Lyolf was going to take his chakram? True that the nature of the white elephant gift exchange made the participants almost squabble with the gifts, and it never guaranteed who would obtain the item in the end. But Nyuko was more than glad that it was his mentor, Serena, that managed to get her hands on the chakram that he himself spent his own mission earnings on. He had considered using the weapon himself, proficient was he in the more rarer weapons, but more commonly found in his homeland, but in the end the catboy eventually decided to give up the gift in the exchange.

Nyuko knew he couldn't quite complain, but he was more than just a little bit sad that his chakram wasn't going to Serena.

Nyuko takes 9th gift from Lyolf.

["Istersnyu..."]

"Istersnyu..." Nyuko said as he pulled on his sister's sleeve. His face looked pale and slightly green, and he seemed to be clutching his stomach.

"My stomach doesn't feel so good-nyu." As he said this, he covered his mouth and lurched over. The catboy thankfully held off from vomitting, but it was easy to tell he was just trying to hold it in.

Knowledge (nature):

["Nyunpa!"]

"Nyunpa!" Nyuko said cheerfully with a huge grin. He ran up towards his uncle, almost tackling him with a huge hug. In their language, this particular attack was called a 'lompgnya'. It was like a flying attack, but instead of weapons or claws drawn, it would be their open arms.

The catboy hadn't seen his uncle in years. The last time he had personally seen him was when he was still very young, and he remembered the long pieces of string and balls of yarn his uncle would bring back with him whenever he visited. He remembered too the stories uncle Nyunpa would tell them. Of large giant sea creatures, that when cooked just right was absolutely magnificent. Nyuko hugged his uncle tight as his stomach growled. Just thinking about the food from his uncle's hometown from all the stories Nyuko was told made him hungry.

Nyuko made it a point to attempt to speak common, if anything, their companion Kin, would understand.

"Can wenya try the foodnyu?" Nyuko asked, his eyes sparkling.

But Nyuko continued to stalk as his green eyes seemed to glow in anticipation. The giant rat was speaking to him in Common, and combined with his seemingly trance-like interest in the ratfolk, as well as his basic understanding of the language, most of it was lost on the cat boy. For some reason he couldn't explain, the ratfolk looked so very enticing. And with that in mind, Nyuko ran forward his eyes locked on to the potential play-thing.

Close the gap and pounce! Let me know if I need to roll initiative/reflex/CMB, or whatever.

Whether it was from natural instinct, or some unknown desire. Nyuko licked his lips as his eyes locked on to the running rat creature heading towards them. He wasn't going to eat it, that was ridiculous, but something about that large giant rat running towards them tugged at Nyuko's senses, and he immediately began crouched low as his eyes flashed their intense desire. Once the giant rat was near, he would pounce on it.

["Let's both take point-nya?"]

Nyuko frowned at first as he looked at his companion. He was haggard already from the fight before, and already some of his clothing looked a bit singed from the contact with the ooze, but shortly after he managed to put up a positive face.

"Let's both take point-nya?"

Nyuko will continue leading/scouting, and will stop on anything suspicious.

["Win for us-nya."]

His sword connected, and Nyuko would have grinned in satisfaction as the enchantments on his weapon took effect as frost attacked where his blade hit. Unfortunately, Nyuko was already at his limits. He would have never guessed a single blow would do so much damage, and as the flames started to pour forth from Jin's mantle, Nyuko knew he wouldn't have very much longer. He managed to glance at Wolfrin who still stood at a fair distance away.

It hurt to speak, and he wasn't sure if his voice carried any sound at all with the pain bearing down on him from both his arm, and now the flames.

"Win for us-nya."

And with that he was gone.

Grabbing his two blades, they sparked with elemental energies. Nyuko knew this would be their only chance at winning, and even though the chances were small, he had to take it. He rolled forward, doing his best to dance into range. Jin had heavy armor, after all all that weight would slow him down, and Nyuko planned to use that to his advantage.

But all of a sudden Jin was there. Nyuko hesitated, not believing for a moment that the armored man could suddenly change his position so quickly.  Nyuko attempted to roll his body out of the way in midair, but it wasn't enough. He felt the sting of the attack hit as Jin's blade connected deep into his arm.

Nyuko takes 36 damage.

He steeled himself from the pain as he saw the ground rush up to him. He couldn't let his momentum waiver however, and as he fell, he rolled once bringing himself back up to level and swung his blades around, attacking the now closer Jin. He grit his teeth knowing full well the blast of fire that would strike next.
