Side stories / Re: [Club] Flower Arranging
December 23, 2015, 05:38:31 PM
The boys were right, the majority of their training so far had been a whole lot of running and weight lifting. The idol still couldn't bring herself to be joyful about their activities, but the urge to do them grew ever stronger. It gave her a rush when she beat her past running records, or when the amount of weights she could lift increased. As she continued to stretch a bit, she carefully snuck a glance at the scantily clad Ernest. He had already been fairly toned before the start of their club, but it was amazing how defined his muscles were becoming. She smirked, breaking her stare quickly in hopes of not getting caught.

Ernest had led the group to the field, the club goers being met with a new obstacle this time. Although Serena had originally planned to take control of the group, Ernest, having the most athletic experience, had become more of a leader. She didn't mind too much, since she always threw in her two cents whenever possible.

"Oh lord." Serena thought, her arms crossed as she examined the object before her. She'd never used a pommel jump herself, but, she had seen it done. Despite her inexperience, the need to impress overrode her usual carefulness. Lately, it felt as if her and June were at a similar standing in their club, but she just had to out-do the idol wanna-be. Serena adjusted her hair tie, securing her bubbly pink hair. "I'll show you guys how its done, minna!~." Serena stated, waving at anyone too close to move aside....Why had she just used that odd word...? She shook it off, having other matters to attend to. Her heart began to pick up the pace as she realized what she was doing. But, for whatever reason, she couldn't stop herself. It seemed to be happening again, her urges becoming oddly uncontrollable.

Serena ran at the pommel, an image of what she wanted to accomplish in her head. With only the slightest hesitation, she jumped forward, taking hold of the two handle bars and attempting to spin herself around them. Her next move would be to use those same bars, and do a hand stand, before letting herself fall back and hopefully, land on her feet.

The little girl was sniffling, a couple tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's back that way, through the woods." The little boy replied, turning slightly and pointing behind them. "P-please don't be mad...It's just, someone told us there was treasure through the forest and we wanted to see it!" He explained. "T-there's wolves and scary things!" The sister said through whimpers. "If we don't get back by tonight they will be so worried." The boy told him.

Meanwhile, Sophie had entered the woods. She felt no fear in doing so, something about the glowing light just ahead made her feel safe. Finally, whatever it was, that wonderful light, it was just around that bush! She carefully pushed the leafs aside, trying to keep quiet as she took a peak. "No way...." She whispered, staring at the majestic creature in complete awe. It was a unicorn! She had always questioned their existence. Such rare and and secretive creatures, never in her life did Sophie think she'd have the honor of even seeing one. But no, seeing wasn't enough. She needed to get closer to it.

Sophie moved forward, each step she took was careful, and quiet. She stopped though as the beautiful creature turned its head in the maid's direction. It's entire body had an unearthly aura - the fur was incredibly white. However, the main source of the glow she'd followed after was its horn. Perhaps it had been using the light to guide itself through? It was nearly impossible to make it through the woods at night. The canopy was so thick it even blocked out most of the moons light.

Although the two had made eye contact at this point, the unicorn didn't run, or act afraid. It stood still, as if waiting for Sophie to approach. Sophie did just that - She stood only a foot or two from the creature now. "It's alright, I won't hurt you." Sophie cooed, although it felt as if the unicorn already knew. She began to reach out for it. "This must be a dream." Sophie thought.

Tales of the Guild (IC) / Re: ::A Time of Great Harvest::

Sophie adored learning about her friends - She felt it brought them closer together. "I never actually dreamed I'd be in a guild or anything...." Sophie told him, her eyes wandering toward the stars as she continued thinking back on older times. "I really didn't care much for fighting, either. You know my daggers? My father taught me how to use those." She explained. "But, even after all this time I still don't feel proficient with them." She half laughed. She'd always lacked a certain confidence when it came to combat. She'd had her uses in the past, but somehow it always felt as if she wasn't any good...compared to everyone else, anyway. "I'm pretty sure healing is my calling. The daggers are more to make my papa proud, you know? I'm sorry if he seemed hard on you or anything earlier. I know he comes across as just a farm man, but he did his fair share of fighting back in the day!"Every time she mentioned her father, Sophie took a cheerful tone.

