The whole area was pitch black as you heard the groaning and rumbling of the arena morphing as it usually does. The announcers had mentioned that the arena will be larger and simpler than the previous ones, and you wondered what exactly that would mean. Soon enough however, the darkness cleared out, and before you was a large and dusty arena. Unlike in previous matches where the announcers and the audience were hidden from view, this time around you can see the spectators as well as hear the announcers' booming voices.

There were thousands in the audience, and though the arena was still smaller than the breadth of the entire arena, it was still pretty large, at least compared to the previous ones. If you were to estimate it was about twice as long as before.

"Another round! We'll see who between the Two and a Half Men and the League of Extraordinary Merchants will make it to the finals!"

"Who do you think will win? Cheer for your favorites! Is it Two and a Half Men?" A roar of approval came from the crowd.

"Or the merchants who deal in DEATH!"

Nyuko Nyun

Nyuko didn't waste any time, and he pulled out both of his blades, triggering the command word to activate their abilities. His first weapon burst into a white glow as frost seemed to crawl up the length of the blade, while his second weapon sparkled in a blaze of electricity. He began to drag his first weapon on the ground as bits of frost began to appear on the dirt - frozen from the very touch of the blade. His arms and body reaching out and in a fluid motion he arced his weapon, drawing on the sandy floor, creating a half circle in front of him. In another moment his body began to twist as he pumped his legs. In another moment after that his other weapon began the same motions as Nyuko began to whirl around with both of his blades outstretched around him. His blades began to hit the dirt every so often in the mesmerizing show.

He began a rhythmic dance with both of his claw-blades whirling around him as he continued to twirl his body. Soon enough, a pattern of frozen arches started to appear around him, while his other weapon created a show of light and dazzling lightning that surrounded him.

When he finally finished he looked up towards their opponents, his eyes locking on to one particular figure, Serena. She had taught him a lot about sword-play, and though he knew Serena had already seen that dance, it was the first time he did it with both of his blades activated.

Nyuko would be going up against his own mentor. But if there was anything Serena had taught him, it was always to put on a show.

And a show he would give.

Serena
Serena never was the type to go about performing for others unless it was with the trope or in the process of prayer but these people wanted a show so it might as well be a good one.  Undoing her many lengths of prayer beads she began doing several katas from her god. Like an elegant dance these flips and tricks are meant to move the spirit and center the soul. her long crimson necklace curving around her as if she was doing some kind of areal gymnastics.

Grey
Grey on the other hand was doing similar acrobatic tricks with his whip and his sword making sure that his handiwork was easily visible to as many people in the crowd. His name as a craftsman was still not that well known within the city and this kind event with this many eyes was great publicity. If he did well here it meant that many more customers in the long run looking to see what else he had.

Extra

As the two performed a large boom of voices could be heard from the crowd. Kryas stood in the crowds waving some kind of pompoms like an over excited conductor at an orchestra leading his entire side of the stadium in a chant as magical banners waved and explosions occurred over head. "Go! Musical Merchants". The banner's were of Grey's shop logo of a blade and lantern in front of a silver unicorn head. The other a full moon being cradled by hand. The bard was whipping the crowd into a frenzy of support as best he can

Ryine looked to his teammates, then looked across the arena to the enemies. "Are these guys sure they're in the right place? I thought the arena was a place to clash blades, not play shopkeeper. Oh well, Eclipse! Let's do this. With that, Ryine leapt into the air with a twirling flip and his blade attempted to light up in a fancy pattern to impress the crowd.

Lance

"Play shopkeeper..?"

The armored merchant slowly reiterated from across the stadium, clearly peeved by the statement spoken so offhandedly by the opposing team. Shop-keeping wasn't a game; it was an art! It was the harbinger of legends and the embodiment of true men. In fact, one was not even considered a man until one owned his very own shop!

To believe otherwise, to speak otherwise, or to even hear otherwise...

Thus, Jin quickly pulled out item after item from his adventurer's pack with long practiced grace, lauding their virtues, shouting their prices, and boisterously letting the whole stadium know that they can only be found in one particular place.

He continued as the cheers rose up, persevered over the many fluctuations in the crowd, and otherwise kept at it until the cheers long since died and the stadium was filled with naught but dubious silence.

Jin smugly grinned.

Today, he would show them the TRUE meaning of shop-keeping.

Two and a Half Men
When Nyuko showed the dazzling display of his two swords the crowd applauded and even cheered. It wasn't the best they've seen, but it was still a sight to see. Ryine attempted to follow up, but he only had a lackluster show, and the crowd continued to clap as normal, though not entirely impressed by the spectacle.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Serena display of beads had the crowd entertained, though not as enthusiastic as the first performance. Grey on the other hand garnered more attention with his combination of the sword and whip. Lastly, as Jin proceeded to 'show' his amazing appraising skills, most of the crowd simply did not get it, and only scratched their heads wondering what was supposed to be entertaining.

Grey cracked his whip loudly against the ground making the individual scale like blades stretch and shift. Bringing it up and running his other hand still holding across its length the entire implement began to sputter and spark. Electricity coursed through all of it stinging the air with ozone. He ran forward thirty feet like a bat out hell streaks of plasma dramatically behind him covering his right arm in a dramatic fashion.

He looked at the young feline boy with a cold clinical gaze. Already in Merchant mode he stricked down without another thought.

Garret
You moved forward, bringing your whip to attack. However, even though your blow landed directly on Nyuko and catching him flat-footed, the angle wasn't enough, and the attack bounced off of Nyuko's armor.
