Location: New World - Wind Temple of Velothia
Date: Day 6 - 6 AM -> 10 PM

You managed to successfully learn how to use Sense and Use Ki. You were able to bring it out of that stream you sense inside you, but you had no applicable techniques to try it on yet. You trained with the spear as well, and you made good progress, but didn't yet fully learn it.

As for training in blood magicka, you weren't able to train yourself much through it.

"Tomorrow... We finally land on Mt. Velothia."

Jean looked up from the book and over at Dalina.  "I guess I lost track of the days.  What can you tell me about the place?  Who lives there and why did you choose to land there?"

Throndir

Before climbing to the top of the bunk bed, Dalina instead chose to sit beside you.

"Mt. Velothia is the ancestral home of the Velothian dragons. The mountain itself is named after our world, probably because of the fact that the dragons that live there have been protectors of mankind for hundreds of years. At least, as far back as any of our records tell us."

"Us, the Wind Temple Priests, don't generally mingle well with the land-dwellers, though, the dragons themselves have always been supportive. It's said that the dragons act like the messenger of the 6 goddesses as a whole, rather than for each individual one. They also provide us goods every year we land. I'm sure there's more to it, but it's the Keeper of the Temple that knows all of that. She and her priests are the ones that determine where we land, and move our temple."

pringerbeam

"So then the dragons are from the same world as your people?  What are they like?"

Throndir

"They're grand and majestic!" Dalina said, awe in her voice. "They've been reduced in number since the war started, and when we do land there, it will only be the elder along with the younger dragons left. Many of the older ones are fighting with their knights on the front lines."

"But the Elder, the oldest living dragon, is kind and gentle."

pringerbeam

"I see...  They seem like powerful allies.  What kinds of resources do they have?"

Throndir

"Most of their resources they have are likely from the nation they are most allied with, the Antwarch Dragonknight Kingdom. But they provide the regular things... Books in abundance, food, tools, and news of the war."

pringerbeam

"I see...  And what can you tell me about these dragon knights?"

Throndir

"Land dwellers... But... they haven't shown the Wind Priests any hostility, and they know that we do visit the Velothian Dragons on a yearly basis. They are a people who form contracts with the dragons on Mount Velothia. I guess as far as land-dwellers go, they aren't too bad... But my people haven't made any official emissaries to meet them, we've only really dealt with the dragons."

pringerbeam

"Hmmm... Knights...  Maybe your people could learn something from them about waging war.  It could be helpful to get that kind of knowledge and experience if your people are truly committed to trying to become a fighting force.  Is there a reason you never really engaged much with them before?  If they are the allies of these dragons you seem to hold in such high esteem, surely they can't be that ad."

Throndir

"Well... We only land once a year as well, and only to restock, so no one up here had ever thought it necessary to speak with them. The few knights that my people came upon, were those that lingered on the mountain with the Velothian dragons."

Dalina smiled.

"You'll probably meet them yourself when we land tomorrow."

pringerbeam

Jean looked over to Dalina.  "Well I guess there is nothing left but to see how things turn out.  Better try and get some rest.  A long journey starts tomorrow.  Are you ready?"

Throndir

Dalina took a deep breathe. Relaxing herself she looked towards you, catching your eyes.

"As ready as I can be." Dalina said nodding her head. "We'll arrive there in the morning was what I heard... Lets watch the landing together?"

pringerbeam

"Sure, as long as you can manage to get up in time for it yourself."  Replied Jean.  He crawled back into his bunk.  "Can't be a sleepyhead on the road either so I hope you enjoyed getting to sleep in."  He added with a quick sticking out of his tongue before rolling over to sleep.
