The whistling pass... Annia mouthed as she read the location where the mission was to take place. Almost instinctively she puckered her lips and attempted to whistle... of course it ended in failure... as it always usually does. She glanced around embarassed and making sure that no one had seen her failed attempt. Luckily the rest of the guild were busy either socializing or looking at the other missions posted on the board. A soft but warm masculine chuckle invaded her thoughts.

Still working on that Annie? I have thought that by now you would have given up. Annia didn't respond, though she squeezed the hilt of her katana tied to her side. Not a moment later a sound akin to whistling entered her thoughts again, as well as an almost teasing sense of feeling that accompanied it. Rather than berating her mentor she instead focused on reading the rest of the parchment pinned to the board.

Mr. Samuel... vagabonds... hyenas... As she read, she couldn't help but start pulling the parchment off the board to read the item. Little by little she drew the parchment closer as she kept reading through the material.

Rip.

The knight widened her eyes in alarm as the paper was ripped from the board. Panicking she quickly grabbed the pin from a nearby mission posting and jammed the needle straight into both of them. They both hung awkwardly of course, but at least it was back on the board.

Annia glanced around her again making sure that no one had noticed. When she was satisfied, she hurriedly made her way out of the building.

I'm sorry Mr. Samuel for ripping that mission posting! I'll definitely help. And with that she pushed the large doors of the guild open, and made her way outside with the sounds of laughter echoing through her mind.

She of coursed ignored the sounds as she pulled her katana from her scabbard a few inches and jammed it back in hard.

Branwen raised an eyebrow as a hurried-looking woman sprinted away, doing little to hide her embarrassment, though over what she didn't care to guess. She closed her book to look up at the board, upon which she immediately noticed two of the postings which were somewhat out of place.

There was a very, very slight twitch of the black girl's eyebrows.

A few moments later, the papers were right again. In the absence of bulletin board pins, two spare sewing needles now fastened each paper separately to the board, perfectly level and even. There was little she could do about the tear, but just seeing them hanging at such an obtuse angle irked her immensely.

Naturally, she happened to read the posters as she was fixing them, on behalf of whatever dimwitted fool had marred them so. She was not particularly interested in ogres. Such brutish imbeciles were a waste of her talents. These vagabonds, however, seemed to be somewhat more competent. At the very least, she could respect a group that possessed the capacity to enact a successful caravan raid without revealing their identities.

Perhaps she would test their mettle...

Gralof's calm eyes surveyed the area, his greateaxe hanging loosely on his back. It had been quite the uneventful week, and he didn't want to waste it all on sitting around and twiddling his thumbs. A clumsier member of the guild bumped into him, and his short temper flared for just a fraction of a second.

"Oh, sorry," The guild member muttered quickly and went on her way.

A grunt acknowledging the apology escaped from his brute figure. He then noticed a piece of parchment on the board near him. Two, actually. A woman was reading them and fixing them as she read. Gralof shrugged the unusual OCD-like behavior and went towards the mission.

Hm. Hyenas and assailants and on top of that, an ogre. Oh how the hatred of ogres burned inside of Gralof. It sounded like something for him to do, and there also seemed to be a reward.

Gralof turned and made way for the location of the mission start; no doubt there'd be more guild members joining him.

'It's that time of the day again' Kassadin thought to herself as her heavy steps echoed in the halls of the guild, bumping into people every now and then. Sometimes they thought about voicing complaints, but then their eyes were drawn to the massive crystal blade on her back, it's perfectly polished black surface a constant accessory to the woman.

She had been a part of the guild for weeks now, but had yet to accept a mission. Nothing so far had seemed particularly interesting. And it wasn't like she wasn't looking. The Elan had been coming to the mission board every day to find something that suited her tastes. Her eyes lazily scanned the wall of bounties and notes as she traced it's length with her hand. Lady Rivers had to accept SOMETHING today, but everything was so terribly dull. Ogres and Hyenas were normal gladiator fare. Still, if she didn't, the higher ups had threatend to kick her out, and she did enjoy the free room and board.

With great agression, she tore the note detailing the Valelorian Mechent Guild's request.

"Fine." Kassadin grumbled to herself before tossing the paper on the floor. It was the best so far and was worth a shot. The gladiator made her way to the mission start point to see who else would be joining her. Hopefully the people would be more interesting than the mission.

The young druid, Elwood, seeing the minor exodus walked over to read the paper on the ground. Eager to be of help and never having seen a sandstorm or hyenas, he decided to follow the violent-looking woman out.

At the door, he turned on his heel, trotted back, and pinned the now sorry-looking piece of paper back on the board. He wondered idly if Oglen the Ogre would get a cleric to fix his hazy eyes, then remembering his business turned and left.

His trusty badger companion, Myrtle, plodded after.

The wind blew creepingly in and the once again creepingly out as Ludar sat his back to the only untouched wall in the Guild hall. Snorting he half acknowledged another passing member of the guild, being brought in by gurney, he chortled at the young halfing who lay flat on his back ruddy hairy feet protruding from under a warm covering. "Let me guess, turkeys again?". The two bearers nodded, almost in sync. Ludar slapped the expired halflings shoulder, "Nothing the priests of Helm can't fix. On with ya!", he yelled.

The cleric stoked his beard as approached a rather messy looking board, apparently order was not the proverbial habitat of guildsmen nor its overseers. He curtly turned the papers at a slight angle, to denote their differences and to separate them clearly from one another. One in particular caught his eye, apparently a Mr Sorrington was in dire need of rescue, what better way to spend a day then rescuing someones most precious goods and a good sandstorm could lend to clearing up ones lungs.

Burdenking

Zallri made her way through the crowd of people, having come back to see if she could find herself another mission to take. Lately, all she had been given was mundane tasks, like pairing a house or finding a cow. Her heart ached for adventure, to see something new. She walked up to the mission board, unintentionally having her more massive hind end bump into a smaller guild member, sending the poor soul to the ground without Zallri noticing. She looked over the many missions, all of them seeming nice enough, but one caught her eye.

"Mystery bandits? Hyenas? And a new place to see?" She said quietly, smiling at the entire idea. Determined by the discovery, Zallri backed away from the mission board carefully and the. Headed out to gather her weapons and armor, and then rushing off as she had missed the rest of the guild members that had chosen to take the quest as well.
