Hasabushi,

It deleted all the members actually. XD Only ones saved from it were:

Me, you, Admin, Lightspeed15, and KainBoodbane.

Basically just the admins.

How dare you have off-topic discussions on my hello thread! Guards, throw him in the dungeon!

Under the Bard's Tree / Milk's current project!
July 13, 2013, 05:28:13 AM
I'm currently working on a game with my friend (he's programming it, I'm spriting the pixels) and i decided to show you some of the progress I've made with the graphics! Constructive criticism is welcome! (but that doesn't mean i'll go and change it!)

Here are the current classes:

And here is a preview of a map i whipped up in rpg maker using the tileset i made. (this isn't an actual map, and we're not using rpg maker for the game)

General Discussion / House Death

I finished making my game! House Death 4 or better known as simply House Death is the reboot of a series from long ago which i have lost the data for, so consider this the first house death :D. The game is a puzzle game made in rpg maker vx, where you examine things to advance to the next stage on a journey to find your house.

I uploaded it to an indie game site that's currently in beta and although it has a great selection of games i managed to get front page! i am truly stunned.

here's the page you can download it from and you'll also find the controls here (and i forgot to mention in the controls that shift lets you sprint)

Enjoy guys!  (panda)

Lol, can't believe I never got around to doing this. But do we actually have an official house death thread that copies another thread on this forum?

Yes I'm a royal glass of dairy beverage with frequent periods of long inactivity, but hey, I should still take something that's not truly mine.

Who I am
I'm just an individual with the same interests as some people on this forum. I've been alive for around 21 years now. Amateur game dev, stealing stories, some roleplaying, gaming 8D, are just some of the things I do. I at least want to start pushing my game out faster. I have nothing against the original thread this pokes fun at, but I'm too lazy to write my own paragraphs.

The request
I know we already have played a few of my earlier releases. But let's make it a competition of a sort. Try to get everyone involved and see if we can get past level 3. Plus though we can play the older games, I'd like this game to be the reboot of the series. I'll get on to the details.

The judges
The judges will be Milk of FWC. Excluding everyone else. However, we'll also put it up to a vote for the public. I'll have the final word, but the response from everyone else will make me think a little.

The reward
Winners: You can win a copy of the house death game upon its release... Who knows when that will be!

House Death 4! (or just House Death) is the reboot of a series of games i made that are no longer with us... I seem to have misplaced my data. So far its still in the works, but i decided to release a demo of it today, for all of you who couldn't sit still with anticipation!

Behold! In all its glory, i present.....   House Death the demo!

controls are

arrow keys to move
space/enter to examine things, advance through text, etc.
esc to open the menu
F12 to reset
alt+enter is for fullscreen/windowed

North, It's the superior direction.

But yeah I'm fine with it. You have my permission to conduct this business of moving and whatnot if that is what you so desire.

And don't count Something Inc out of the picture yet! You make be looking at a new house death this year! (since i seem to have lost the data for my previous entries)

I walk through the doorway that's in front of me and suddenly crash into what i am already familiarized with as Jorn's bottom. I staggered to my feet, cursing quietly as i did so, and was about to ask Jorn as to why he had decided to park himself in front of the doorway, but then i spotted the spider. This time it appeared to be a lot more lively then the dispatched one in the previous room. I quickly get into position.
i move 1 tile above Jorn's current position
and proceed in casting Jelly Arrow.

I proceed down the corridor and attempt to catch up with the rest of the group, hoping the others will do the same. As i enter the room with Ryine, Jorn, and Saendal, i notice the remains of what used to be a giant spider. guess I'm a tad late, I thought, but then i noticed the skeletal dog standing next to the remains. I yelped in surprise and immediately readied my Jelly to attack!

I suddenly heard a yell from behind me. I turned around quickly and spotted a dwarf with his foot stuck, and started toward him with the attention of setting him free, but after a moment i remembered that dwarves hated goblins. I stopped where i was, sat down, and decided to brainstorm. I could free him from his predicament, but what if he attacked me while my back was turned? I could just leave him there, but then my companions would think lesser of me and might even turn on me themselves. That's when it hit me! Jorn didn't hesitate to help me up, despite me being a goblin. Maybe i should place the same trust in the rest of them, like they did with me. Realizing that I had sat on a pile of bones i sprang to me feet and then continued toward the unlucky dwarf. I cast jelly flavor turning the web the flavor of raspberry jelly and proceed to eat it. It was sticky, and hard to swallow... I'm gonna have a stomachache in the morning.
