Sneaking through the brush, you close in on the Phanpy, they're adorable and frolicking together, seeming to have not noticed you.

Kedric

The team rocket grunt had been taking a stroll, with his faithful companion Digger. It was a glorious day after all, and Kedric had decided that today would be a day to go scouting.

"YES! My faithful companion Digger! We are doing that sort of scouting!" Kedric said outloud almost randomly as he walked with his Pokemon. Not that Digger had any idea what was going in his master's head, but the Pokemon seemed to make a grunting noise and continued to follow along. The Sandshrew was used to Kedric's antics after all.

"We shall find the most glorious of spots, to create our next most glorious hole!" He said as he continued on. He was about to speak further on the matter, such as the exquisite feeling of dirt being moved with a wonderful tool called a shovel, when he caught eye of something, or more specifically, of someone. It looked like an Academy student, wearing the same uniform he had too, though for the opposite gender. She seemed to be sneaking towards some Phanpy further onwards.

"That beast! It is magnificent. I am certain we can use that nose of his as an air blower for the dirt we find!" He paused as he glanced at Digger. When it came to stealthily approaching things, Kedric had considered himself to be well-versed in, and when he realized what the other student was trying to accomplish, Kedric began moving to the opposite end. Surrounding was the best strategy after all!

As Ava tried to sneak closer to the Phanpy, her foot got caught on a root and she went tumbling into  the meadow. The Phanpy instantly stopped their frolicking, and turned alerted to the intruder, taking up a defensive stance. Meanwhile, Kedric had circled around behind them, and they didn't seem to notice him.

"Alright Digger!" Kedric whispered fierce to his companion. "The lady has captured their attention. Today is the day to make us both proud. You know what to do." He grinned slyly as a sparkle appeared in his eyes. With that, he dashed off with his friend in tow. Appearing behind the Phanpy he waved at the other student. He continued gliding however, his goal towards the nearest Phanpy.

The Phanpy were too distracted by Ava's mistake to notice Kedric as he snuck up behind them. One of them was the target of his attack, the blow landed cleanly and the Pokemon was too distracted to react. The Sandshrew went and made an attempt to grapple the Phanpy but stumbled, and rolled past it, alerting the second to its presence. The other whirled around, confused as to what had happened, and who it should be more wary of, between the girl, the man, and the Sandshrew.
