I can't remember when I wrote most of them, but I can say they're mostly from my middle and early high school years (2002-2007). A lot of them haven't been typed up, either, so I'll come back through and add more in later on.

Death

Screaming silently in its pain
Crying tearlessly with no stain
Gripping tiredly to get no gain

This is the way of a dieing soul

Fighting by shear strength of will
Struggling with no real skill
Weakening by a nasty ill

This is the way of dieing flesh

Reaching out with hope asunder
Running out only to be hit by thunder
Knowing that soon they?ll all go under

This is the way of a caring friend

Flying Free

I visited her grave today
I never went that day
My soul died that day
When I found her lying there
So cold and lifeless
She had so many dreams
But only one true wish
Since she left
I have lived my life
They way she would have lived hers
All her dreams
They became mine
All her pains
They became mine
I took up what she worked so hard to become
I am finishing
What her life started
Never once
Did I have enough courage
To visit that place
Where you all contributed
A special memory of her
Not until today
I wanted to thank her
For introducing herself to me that day
She helped me to become
The very thing I am now
And the way I have thanked her
For helping me
Is by finally granting her only true wish
I have let go of the one part of her
That I vowed would always be close to me
I have granted her only wish
Her only true dream
Yes, her ashes are Flying Free.

Garden Of Friends

Friends are like flowers in so many ways?
They give you such joy, even on those bad days?

Not Enough Courage

Everyday I pass you by in the school hallway.
Every night I dream about you being my prince charming.
I think of what I should say to you if I ever talked to you.
I wish upon shooting stars, wishing to be with you.
But I?m just too afraid to speak up.
I read about people who have the courage to do so.
It makes me feel brave for the day, and then I forget.
I wish I were brave enough to do this.
I wish I could just do it.
Instead of dreaming and wishing, I should just do it.
Not wait, like I?ve been doing.
I wish I could just say it and not build myself up?
?
Will you always be mine?

Our Friend

How about when we played dress-up on New Years Eve?
Or when we pretended to be horses, pulling wagons?

Those where the good old times, when we where young.
When we didn?t care about what people thought about us.
When we had lots of energy to use up.
When we didn?t care about growing up.
Or dieing to soon in the world.
Or how cute we looked.

Remember when nothing could break our friendship?

Slain Love

Held in place by pride, an invisible wall.
See in her eyes, sadness beyond reason
Held in by pride, no matter the season.

You reach out comfort her
But she slips away like a blur.
You finally see what causes her pain

To Describe Myself

If I were to describe myself as something,
I would describe myself as a cactus.
I will stab you with a needle,
If you don?t know my weak spots.
But, once you find them,
You will find something you worked hard for.

You would find a fun, caring, honest, creative, and humble friend for life.

If I were to describe myself,
I would describe myself as a walnut.
I will show you the outside,
A hardened heart and no feelings.
But, once you find my weak spot and crack me open,
You will find what you have oh so desired.

I would describe myself as a bee.
I will sting you with my stinger,
If you threaten me or my family or my friends.

On special occasions a rare event may happen

Should that time come to happen

Fate

Fate is a grand thing of sorts
Something I always knew
Of all the years I followed its Path
The ones I enjoyed the most were with you
For when Fate?s Path for me turns away
I find my soul turning Sorrow?s blue
But I know, in my heart, it is for the best
I always come back stronger to protect that which is true

You see it is Fate?s Will
That I guide your Life?s Path through
I must protect that which is important
And that important thing is you
Fate?s Path is not always so grand, you know
One day, I will leave forever, and bid you adieu
But I beg you not to cry
For it is Fate?s Will that I die just for you

Fate?s Will will only change
If your choices are wise and the foolish are few
But I would rather follow Fate?s Path for me
If it means your life will be saved from you know who
I chose to do this to save your life
From what Fate had in store for you
So when I was asked to be your Guardian Angel
I swore to Fate that that is what I would forever do

A mixture of two
Purple became the third color

Nine Years and Counting

I remember that fateful day
It happened nine years ago, today
My parents had taken me to your birthday party
Even though, to me, you were just another classmate in my new school

Fate seemed to have much larger plans
Than those that I had in mind
For it was that day when we first became friends
Because all the other kids you had invited were not to be found

Over those next few months,
We became the best of friends
And on that summer, when we were nine,
A promise of eternal friendship we both made

In the years that have passed us by
We have had our trials
You were there to save my life
And I to give moral support in yours

A few times I thought that I would lose you
But I held on to our friendship oh so tight
You would always come back
I needn?t have worried

And now, today, it has been nine years
Nine years of friendship
Nine years of trials
Nine years of the best years of my life

So today is your special day
You are now eighteen years of age
We have come so very far
From the children we once were

Even though we are now so far away
You and I have gone our separate paths
I know that we shall always be friends
Until the day we die and beyond

'Last Goodbye' was good.

'Long For Your Love' was good too, this was one of the poems you wrote in the perspective of a male right?

'Slain Love' was really good too, I liked that one.

'Please Don't' was good. Makes you feel sad for the person.

'Fate' was good. I can imagine a backgroud story on it.
