[Daniel] Trainer Battle: Movie Star

Thistle saw it coming. The surprisingly quick Hitmonlee speeding its way towards it yet again, and whether it was luck or pure skill, Thistle managed to avoid getting hit entirely. As Kick's attack flew to the side harmlessly, Thistle brandished its claws again and raked into the Pokemon's hide, leaving a gashing wound.

The Hitmonlee could take no more from the repeated attacks however, and it began to drop. A flash of red light engulfed it shortly after however.

Soon enough the movie star replaced him with another Pokemon.

"You did pretty well I have to admit, that mole is tougher than it looks. But you haven't seen my last Pokemon..." He pulled out another Pokeball and sent it out.

Daniel cheers at Thistle's dodge and reactive scratch. "Nice, Thistle! Come on back and rest, you did great!"[/color] Dan recalls his friend back to her ball for safety, moving to a new Pokemon. "Alright, Bolt, let's size this one up! Prepare a Spark!"

Dan calls out his trusty Shinx, Bolt, to help deal with the man's next Pokemon. Bolt hopped down from Dan's backpack and stepped in front, ready to fight. Dan was certainly against the ropes with this fight, and both he and Bolt knew that. "Careful, bud. He's turned out tougher than we thought." Bolt nodded seriously, ready to strike.

Dan could tell Bolt was weary. This trainer turned out to be much more prepared than he'd expected. But he couldn't step back defensively, it would leave them open to attack, and there was no defending against this guy's offensive power. They had to keep attacking. The electric spark seemed to have caused the Hitmontop some nervous trouble, so he only could hop that that helped.

"Bolt, keep it up! Hit him with a Tackle!"

"Yes!" Daniel pumped his arm at Bolt's successful hit. "Great job, Bolt! Charge in for another Spark attack!" Daniel knew he was playing a dangerous game. It was likely that the paralysis wouldn't take hold again, especially with the support of the trainer. But he had to do as much as he could. After all, he only had one Pokemon left after Bolt, and chances are the fight would still be rough.
