortly. Where is this flower located?"

pringerbeam

"Just north of here, less than an hour away. Looked like an old battleground from the Goblinblood wars." Replied the lumberjack. "Whatever that thing is, you best be careful. Far as I can tell, everyone that went with Bert was turned. Then they came and carried off whoever they could. Only a handful of us left here now. I think you got maybe half of them just now."
