Warcraft III Reign of Chaos + Expansion The Frozen Thrones

Once upon a REALLY long time ago I played a game called Warcraft III. Now I've never been into empire building games (RTS), but this one stood out form others. I was searching around on a torrent site demonoid.me, which is no longer up and running, but stumbled upon  the torrents for the game. I thought to myself I really gotta have this. So I downloaded the iso files grabbed daemon tools lite again and got some keygens. After a week of playing the game I couldnt get enough. It reminded me of years ago playing that game day in and day out. If anyone else remembers this game post what you thought about it.

I never played Warcraft 3 too much. Originally, this was because I had borrowed it from a friend. Now, it is because I am busy with work and school. However, I do remember the first time I had played it. I had played RTS games before Warcraft 3, but it was the first I played that had 3D graphics.

My previous experience was StarCraft and Age of Empires 1. I installed Warcraft 3 in giddy anticipation and when I was able to play the game I was all like, "HOLY CAT TURDS, THAT'S ACTUALLY 3D. WHOA, SMOKING BUTT OYSTERS, I CAN ZOOM THE CAMERA IN AND OUT!"

Aside from the graphics, I got sucked into the story. I wasn't too impressed with the mechanics since it was pretty similar to StarCraft and Age of Empires. It was actually the first RTS I had played from start to finish instead of just doing a random match with the computer.

Warcraft III was great, I was also sucked in the story more than anything else though.

I found it different from Age of Empires II, but it was similar to Starcraft. Age of Empires II had walls, which pretty much changed everything for me. XD I usually play defensive and focus on booming when I play RTS. Warcraft III was a lot more aggressive.

Speaking of RTS games with walls i just remembered about C&C series red alert had walls in it but i never atually played the story on C&C i always played online against people.