As they continued to patrol, the two finally came up on the shed Sophie had mentioned earlier. It was a simple tool shed, and very old. One of the windows had been boarded up, and moss covered the rotted wooden walls. A musty smell came from inside. Sophie seemed to pick up the pace though, wanting to pass it quickly. "Ugh, I don't suggest you ever go in there." She mentioned with a tone of disgust. The barn was still visible from this side - but only the top half. They had gone pretty far. Mimic still sat at the top, though Sophie questioned whether or not he was still awake. Still thinking back in the past, she got to thinking about how her and Mimic became friends. If it weren't for her, she figured the raven wouldn't be alive today...it was probably the only reason he bothered listening to her.

"Oh, that's a bit odd, don't you think...?" Sophie said, coming to a stop. She had been so caught up in her memories, she hadn't noticed a change in the wind. It had completely stopped. In fact, a warm feeling had slowly begun washing over her. It was actually quite nice. She let the fur slide off her shoulders and under her arm. "I'm glad the wind decided to....to....Ryine?" Sophie paused, suddenly coming to the realization that her warrior friend was nowhere in site. Had he wandered off while she was babbling...? She quickly turned her eyes to the barn and-...Wait, but...why was she looking there again? For whatever reason, her entire purpose for being where she was right then was hard to pin point..."Maybe I was just out for a walk...?" She thought to herself. As she pondered the purpose of being outside, something caught the maid's eye. A feint glow off in the forest, "Was I looking for that?" She wondered. As if being drawn to the bright object, she began making her way toward it. The closer she grew to the tree line, the brighter the glow became. What could it be!? She had to find it.

A similar feeling would likely be taking over Ryine - it was so warm, so comfortable. Just as Sophie had finished telling him stories of her own life, a distraction of sorts came into the warriors view. Two small children came tumbling out of the woods. their clothes were tattered - their hair matted and dirty. One might guess the duo were brother and sister. They seemed distressed as they grew closer to Ryine. "P-please help." One of them called out. "Can you help us?" The other one cried. They only made it a few steps out of the forest before coming to a stop, almost as if an invisible wall had kept them from taking another step. "Please, we need someone to guide us back through the woods." The little girl said, her watery eyes threatening to unleash a waterfall of tears. "We don't feel safe alone, please take us back to the orphanage." The little boy pleaded. "It's back that way, we got lost and...and..." the little girl stopped, as if too shaken to finish her sentence. the boy put an arm around her shoulder in a comforting manner. "It's alright, he looks strong sister!  I bet someone like that could get us there no problem!" The two looked to Ryine as if their lives depended on his decision. If Ryine were to look, or even remember she was around - He wouldn't find Sophie.

Sophie followed as Ryine started his way around the fields. She knew this place by heart. "It's a pretty simple setup! The only thing behind the fields is a small shed" She explained....Sophie shuddered at the thought of the shed. The maid had quite the horrifying experience in her earlier years involving that tiny structure. She pulled the fur Ryine had given her a little tighter around herself as another breeze rolled through. The only noise was the sound of corn stalks swaying about.

"Well, they usually get up an hour or two before sunrise. It's up to us when we wanna sleep I guess, but we should probably get some rest once the workers get here~." Sophie suggested. As they continued along the edges, Sophie glanced into the thick forested area beside them. It was incredibly dark. She could hardly make out the tree trunks!

Sophie remembered comments Ryine had made earlier, her curiosity coming back. "Ryine did you say you lived on a farm too once? Or something similar?" Sophie asked, looking up at him. "I didn't know we had that in common!" She smiled.

Ryine was right, the task the duo had been assigned seemed like a job meant for more people. However, she also knew her father was a bit stingy when it came to money - So it was pretty likely he didn't enjoy the idea of paying more.

The raven, although nearly non-existent during their meal, had been within ears reach of them the entire night. He had eaten quite a lot, and spent the majority of the afternoon napping it off. The moment he had arrived with the letter a day before, Mimic was fed and pampered like a king. He eye'd Ryine, having perched himself on the families roof. "I'd rather not." The raven stated groggily. "Oh, get over here you glutton!" Sophie demanded, her hands placed on her hips. Mimic sighed. "What does he want?" Her familiar asked. It was rare anyone besides Sophie asked him to do things. It wasn't hard for Sophie to pick up on Ryine's intentions. "Head over to the barn please~. Just perch up there and give us a caw if you see anything." She instructed. Mimic ruffled his feathers defiantly before doing as he was asked. "I should really stop bringing him over here, mother feeds him so much he can hardly fly!" Sophie joked.

