Seeing your opportunity as the slime creature closed the gap on you, you unleashed an attack. The blow hit it on the mark. As your fists went into the slime, for whatever reason you didn't feel the sting of its acid. The attack did however, leave your combatant staggered as it attempted to recover.

Due to your nearness to the slime, the creature leapt on you, proceeding to engulf you in its green-colored body. This time, the acid hurt.

Lashing out quickly as the slime ;latched onto her the acid burned, but not as one might expect thanks to her celestial bloodline. There were a few perks to being descended from a god. As she quickly tried to hit some form of center mass she pulled on another gift from her long gone ancestors. She was not aiming for the body so much the nature of the thing. Every living thing no matter how corrupted or mindless carried in it that force of life. That thing her god tapped into and illuminated. The true soul of a thing which carried with it all the desires and decisions made clearer then any scar. Her hit aimed to dislodge that thing from the tethers of its organic body making the desire and the ability to act out of sink.

The green slime continued to pull you in, but you reacted quickly. You began drawing upon your inner divine powers and you managed to keep your concentration long enough for you to trigger your ability. Soon enough the slime creature was affected, and you easily stepped out of it. It was fast asleep, but you knew it would wake up very soon. The moment to strike was now.

Serena seizing the opportunity does a quick series of rapid fire blows to the thing attempting to destroy that things life energy and render the ooze back into formless goo. With her dance like blows attacking the essence of the thing this was her chance to do lasting damage.

You struck the creature down, and there were a few in the crowd who took note. The amount of adventurers able to get through the 3rd tier of the challenge ladder was not a very big number after all.
