Trading Post & Community Store

A trading post/flea market which trainers and regular folk alike can meet to buy, sell, and trade a wide variety of items. Items can have been used items, new items, low quality items, high quality items, or anywhere in between. Sellers can ask for a set price and let buyers haggle, they can "auction", or they can actually trade the items for other items. If they do not want to wait for other trainers to pick up on the deal, they can auto sell the item to the Trading Post for 50% of what it is worth. Items sold to the trading post itself go into the Community Store, a second-hand shop that often sells its items at lower prices.

Pokémon may NOT be traded, bought, and sold here. Such business is to be conducted at the Pokémon Trading Center.

Have a service to offer other trainers? Maybe you can make Pok?balls out of apricorns, or better yet, fix any broken Pok?ball. Perhaps you are so good at what you do that you can identify almost any Pok?mon egg. Maybe you have very useful medical knowledge or maybe you can offer "investigative" services. Whatever it is that you can do and others can't, feel free to set up a service shop! Don't have time to run hang around and run your shop all day? Check in with the services stand and they'll add you and your services to the list.

Being a busy person, Letina did not have time to set up a stall and wait for people to come to her. Instead, she had taken the time to make up a nice looking poster to hang up on the bulletin board for those who offered services. She was a Pokémon breeder, so she could offer to help others breed their own Pokémon. She could also identify any Pokémon egg, with the exclusion of legendary Pokémon. Surely someone would have a use for her skills and knowledge.

The exchange center was rife with the vile slithering tramps and their obsession with carefully inspecting each item when they knew they were probably not going to buy it. The undeniably superior THANE could hardly bear to grace them with his dazzlingly opulent presence, but alas, against all odds, he had found himself quite low on money. Fortunately, his many hours of investment at the Mauville Game Corner left him with several items he could sell for even more money than he had put into the gambling to acquire them. Instantly, he had discovered that this could leave him with profits of untold proportions. He would unfortunately have to start low ? quite the embarrassing position for someone as incontrovertibly fantastic as he ? but he knew that, with time and effort, his wealth would grow exponentially. All according to plan, he would use his new wealth to rule the world with an iron fist!

"Yes!" he was practically standing on the table as he roared his speech as articulately as possible, "Come, my stupendous little morsels! You're treasure awaits! The noble and infinitely gracious THANE, in all his uncontested splendor and generosity, offers untold riches to those who would take advantage of his ludicrously discounted prices! You would be a fool not to buy from this shop. Equipment and consumables of wonder and amazement that can only be found here will ensure your limitless satisfaction!"

Indeed he went on and on, talking up his splendid little shop as if it were the most unequivocally fantastic thing to ever exist in this universe. And indeed he would be inclined to believe such a bold claim if it weren't for his very own existence. The shop would perhaps have to settle for second place. He was sure that his hamtastic voice, which could be be heard echoing through the facility, would gather the attention of potential customers far and wide. In no time at all, he would expect crowds of rabid buyers frothing at the mouths for a chance to so much as look at a single one of the simply divine items he had for sale. And indeed that was exactly what they should do, for each of these objects had been graced with the unfathomably superb hands of none other than the wholly perfect THANE. He would expect no less than to sell out his entire shop in mere minutes.

"..." Miera stood, watching the people interacting. Some showed off their "wares" while others looked over what people offered. The girl did not really want to be there, but she did not want to continue carting around these mushrooms that she had no use for. She did not even know very much about mushrooms. The two she had, one was significantly larger than the other. That was about all she could tell. She had not bothered to try finding out what exactly they were. She had promised to make something special for Truffles with the mushrooms if he joined her team, but decided she would do something else instead after coming to the conclusion that giving a food made with mushrooms would make the Shroomish cannibals. She did not want cannibalistic Pok?mon. Maybe she would find something the two Shroomish would like and be able to trade the mushrooms for it.

"..." The girl moved closer to an individual who was browsing some wares. If she was going to sell these things, then she had to do something. Standing there watching people would not get her anywhere. "Would you like to buy some mushrooms?"

Indigo River

Ah! Indigo's favorite place to buy and sell! He much rather preferred the open trading post to stuffy buildings of regular shops. He had come here with one major goal in mind: to get rid of the awful piece of technology that Esti had found whilst collecting nectar from flowers. While he was against using such an item himself, simply throwing it back to where it was found would not do much. For one, that would be littering and littering was a sin against nature. For two, someone would probably pick it up and use it eventually. He might as well collect it and make some money off of it. Make people pay for their sin against nature.

He also had an item that he did not mind so much, a natural supplement of Iron. It was something he had mixed feelings about. Iron rose defense a bit, and natural defense was something both of his Pok?mon were naturally good with. So it would benefit one of them to give it to them. However, there was a chance he could trade it for something just as good. He figured he might as well see what he could get out of it before using it.

Quickly, he set up a small table in which to display the two items.

Although hating to use the Pokédex had had in his possession, Indigo signed up at the Trading Post to be listed for on-call apricot ball crafting services. All someone had to do was give him a call and set up meeting times for him to pick up the berries they wanted turned into balls and for picking up the balls when he finished.
