While wandering through campus, Lynne saw a familiar face. She didn't know the girl all too well, but they had gone to the test of courage together.

"Nena! It's been a while. I've heard that there are Pokemon arenas around campus, would you care to have a practice match with me? We can both give it all we've got!" Lynne knew that the girl had more Pokemon than she, but it would be a good experience for her and would double as a good reason to look at some of the facilities that the academy offered. They wanted to let the students learn from hands on experience, and the Pokemon arenas seemed like a good way to do that so she wanted to try them out.

Nena

"Hi Lynne!" Nena said. She was sitting outside where she usually hung out with her sister, and occasionally Kedric. She remembered Lynne well, given that escapade they had in the so-called haunted building. She had only been in a few trainer battles before, she preferred simply playing or training her Pokemon. But she knew that any sort of experience was good.

"Well... Let's see." Nena glanced around her, seeing if her sister were nearby. Fayleen loved to battle after all. Not finding her, she instead agreed.

"The arena then!" Nena said happily. This would be her first try at the Academy's arena, at least she hadn't received an assignment about battling in them before, so in some ways she was excited as well.

"Shall we get started then? The grassy one seems to be open. It looks fun!" Lynne wandered towards the arena, trying to decide which Pokemon would be the best to use against Nena. She only had six, so all of them would participate, but it was important to decide who to send out first!
