It roared in response, and like before you did your best getting out of the way, dodging, rolling, and parrying the heads as they came. Your movements were sluggish from the wounds across your bodies, and one particular attack was just about to go through...

You saw the attack coming, and using your training, you suddenly disappeared. The head struck just where you were moments ago, in confusion it attempted to look around. Moments later you appeared however, unscathed from the attack as wisps of dust and sand were thrown into the air from your manuever.

Before the Hydra could get its bearings you struck out leaping in the air with your weapons in the lead. The whip was only a glancing blow on it, but your twist in the air brought your rapier right into the base of its body, going in deep. It roared in agony, and soon it stopped moving.

However, for whatever reason, this time the large beast did not disappear in a flash of light. And in horror, you saw the wounds you inflicted beginning to close up. It was still vulnerable, and this was your time to strike.

You thrust out with both of your weapons, getting through its thick hide. The rapier went deep as the whip managed to stab in a few places as well. This time around, it was more than what the creature could handle, and the familiar flash of bright light soon came taking the beast away.

You were covered in wounds from head to toe, just a little bit more would have been a repeat of yesterday's battle.

The crowd went wild at the amazing bout of combat, and many of them had even begun to chant Markus' name.

Let me know if you want to go to next round, and also state all your preparations that might be different than what your character sheet marks as default. Eg, abilities for use, healing potions bought, spells prepared and available, maneuvers readied and available, etc. Spells or abilities that have at least a 1+ hour duration can be pre-cast. Feel free to use consumables in this downtime phase of an hour. Please verify the status log below before we start.

If I'm doing the math correctly, Markus spent 3/5 of his Ki points last fight so his two maneuvers prepared for this fight will be "Half-gone" and "Solar Sting".
