Arshae, seeing the beast wounded by the others, decides to try and move in for the kill.  He swings his staff is a sideways sweep.

Arshae hears a sickening squelch as the end of his staff breaks open the beast's temple as it hammered in one of Roland's arrows like a nail through fabric. The beast's eyes roll back in its head and it slumps to the ground with a final gasp alongside its companion. Standing there in exhausted silence for a moment no other trouble or assualt comes to greet the group.  The continuing sound of the bell ringing close by seems to have drowned out the noise of combat that any remaining raiders have not seemed to taken notice. All told less then five minutes have passed since combat began.

The center of town now seems largely clear from your vantage point still somewhat outside on the bridge. Any goblins that remain are probably busy looting the buildings and any bodies they found. You can see chains going from the near by watch towers to the bridge you are standing on now that you are closer. Going up to one of those towers would allow you to probably pull up the bridge if the mechanism was still intact. The town still smolders in places no telling who or what remains in the town proper let alone the keep now in shambles on the island where Ravic imagines the lady he was looking for most likely lived, and who ever is ringing that bell seems to not tire.

Then there were those tracks leading north from the town. You take a moment to gather your thoughts but feel the pressure to need to act.

Watching the wargs meet their demise brought a satisfaction that Roland hadn't felt in years, if not ever. Without the distraction of those beasts he finally had a chance to survey his surroundings. The ruined buildings called out to him, promising shelter and familiar territory; but most of all, abandoned goods. The thought of the wargs or any other monstrosity loomed in his mind. If I can survive those things in the open, he thought, I could survive anything in the alleys. Roland shrugged his shoulders, and skulked towards the center of the town.

Arshae raises his eyebrow at the human wandering off.  Well with luck they will draw out our foes for us.  In the meantime...  those bells should be investigated, if only to quell that incessant ringing.  Maybe this town was pillaged for some quiet.  He turns to the remaining humans.  "Mayhaps we should go find the source of that ringing.  It is either a survivor or the town's attackers.  Either way it probably holds some answer for us and it would likely be best if we stay together for now.  I don't know what that fellow is aiming to accomplish."  Arshae thumbs over his shoulder at Roland.  "But I think we stand a better chance against what lies in this village as a group.  Some feral beasts are likely the least troublesome foe we will face."
