I want to keep this real simple because I know people have lives, so I want a player to spend as little time as possible to accomplish an action therefore the following process will be super overly simplified. There will be a serious of listed actions that can be used in pretty much any situation, if not I'll indicate during that scenario.

Basic
1. INTERACT this is simply used to indicate that the player wishes to interact with a player or other object, creature in the game. This is stated by using the word interact along with who are what you want to interact with. If something can't be interacted with it will be assumed that the player is "talking to themselves".

2. NEUTRAL player essentially does nothing and waits to see what the other players will do. Note: If called upon by a party member a player may still elect to remain neutral. Neutral events include, sleeping, eating, & any other action that would have no consequences on anyone or anything. A player can simply state "I am currently remaining neutral while I do {action}"

Actions - Defensive
3. DEFENSE A player may declare that they are currently going to be defensive, this involves performing some sort of defensive event such as blocking, casting a defensive spell or any other action that implies protecting oneself or others. A player can simply state "I am being defensive, as I am only parrying this round".

4. FLEE A player may declare a flee action anytime they wish to remove themselves from a situation, this does not necessarily mean combat, however if the character has already initated an action of some other (besides defensive) penalties will apply, i.e. player is currently attacking and decides to flee, chances of player getting hit behind go up drastically.

5. PROTECT A player may declare a protect action anytime they wish to guard or shield a person or object, that they deem needs protection, A protect action can give another player time to recuperate from a hit, or heal themselves. Note: Any damage or effects originally directed at the the protected player will now be auto directed to protector.

Actions - HOSTILE
6. ATTACK A player may declare attack action on any person place or thing. When a player declares an attack, they are choosing to take a hostile action and accepting all possible outcomes including death or dismemberment.

7. ASSASSIN A player may declare themselves an assassin action at any time that they wish to not engage in combat and attempt a sneak attack against another player or object. Once declaring an assassin action it can not be retconed once committed to public forum. This is also called murder.

8. STEAL A player may declare a steal option against another player or object, Stealing is not easy and often ends if failure, moral of the story is if your not a thief, probably best to not try and steal anything. To use a steal action a player must indicate what they want to steal and what reason there character would commit such an act. "I just want it" only works if your character is a kleptomaniac.

Okay officially rebooting Heroes, there will be a number of changes including the location, events, and time period. Powers will work pretty much the same except for a few changes to how alignment works. Also most heroes will have had solo adventures before joining the Enforcers. More details coming.

Thinking of rebooting heroes, allowing players to jointly setup a team, team name, logo and base. A lot of interactive features that are easy to setup. So you guys tell me what you think, and if you think it's a good idea :)

News / Image Hosting Site boltimg

This is just a brief review of the site www.boltimg.com.

So far I've been very happy with it.

Just a few things to keep in mind:

It only allows images 10mb or under, for most user cases this is not a problem.
The account appears to be unlimited (so far, I've uploaded well over 2gbs of images.)

One of the more interesting features is uploading a temporary image and have it auto deleted after a set amount of time, or you can set it to never delete.

It has all the normal features that a image hosting site would have including creating links.


The site is very fast and the code is well written, so overall a very smooth experience.

Personality:
Harmony can be very strict at times, she is always looking out for the other heroes safety, a mother-hen of sorts she is quick to recommend options other than combat. Harmony always is surrounded bay a aura of  Healing Calm this causes magical/physical damage to be healed at a faster rate as well as reducing fear attacks by 30% It also produces a sense of peace and oneness.


History:
Quincy was born into a rather lavish lifestyle early in her life, she remembers little of it as her family quickly left Japan during the great uprising of 2014, After arriving in the reformed United Collation, she was soon found to have unusual powers by the Accesors. Taken from her family at the young age of four,  she spent most of her life isolated and knowing little of the outside world. When she reached the age of 21 she was released to serve the Heroes Corp and has been there ever since.

Quincy closed the small worn leather book, its spine bare with age. It had been sitting for quite some time in the Heroes Guild Library, neatly placed into one of the many hermetically sealed displays, it inauspiciously sat never expecting to be read, she assumed.

But she couldn't take the credit for this particular find, it was Viktor with his enormous appetite for knowledge who had first come across the indelicate book. He had asked for her help in this somewhat elusive endeavor, as it would require her specific set of skills. That skill being the ability to phase through and transmogrify matter in a rather spectacular and sometimes amusing way.

Vicktor had explained to her that He and Seth had been having vivid dreams about this book, and That the dreams were getting more and more tangible. So Quincy had agreed to help, besides she was rather fond of the young 'bookworm' and Seth. Viktor reminded her a lot of her late younger brother even had hair similar to his. Add in  the fact that the three of them were magic users and you could come up with pretty ironed out 'friendship-combo'.



Seth had followed behind them curious as to what they were looking for. He had often spent time in the Guild Library. It was quite, and at times isolating, just how he liked it.  His favorite place in the Hall was the cauldron, so called because of it's ability to shield all magics, it allowed one who dealt with magical forces to practice without danger of being hurt or hurting others.

"It's a strange read.. To be sure, ",she said her eyes still giving a quizzical look toward the font cover of the old book,"But I don't feel anything ominous or foreboding about it.".

She turned toward Seth, lightly brushing away a strand of long stray golden hair that had somehow become glued to her face. "Here you take a look, I haven't got a clue.", Qunicy handed the book to Seth and he instinctively took it as she half tossed it toward him...



Description of the Book:
The book is rather light and limited in content, it's cover is barely discernible and smells slightly of rotten pulp. Inside the book is filled mostly with quotes about fire beasts and other fantastical statements. The spine of the book is bare and has little left of the original designs that were inlaid on its wrap.

Note:
Any player can walk into the library in order to be involved in the plot, it doesn't just pertain to magic users.

You realize as the obelisk explodes that if it wasn't for your shield you could very easily have been dead. The information overload is to much for you as you try to use the word "shatter", you can barely utter a whisper and result is to overwhelming all your nerves fire at once as you realize that it's over, you collapse to the ground barely able to hold your own weight,
