[Virgil Wright] Prologue - Downtime Days 12-13

Virgil gets up early in the morning and yawns as he scratches his face. The stubble is growing in a bit more but it doesn't grow on the scars. He rubs them for a moment and scratches behind his partial left ear. He grunts to himself for a moment as he reflects. He isn't ashamed of them and he doesn't consider himself a victim. It's more of a penance. He slowly gets up and gets his pants on as he goes to a bowl of water across the room. He stops and looks at his reflection in the water. He thinks to himself for a moment, "This is what you used to look like on the inside. Now you wear your sins for the world to see." He chuckles to himself and splashes his face with a handful of water. "Well, let's make something productive today."

After getting dressed he reaches over towards a table expecting something to be there. Grasping out at nothing he just shakes his head and sighs."I really need to get a new hat..." He then looks over towards the scorpion venom sacs. He gets his alchemy gear set up and begins the process of processing the venom.

Find the item's price in silver pieces (1 gp = 10 sp).
Find the item's DC from Table: Craft Skills.
Pay 1/3 of the item's price for the raw material cost.
Make an appropriate Craft check representing one week's worth of work. If the check succeeds, multiply your check result by the DC. If the result × the DC equals the price of the item in sp, then you have completed the item. (If the result × the DC equals double or triple the price of the item in silver pieces, then you've completed the task in one-half or one-third of the time. Other multiples of the DC reduce the time in the same manner.) If the result × the DC doesn't equal the price, then it represents the progress you've made this week. Record the result and make a new Craft check for the next week. Each week, you make more progress until your total reaches the price of the item in silver pieces.

Progress by the Day: You can make checks by the day instead of by the week if desired. In this case your progress (check result × DC) should be divided by the number of days in a week.

At the end of the second day, you managed to refine only about 20% of the poison.
