Messages - Golas Rorn

#1
The large man laughed jovially at first, but his mirth was quickly taken away when his opponent just disappeared. That didn't sit well at all with the large man.

"Fight me like a real man!" Golas called out as he sheathed his weapon and drew his bow. He had his mount rush to the corner of the arena as well.

Move: Sheathe
Move: Draw bow

Kannor:
Double move or run action all the way east.

Also, what is the distance to the opponent, or start of the darkness?[/info]

The large man roared in laughter as he looked towards the two announcers who were trying to say something, but their voices simply not carrying any sounds. The floating disk that Kryas had summoned was large enough for the two of them, though Golas had to admit, it was a tight fit for him, and he had to make it a point not to move too much. The bard had managed to convince him to be guest-announcer with him, and though Golas wasn't quite as interested, he did owe Kryas.

"Golas Rorn! Handsomest and strongest in the guild of Galas'nor!" The large man proclaimed boldly as his voice was carried throughout the arena. He was supposed to introduce the fighters below, but the large man couldn't help it. He grinned as he considered the bard beside him.

"And Kryas! The second handsomest and strongest in all of the guild!" He roughly thumped Kryas on the back with one hand, while the other waved at the cheering crowds below them.

He knew most of the guild members down below who were about to duke it out and he himself was curious to see which side would win. But Golas knew that this was more than just the winners, this would be a show of skill and entertainment as well.

With the announcers behind them completely silenced, the opportunity was given to Golas and Kryas to start the fight. He saw the many guild members both in the audience looking expectantly up towards them. This was a tournament made for the Guild of Galas'nor after all, and what better way to show it than have the two most charming men of the guild to introduce it.

He grinned a knowing smile at Kryas.

The large man grinned as he began moving his mount towards the cat. He had his sword out, and with creature being so small, he would have to almost bend down to swing at it, but it wasn't something unmanageable.

"Alright Kannor." Golas said patting his horse as he stooped down lower on his mount, as well urging the horse to go faster.

"BUAHAHAHAHA!" The large man laughed heartily as he eyed his opponent from a top his horse. He had expected some sort of large beast, but instead it was a puny cat.

He had been told before the first fight was a cat, a spunky little one that had a habit of flying in your face and scratching it. To be perfectly honest, Golas didn't think something like a cat should be in something like this arena. Teleportation badge or no.

He shrugged as he pulled out his sword.

The large man kept watch as the wisps of smoke dissipated revealing their targets they they had to flirt with. He quickly glanced at the rest of the 'companions' that were summoned for the contestants. Almost all of them were inanimate things, but he did notice one particularly beautiful red-haired woman sitting across that cat-boy. He half a mind to switch seats, but it didn't take Golas long to understand the gist of it all. A moment later he began to laugh his deep and boisterous laugh.

"BUAHAHAHAHAHA!" He roared as he stared at the meat golem in front of him. He vividly remembered a previous meat golem he had encountered before in the city, so he had at first instantly recoiled upon seeing this creature in front of him. But the moment that deep and succulent aroma assaulted his nose, he paused. Immediately the large man stopped laughing, and almost unconsciously, licked his lips.

He didn't know whether to actually try to win in this ridiculous contest and flirt with it, or simply eat it.

"You have soft hands... milady." Golas began, picking up and holding the creatures hand - it was a succulent brown, not to mention it looked so very soft. Golas had to agree it was cooked to perfection.

All of a sudden he bit into it.

Flirting with it, or eating it?

Golas had no regrets.

He chose the latter.

"BUAHAHAHA!" A large man laughed loudly as he went on stage next. His bulging muscles beneath his worn leather armor and crimson cloak, he posed for all to see.

"BUAHAHAHAHAHA!" A large, deep, booming voice resounded out through out the marquee. It was Golas Rorn. He had heard news of this so-called flirting contest, and the large man was more than curious about the event. Flirting with girls? He was never really good at it, and had even tried to get Kryas to help him in those goals of his, but in the end he continued to be awkward around them.

Well, except for Annia. Golas was fine with talking with her, but she didn't count.

"The handsomest and strongest in the guild of Galas'nor shall win this contest!" He roared in his boisterous laughter.

The box had some weight, and if you were to guess was about 35 pounds. The wrapping was almost haphazardly done, and as a result was easy to remove. Soon enough the wrapping paper was gone, and the box opened to reveal the contents. Inside looked to be some sort of armor. It was well-made, and the aura that you felt earlier came from the piece.

"BUAHAHAHAHA! Now this is what I call a festival. Food!" The large man's appetite was ready. After all, he'd been waiting the entire day just for this specific event. Last year was glorious. And as he waited for the food to be delivered, he sincerely hope the chefs were as great as they were the year before.

The large man only roared in laughter as the brown storm of dung shattered and dispersed on everyone. He took a deep breath of manure as he went about cleaning his cloak.

"You can have all the dung you want!" Golas replied, his eyes searching out for the small fairy in their guild. "I have my eyes on something greater." He grinned as he recalled the crimson cloak that came from the first box Callista had opened. In fact, the cloak looked almost identical to his own, if not for the lion designs etched on it - which Golas immediately linked to the tattoo he now had.

"Callista!" Golas bellowed. "That cloak's a bit large for such a small missy!"