Ryine had explained the general plan of attack for the night. Patrol a bit, watch the barn, simple stuff. "Thank you very much! I know it might seem silly but, I'm a little attached to this dress." She laughed, wrapping the fur he'd offered around her shoulders. "So, since Mimic's got this covered, maybe we should walk around a bit? The property ends at the treeline, but I'm sure you gathered as much~." She said.

Sophie's mother smiled warmly as Ryine explained himself, not looking the least bit offended or concerned. "A mother can dream, I suppose." Crystal said with a light sigh. "I can easily tell you are a good man, Ryine. I hope you and Sophie stay friends for a long time."

"Come on Crystal, let the kids eat. They've got work to do." Harold interjected. Sophie giggled quietly to herself. She was incredibly embarrassed, but she was glad to see Ryine turn an awkward situation around. The conversation had also gotten her a bit curious about what life was like for Ryine before he came to the guild. He'd given a couple small details, but she wanted the bigger picture. She felt like there was a lot to learn...and with the time they'd be stuck outside, she'd have plenty of time to ask. Despite her parents concerns, the maid doubted they would run into a lot of trouble. It was more like a vacation in her book.

Once dinner ended, Harold gave the two a quick explanation of what would be expected of them.

During the day, there were plenty of workers about to help keep watch. It was really only at night they'd need assistance. The large quantities of food harvested so far had been stored inside the barn - And the stock meant for sale at the market the following morning would always be sitting outside, covered, in a large cart. Their main concern was that barn. Keep it locked, keep it safe, and keep an eye out on the fields around them.

"Be careful you two! Please, if you need anything at all, don't be afraid to ask. Wake me up if need be!" Crystal told them, offering a small wave as she went back inside. "Well, time to get to work!" Sophie remarked, her tone cheerful. The sky had cleared, and the stars were so bright it almost made the lanterns they had unnecessary.  However, a chilling breeze still rolled through ever so often."You know, I get home sick all the time." Sophie stated as they approached the barn. It was large, and worn looking, just like the majority of things Sophie';s parents owned. Green vines slithered up every wall of it. "Part of it has to do with that!" She pointed toward the stars. "It's as if we're looking at a completely different sky over here." Sophie continued to look up for few moments, taking it all in. Her eyes trailed downward, scanning about the fields and even past them. Outside the farmland, it was nothing but trees. While it kept the farm nice and private, it also left them with a lot of weak points. Bandits, wolves, they could come from just about any direction. "Ah um, but anyway! How do you think we should go about this? I think the highest point would be on top of the barn itself." Sophie suggested. An old ladder was leaned against the barn. It looked sturdy enough to use, but was covered in dirt from sitting for so long. "I've never really done a patrol kind of thing, so I imagine this is more your style." Sophie said with a laugh.

Crystal nodded as she listened to Ryine tell his story. "It sounds like you've done a lot of fighting in your time! I'm glad to have someone like you here to help." She complimented. "There's more to life than just fighting though!" Crystal told him, her pointer finger swaying from side to side disapprovingly. Sophie eye'd her mother, suddenly feeling the need to be on guard.

"So, when are you two having babies? I'm tired of waiting for grandchildren Sophie!" Crystal prodded. Sophie's mother was smiling while she said it, but the words were no joke.

Sophie nearly choked on a carrot. A light clink of metal could be heard as her fork hit the table.  "M-mother!" Sophie yelped in surprise. She had a feeling the topic would head in that direction, but not in such a blunt way. Harold rolled his eyes and continued eating as if the conversation wasn't happening.

"I'm serious Sophie! It's not just for us you know. It's about time you settled down and started a little family, don't you think? You've already landed a handsome warrior, you should get to it before you're too old~." Her mother continued. Sophie's cheeks were a light shade of pink as she glanced over at Ryine. "Sorry about my mother." She apologized, laughing nervously. "I brought Ryine because he's strong! Not because we're together, you should know that!" Sophie argued. "This happens every time I bring someone over..." Sophie mumbled under her breath.

Sophie's mother smiled warmly, and gestured for the duo to follow her inside. "Dinner will be ready soon. Head over to the table with your father, Sophie. I'll go finish preparing. And please, make yourself at home Ryine." Crystal told them. She then wandered off to the kitchen.

