QuoteBecause the Regenerating Kit is still experimental, you can either choose using that kit, use up a healer's kit (with the rules you provided before some months ago), or using your Cure Minor Wounds spell. I'll just post all three. I'm still up for modifications on that Regen kit. Using it more lets us see if it works well enough, so I hope you guys don't mind.

Once you see this again, tell me which one you want to go for. Also if there should be modifications on the Regenerating Kit mechanic and/or the Skill-Based healing mechanic.

Uthaal - Regenerating Kit
Working quickly and carefully you apply the volatile liquid at various places on the blood mage's hands and arms were most of his wounds were. You pull out some herbs as well as a healer's kit in order to help stabilize the liquid and proceed to work.

[blockquote]1d20 + Heal skill (+7) + Regenerating Kit Modifier (+0) + Herbs modifier (+2) + Healer's kit (+5) - 20 1d20-6 : 6 - 6, total 0[/blockquote]
[blockquote]Number of herbs lost 1d4 : 4, total 4[/blockquote]
QuoteHealing from Regenerative kit cannot exceed 10
Used up 10 charges of Healing Kit

Uthaal - Skill-based Healing Healer's Kit
You help mend the blood mage's wounds.

[blockquote]Heal check 1d20+7 : 4 + 7, total 11[/blockquote]
QuoteUsed up 10 charges of Healing Kit

Uthaal - Cure Minor Wounds
Casting the spell, you're able to heal some of Viran's wounds.

QuoteViran healed by 1.

Throndir

QuoteWell, the Regen kit didn't work. Healed 0 hit points.
The skill-based healing failed the DC. I'm thinking 10 charges is too much. Would love input on the Skill-based healing page.
So Cure Minor Wounds it is.

Although Din's bite had hit its target. The large and burly orc simply swatted it away with no apparent damage done.

Haru felt the wounds and the familiar pain they returned to his body. But this was not the time to feel the pain, now was the time for action.

Haru turns and squares off with the Orc warrior, the monk steps into an open dragon stance. With reflexes honed over years of training, his hands move with lighting grace attempting to strike his chest, knifing each blow attempting to break his rib cage.

Quote[1d20+3] 13 = 13 + 3 = 16, [1d20+3] 14 = 14 + 3 = 17

QuoteDamage for first strike: [1d6+5] 5 = 5 + 5 = 10, Second [1d6+5] 5 = 5 + 5 = 10

Throndir

QuoteWas confused over Monk's flurry of blows, anyways, going to change the modifier to +2. Also updated your character sheet in order to correctly reflect the modifier for flurry of blows.

Flurry of Blows (Ex): When unarmored, a monk may strike with
a flurry of blows at the expense of accuracy. When doing so, she may
make one extra attack in a round at her highest base attack bonus,
but this attack takes a ?2 penalty, as does each other attack made that
round. The resulting modified base attack bonuses are shown in the
Flurry of Blows Attack Bonus column on Table 3?10: The Monk.
This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of
opportunity the monk might make before her next action. When a
monk reaches 5th level, the penalty lessens to ?1, and at 9th level it
disappears. A monk must use a full attack action (see page 143) to
strike with a flurry of blows.

And also here's an example that clarified it a bit for me.

Haru
With your fluid movements you manage to hit the orc in front of you. Both strikes hitting the large creature's chest. Unfortunately however, the blow wasn't enough to bring the monster down. It seemed to only infuriate the warrior even more.

Seeing the orc warden bring down the large axe on her companion, Ardeth started moving into action. She knew the orc had to be brought down, and quickly. Rushing beside Haru she stabbed straight ahead. Hoping to bring down the large orc.

Eyeing his foe dangerously, Arian attacks, though, playing it defensively as he proceeds to slowly step backwards. He made a quick glance at Ardeth adjacent to him, and the dark elf noted the presence of Uthaal's snake companion. Should the orc charge on ahead, he hoped those two would find their openings.

QuotePlaced a limit on bloodspikes:

A spear of blood emerges from the caster's arm, dealing high damage at the cost of the caster's hitpoints. Multiple Blood Spikes in a short time do increased damage but cost more hitpoints (stacks). The number of spikes you can cast is equal to your caster level. Max 5 spikes.

I'm only counting one additional bloodspike.

Viran
The orc was downed, and though the blood spike hit the cultist as well, the man was still standing. You however, did not fare so well. You felt your wounds painfully.
