As the final Bellsprout fainted, Lynne let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you for the battle, sir. I learned a lot!" Lynne was excited, happy, and concerned. So many Pokemon had fainted in the battle. "Shall we go and take care of our Pokemon's wounds?" She figured she would see if her opponent also wanted to come along, they both needed to visit the Pokemon center anyway.
The elderly man laughed heartily.
"Of course, an old man like me would love an escort to the Pokemon center." He pulled out a Pokedex - you notice it being one of the older models, in fact it was still that strange off-white color that you haven't seen in years, not to mention rather bulky.
"Here's my Pal Pad number, lets test those bonds with your Pokemon again in the future... We'll see how much you've grown."
"Wow, that Pokedex must have seen a lot. Did you do a lot of traveling?" Lynne exchanged numbers with the elderly man. "You'll have to train too, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to your Pokemon!"