Sophie made her way to the table as suggested, assuming Ryine would follow suite. Already waiting was her father. It was easy to see his demeanor wasn't quite as cheerful as Sophie and her mother's. He didn't smile at first, he simply sat quietly as they entered. He seemed much older than Crystal, his wrinkles more apparent, his skin a similar tanned shade. Despite the intimidating look, Sophie showed no hesitation in giving him a quick hug from behind. "Hello papa~. I missed you!" She told him with a smile. He gave her a small pat on the hand before she let go and moved to a seat. "Welcome home, dear." He responded. He smiled slightly, but it faded quickly. He glanced for a moment in Ryine's direction. "This is Ryine papa. Ryine, this is papa Harold! Ryine will be helping protect the harvest!" Sophie explained. She patted the seat next to her, suggesting that the warrior take a seat. "Is that so? I hope you have a good handle on that sword of yours." Her father said. His tone seemed rather serious. Sophie laughed a little nervously. "Don't be silly papa, Ryine is a great warrior! If I was to trust someone with a sword, it would be him." She retorted.

"I hope you're all hungry~." Crystal said as she entered the room. She had a pot in hand, filled with stew. She left and returned once more with freshly baked bread and corn. It looked as if she'd cooked a few days worth of meals. She sat herself beside Harold. "Waah it looks so good!" Sophie said excitedly. Crystal laughed, her attention turning to Ryine. "So, please, tell me a little about yourself great warrior." Crystal said as she buttered the bread.

Just like Sophie had said, the walk didn't last much longer. The sun had only just begun to set, although it was hard to tell with how clouded the sky was. "There it is! Home sweet home!" A couple of small lights could be seen in the distance - Lanterns, that had been hanging from her parents porch. Sophie's pace quickened as they neared.

Although the house was small, the fields were enormous. At first glance all one could really make out were the incredibly tall corn stalks. They dominated a great portion of the field. However,  further on down the row they'd be able to make out the other various vegetables that had been growing, which gave a nice pop of color against the greens. It was easy to see now why her parents were in need of some help. A couple of workers could be seen off in the distance, packing the last of their harvest that day into the barn. It was nice to know her parents had gotten help with the harvesting as well that year. The crops were getting bigger, and her parents a bit older.

Before they had even reached the door an older woman made her appearance on the front porch. "Sophie!" She called out. As they approached, it was easier to make out the woman's appearance. Long, dark brown hair was tied back in a braid - streaks of grey twisted in with the darker strands. Her eyes were almost as dark as her hair - It was all a stark contrast compared to Sophie's golden locks and bright green eyes. "Mommmy~". Sophie had called back as the two embraced.

"This is Ryine! You asked for a warrior, so I brought you one." Sophie said, gesturing toward her guild mate with a giggle. "This is my mom, Crystal." She introduced the two. Her mother stepped forward, offering Ryine her hand. "It's nice to meet you, brave warrior!" She said, half jokingly. It was obvious who Sophie got her personality from. Crystal's hands were quite rough, her skin was dark and a bit wrinkled from the sun. However, despite all of this, she was quite beautiful.

Sophie nodded. Ryine was right, the canopy was pretty thick in most areas. As long as they stayed on the trail they'd stay dry enough.

Sophie had done this walk alone at least a hundred times. Not so much recently, but, she'd often take the food to market when she was younger. It was safer then, for the most part. Their crops were small, so thieves and other bandits didn't bother keeping them on their radar. Of course, there was that one unfortunate time she did get noticed. Despite how stressful it was, the memory made her smile. That was when she first met her wonderful paladin friend and Ryine.

"Oh, it's not too far really. An hour, I think....We've been walking for at least...Oh, I don't know, fourty minutes? We're pretty close!" She told him. Sophie pulled her coat closer against her, a chilly wind brushing through the leafs. She wore her uniform, like usual, but also felt it was necessary to bundle up a bit this time. "By the time we get there, my mother should have dinner ready! She taught me how to cook you know~. I'm not sure I'll ever be as good as her...I do try, though." She also took note of the lantern Ryine had brought along. In her own back pack was a similar lantern. If they kept their current pace, they'd be there just before nightfall though, so the lights likely wouldn't be necessary. "Uhm, Ryine, just so you know..." she paused, as if trying to find the right words. "My parents can be a little...straight forward? I am really sorry if they are uh...." she paused yet again. "If they make you uncomfortable, I mean." She laughed at her own words. He would find out soon enough what she meant.

