How Missions Work

Overview
In this board will be a list of missions. Each player can choose to "sign up" for a specific mission. However many times a mission has recommended requirements, for example, say you need at least 3 players to do the "dungeon under the castle". It may start with less than 3, or more than 3. But difficulty of that particular mission stays the same.

Recommended Level and Number of Players
These are more like recommendations than actual rules. For example perhaps there's a mission that requires at least level 6, with a party of 3. However, say a group of 6 level 4 characters decide to tackle it, they surely can!

Creating a Mission (for DMs)
If you would like to create a mission, please follow the format of previous missions. Once the mission is started, create a new thread in the main Guild of Galas'nor board (where all the other roleplays are). You are responsible for DMing this mission and/or other DMs you have to co-DM it with you.

Dropping In and Out
Due to the nature of forum roleplays, characters can drop in and out. Though I suggest it, it is up to the DM of that particular mission if they allow new characters in, and also how many to allow in. This is to ensure that the dungeon is still challenging. If the players in the dungeon all agree the difficulty is too much, it is encouraged to let new characters in. For characters who seem inactive, or are thinking of dropping out, I encourage giving it a few encounters before a DM should decide. Note that DMs should not kill off inactive characters. Instead, let them simply disappear or head out of the dungeon.

Being in more than one mission at the same time
You can have your character be in more than one mission at the same time if you think you'll be active enough to post in both. Exp and inventory then becomes shared between the two.
