Throndir

Throndir

Siadon
House Siadon is a lesser noble family. Their lineage has some elven blood.

Emmeline Siadon
Sister of Annia Siadon. Youngest of the three siblings. 18 during the events of TEP. Should be 19 now.

Name: Emmeline Siadon
Alignment: Lawful Good
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Relatives/Family (optional): Her bloodline is that of nobility. The Siadon family has a small amount of elven blood running through their clan. She has two other siblings, both older. Her eldest brother, Celendel, and her other older sister, Annia.

Personality/Attitude:

For the most part, Emmeline is carefree. She rarely has things that worry her, and if she did have things to worry about, she would immediately talk it out with anyone that would bother to listen. Even if it's some complete stranger out in the middle of the night. She is naive in most things, and can hardly tell if a man had any interests in her.

Background/History:

Yet to be written. Short version: First brother, Celendel rebeliously left, who just disappeared. Sister, Annia, took on the role of becoming a holy knight, a Paladin, which was suppose to be Celendel's role. Emmeline, surrounded by siblings who lead more interesting lives, upon reaching 18 years of age, decided to take on the road as an apprentice after convincing her own parents of the worth of her tutor, Throndir, a so-called and self-proclaimed 'master of the forests'.

Goals:

She has many goals. Among them, staying happy, getting married, becoming famous. But more specifically she wishes to experience what her siblings have. Her brother, Celendel, disappeared, and for the most part they believed him to be living his own life somewhere. Her sister, Annia, a devout follower became a Paladin, who herself lead many travels to various towns and cities to help out in any way the general populace would so desire.

Appearance:

She tries to keep herself in good condition, but with the life she's forced to live, the habits of her mentor has slowly taken affect. However, it's still by far much more neater than her tutor. She doesn't wear any armor at all

Picture:
Height: Average height, shorter than her mentor
Weight: Thin and light, she eats surprisingly a lot, but it never does seem to affect her.
Hair Colour: Blue
Eye Colour: Light brown, different from her siblings who both have blonde colored hair.
Build: Light and slender

Weapons:

She carries with her a knife, much like her mentor, on her side, she also carries a sword, a gift from her sister. Although she isn't very proficient with the weapon, she constantly tries to learn how to wield the weapon. Like her tutor, she has a bow strapped to her back as well. However, it's much shorter than the ranger's, and lighter in weight.

Throndir

Throndir Adelin
Ranger mentor of Emmeline Siadon, and Elizabeth Sterling. 34 during the events of TEP. 35 now. More info on the character sheet at the bottom.

Race: Human
Closest D&D Class: Ranger/Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Good

Personal Information:
Name: Throndir Adelin
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Relatives/Family (optional):
Personality/Attitude:

The man fumbles frequently, and often times people can view him as incompetent and even trivial at times. Many times it takes his own apprentice to keep him in line. But that does not mean that the ranger can't be serious, and when the time calls for it, he lets his introverted side show. He cares deeply for the ones closest to him, and he feels a certain responsibility for the apprentice under his tutelage.

Background/History:

To be written. Short version: At a young age, Throndir was always interested in the nearby forest. Many times, his parents would find him wandering around the trees, and seemingly watching and playing with the woodland creatures that came near. Later, when he was about 20 years of age, he became part of a semi-secret group to stop the occurance of the Gol'raar, which at that time, signs of the creatures stirring was visible. After the Gol'raar was defeated a year ago, Throndir once again headed for the wilds, simply enjoying life.

Goals:

After being dismissed from the semi-secret society he was in, he became a traveller, and simply traveled from town to town. At the moment, he has no definite long-term goal. For the moment, he's currently mentoring a ranger-in-training.

Appearance:

With unkept hair, a short gruffy excuse of a beard, the combination looks just like a regular woodsman. But the similarities stop there. Strapped to his back is a bow, about 5 feet in length, and a small quiver of arrows. His shirt is biege in color, his pants are brown and no other pieces of armor are visible. He wears a dark forest green cloak with a matching hood that he rarely puts on. His leather boots are sturdy, brown in color, and is the usual a woodsman would wear.

When travelling, perched on his shoulder is Lophe, meaning Wood or Trees in the elven language, Shellanth, a companion Hawk, that the ranger trained and cared for when it was still young.

Picture:
Height: Average height
Weight: Average weight
Hair Colour: Faded brown
Eye Colour: Hazelnut brown
Build: Thin but muscular, he carries himself well

Weapons:

Strapped to his back is a bow, about 5 feet in length, and a small quiver of arrows. He carries with him a knife, hidden away on his belt. But he rarely uses the item for actual combat, and is used mostly for survival in the wild.

Throndir

Annia Siadon
Her family, always encouraging her brother Celendel to become a knight, never paid much attention to Annia. Being the middle child, she wasn't given the high hopes given to Celendel, nor the amount of attention given to the youngest, Emmeline. Instead, she's taken to striving hard for things, and never giving up, if only to show the people around her that she does exist. When Celendel disappeared both Annia and Emmeline took it hard. The three were close siblings. After his disappearance, Annia decided to become a knight; to take her brother's place. Her family however, did not care the least of her decision.
Early in her training, she once ventured out alone. She found a strange blade that she had never seen before. (In human terms it would be a katana). After grasping the weapon, a shadow creature appeared (at least in Annia's point of view). She immediately threw down the weapon. Though, she had stopped, and out of curiosity slowly went back. She was young and naive and believed that it would have been courageous if she were to take the weapon and give it to the authorities. Picking up the blade again, the shadow creature appeared, though even though she was afraid she still held on. To her surprise the creature bowed. And to her greater surprise, it talked.
(Link to Elodria/Kirin/Tenai under Realmscape). She found out that the creature had a name and that it came from a different world, though similar to the one she was on. She also found out that his own world was destroyed, and as a last effort, their civilization (very magical), sent many mementos throughout gates that had an essence of themselves. (Sentient artifacts scattered throughout many worlds). In a past life, the shadow creature was once a swordsman, using that very same blade.
Annia, feeling guilty about turning in a person, and knowing that her own culture would probably destroy the seemingly evil blade, instead kept it for herself. The shadow creature wasn't an evil person, and though his form seemed evil, he had his own set of moral guidelines and beliefs. More so than her tutors, trainers, paladins and clerics alike, who were more concerned about memorizing laws, history, and conduct in court, the shadow creature taught her more; morals and blade skills alike.
Every day she would spend time with her new tutor, learning the history and culture of his own world, and learning how to use the strange blade that he had given her. Ever since then she would secretly practice with the blade, and when she was with her official tutors she would switch to her training sword given to her by her tutors. There was one time when she had attempted to use the fighting style during a spar, though she was quickly reprimanded and told not to use "that undisciplined way of fighting".
Years later when she was finally initiated into a Knight of the Golden Dawn, her shadow told her that the reason he was able to exist was because of Annia's life-force. Annia had suspected for awhile, for she always felt weakened when she held the blade, but said that the mentor and friend was well-worth it.
The shadow creature can help Annia in combat, though she feels weakened after. The most common form her shadow takes in combat are an array of tentacle-like shadows. Though they are semi-transparent, they still have physical form and can lift and pick up objects at will. It has a range of 30 feet, though it can be taxing on Annia.

Emmeline is 19, Annia is around 24, Celendel is around 28. Undecided.