"Ahnyu. Inya eesnyu ouynya!" Her eyes flicked about the room, her tail still - Her ears perked in pure concentration. She had been watching it for quite some time now. It moved so quickly, almost unpredictably...Truly, it was fascinating. Many people had passed, gazing curiously in the same direction. The majority rolled their eyes, or laughed. "Ohnya.." It was moving again, it-....! "NYAN!" It was almost in her grasp! It had gone almost low enough for her to pounce it! The golden haired feline flung herself into the air, quickly swiping her paws about in hopes of catching it. But, no, she had missed!

Her once still tail swayed and twitched. It would be hers, there was no stopping now. Nyaoko took off in a full sprint - nothing around her mattered, not until it was in her grasp! A few people gave confused glances as the cat skillfully weaved around the crowd. "aitwnyu!" She exclaimed as it carefully navigated into the common room. Now. Now was the moment. It had let down its guard.

Nyaoko flung herself into the room, once again her paws reached out, her tail extended. She plopped onto the floor, belly first, her paws out in front of her, face down. She stared quietly for a moment, her heart racing with anticipation. If she lifted her paws...would her prize be there...? Carefully, she turned them over, a squished fly revealing itself. Nyaoko laughed quietly to herself. Victory!

((This roleplay is for Ryine and Sophie. Others are welcome to join if they have ideas, but please talk to me first! ^ u^  ))

// Dearest Sophie,

It's been a while since your father and I have had you come and visit. I know you've been busy, I've gathered as much from the letters Mimic brings us. We don't really understand him in the way you seem to, but we'er always excited to see him.  As you know, it's almost time for us to begin harvesting the crops. The Gods of harvest must have been looking after us this year, things are the best they have ever been. However, your father and I have a favor to ask. While we are happy to see the farm grow, we also know it brings trouble. We were hoping you could bring a friend along, one of those strong warriors you always speak of. If you have time, maybe the two of you could watch over as we harvest. It would be at least a few days stay, up to a week, if need be. You won't need to help in the fields, just watching the stock at night would be most appreciated. Don't worry, we'll pay you and your friends for your time. As a bonus, you'll also get home cooked meals! I'm sure you miss that, right?

Love, a proud mother ♥
//

Sophie had packed the letter safely into her top drawer, just as she did with any letter her parents sent. It was rare for them to ask favors of her, but she knew very well how important it was for them to safely finish harvesting, and moving their crops to market. She used to help do it, after all. Sophie was quick to respond, sending Mimic out with another letter. She told him to go ahead and stay there, since she'd be heading that way soon anyway. Mimic loved the family farm. It was endless amounts of his favorite foods. Every time he came back to the Guild, it seemed as if the familiar had gained a pound or two.

Sophie had decided pretty quickly who'd she'd drag along for the little journey - Someone she'd grown to enjoy traveling with a lot, due to his positive energy and strong personality. Ryine!

"Oh, gosh, it's a little gloomy today, don't you think?" Sophie remarked as her and Ryine trekked through the forest trail. It hadn't started raining, but clouds hung ominously above them, threatening a downpour at any moment.

Mission Board (IC) / Re: [Open]A Missing Heirloom
December 17, 2015, 12:00:28 AM
"Hnnnnn!" Sophie's arms reached skyward as she stretched, her bright eyes fluttering open. A warm light washed across her bed, letting her know it was time to get up. For the first time in a while, Sophie had taken a day off. "Morning mimic~". The maid said cheerfully, hearing the rustling of feathers as her familiar hopped across her sheets, and up toward her pillow. "I'm hungry." Was the only response she received. With a giggle, Sophie brushed the covers aside, Making her way over to the closet.

Having gotten ready for the day, Sophie made her way downstairs, Mimic sitting comfortably on her shoulder. She nodded to various guild mates as she passed by, most wishing her a fun and restful day off. Her first goal of the day was to go shopping for some corn, though. While the kitchen was generally open to her at all times, she liked to keep a personal stash in her room just for her little crow.

However, a little something caught her eye. "Oh look mimic, a new mission!" Sophie said, watching as an unfamiliar woman posted a new note. "Should we check it out?" She glanced at Mimic. "Food, Sophie." He responded. Sophie rolled her eyes, making her way over to the board despite her familiar's one track mind. The woman had already left before she made it there, though. "Lets see..." Sophie quickly scanned over the message. "Oh, silly thieves! Always such trouble!" Sophie thought, remembering her own thief related ordeals. It was a common issue when your family owned a farm. She smiled, a bit of excitement welling up at the thought of joining her guild mates in a mission once again. She was scared of being a bit rusty, but had faith she'd be of some help.

