The next hour goes by with the group patching themselves up while travelling. Luckily you didn't run into anything. Both you, Lai Fen, and Filiane felt better, though were still injured. Lai Ju and Eris both said their injuries were still bad. Filiane was able to map out this section of the area as well.

Crystal man? Fred thought to himself in surprise. The creatures so far have been crystal and terrifying, but none have been humanoid...is it sentient?

"My first thought it to try talking to it if it's not aggressive. Are we able to fight in the worst case? How does everyone feel?" Fred prodded his allies for a response.

[info]I'm gonna try talking to it! Because I think Fred would.

I plan to have Fred approach, maybe within like 40 feet, with the rest of the group readying ranged attacks. The moment he seems aggressive, the group will attack.

Just describing my intent ahead of time. Of course, if the rest of the group thinks this is a horrible idea, Fred will defer to the majority vote. He doesn't really know anything about this world, so his opinion about something like this weighs less than theirs.[/info]

With no sunlight to gauge the time of day, Fred ended up sleeping in, not rolling out of bed until 7am. However, he woke with a keen mind, and knew exactly what he wanted to learn. Fred rolled out of bed, getting dressed and quickly making his way to Shuren at the tree. There was training to do.

The exploration made me realize that I have no way to defend myself. I need to learn a way to survive, not just kill foes.

[info]Fred is going to seek to learn AC Bonus and Evasion from the Monk Pathfinder class. If that's ok. Shuren looks like he'd have monk abilities, so here's hoping. :P

Also will ask if Shuren thinks there are any abilities he thinks Fred should learn.

The rest of the day is planned to be training. First finishing spear training, then doing Evasion (if it's an option). If not Evasion, then Ki Projection.
