Lynne examined the battlefield, there wasn't too much she could do to have Honeydew get over to attack the one she ideally wanted to hit first, but they had to do something. Honeydew! Admittedly, battling other trainers was not something she usually excelled at but she couldn't let it stop her now. Not when Lynne needed her help. Collette pursed her lips in thought before working out a plan of attack herself. "Alright pretty girl! Follow Honeydew and use Confuse Ray!" As soon as the words left her mouth her Vulpix bolted forward, stopping just shy of Lynne's Oddish, before casting her own attack at the Shinx before them.

Dan wasn't certain what he would be up against later on, nor which Pokemon Grey had chosen to fight with, but he knew that personally the Vulpix was a issue. Once they were in range, he pulled the trigger, taking his chance.

"Bolt, dash up to that Vulpix and hit it with a spark!"