"Yeah, lets do it Mimic!" Sophie said.
Mimic sighed.
"Ok, ok, but food first."

The maid went off to the market, grabbing a bit of breakfast before preparing for her journey to the Whitfield estate.

"Oh, yes! That goes over there! Mhm, that looks fine. Oh....maybe more salt?" Sophie had been busy the past few days. Although it wasn't quite time for the feast - preparations needed to happen days in advance. Considering the amount of people in the guild hall seemed to be forever increasing, she'd have a lot of mouths to impress!

The maid smiled, wiping a small bead of sweat from her forehead. It was tiring work, but so worth it! She could already imagine the looks of pure bliss as people but into....well, one would normally expect turkeys, but, Sophie had to be creative this year. She couldn't help but feel a tad depressed. She'd come to be an expert with turkeys - the amount slaughtered the years before had given her much practice! Together with her team of cooks, they'd created what she considered the most beautiful feasts in existence! But, alas, she'd found other meat to prepare. Rather than sticking with one kind, the maid had opted for giving her guild mates a variety. Chicken, ham, steak. There would be something out there for just about everyone!

"Oh!" Sophie nearly dropped the stirring spoon she'd been fiddling with, when a familiar voice boomed through the halls. "I'll be back, I'm going to take a little break~." Sophie excused herself as she pushed past the kitchen door. She fanned herself off, her cheeks red from the heat. Making her way toward the noisy warrior, she was happy to find the ever so excitable Ryine.

It had been a while since the maid adventured with the others. It wasn't just the feast keeping her busy - Things in general had kept her off the battle field. With so much to clean, and cook, the guilds needs had become a full time job! She'd even taken to giving newcomers tours of the guild hall. While she missed navigating dungeons, and chasing after foes, she still felt a sense of accomplishment knowing her guild mates would always be well taken care of once they returned home. "Worry not, Ryine! I'll make sure whatever meat you desire (besides turkey), will be present at the feast, just for you!" Sophie interjected. She listed off a few of the current options, also throwing in a few of the deserts she'd been working on.

Tales of the Guild (IC) / Re: Best Way to Serve
January 24, 2015, 12:50:06 PM
Sophie watched the giant carefully as he took hold of the broom. This would be his first test - Would he be able to adapt? Golas was the strong, ruthless type. The maid couldn't help but wonder if he really had the ability to take on the gentleness required of maids and butlers.

*Swish, swoosh*

She smiled brightly, clapping her hands quick but lightly, as Golas succeeded in taking in what she had taught just moments ago. "That's great, Golas!" She praised.

"Ehm..." She coughed, her more stern side taking over again. "While sweeping is an incredibly important part of our job, so is taking care of our guild mates!" Sophie explained. "In fact, that comes even before sweeping." She flipped a page or two into the book. A sketchy picture enveloped half of the page. It looked as though she'd attempted to draw the dining room, but her perspective was way off...causing the table to look as if it was hallway up the wall. Child like drawings of forks and spoons also littered the page. "We can do that in three main ways, Golas. You'll always find more ways to do a good job, but if you ever need guidance, just remember these basics!"

At the bottom of the page were three bullet points.

  • "Kleening"
  • "Kichen"
  • "Happy"

Surprisingly, she had managed to spell one thing correctly.

"Cleaning is a part of taking care of the guild mates!" She nodded to the broom. "A clean home is a happy home. We want them to be happy at all times." She told him. "But, we already kind of covered sweeping and stuff, so..."

Moving onto the next point, she opened the broom closet door. "Next on the list is the kitchen~". She became cheerful Sophie again as the word kitchen left her lips. The maid motioned for Golas to follow yet again, leading him to the dining room. It was fairly quiet that day, a few guild mates here and there enjoying a meal and conversation. "I don't think we should start you off cooking, but it's best you learn serving." With almost a skip in her step, she made her way to the kitchen entrance - but stopped before going inside.

"Listen Golas...No, touching, anything." She warned, sending him a serious look. "There's a lot of food in there, but it's for the guild mates! Right now, you're a butler. It's your duty to take care of their needs, not your own!" Her warning mainly came from a fear of how much self control Golas actually had. If this was going to work, he'd need to resist the temptations of the guild's wonderful, fantabulous, amazing smelling meats and baked goods.
