Name: Charlene (Charlie)

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Occupation: Master Chocolatier Sculptor and Candy Maker

Country of Origin: USA

Approximate Origin Earth Year Calendar Date: 2018

Quirk: Enjoys reading really trashy stuff but will never admit it.

Hobbies: Longboarding, binge watching shows, reading, making dumb things out of chocolate

Personality: Charlene, though she introduces herself as Charlie, is borderline obsessive with desserts, particularity making sculptures out of chocolate and hand making hard candies with symbols or pictures of cute animals inside. She's fairly dedicated to her craft but enjoys making stupid things too. She secretly enjoys trashy novels with cliche tropes but will never admit to it. She also enjoys going out to drink more than humanly possible, often challenging people to stupid games and oddly winning most of them. Her friends think she's really steady and strong but Charlie is mostly screaming internally 90% of the time and is the epitome of fake till you make it. She isn't quick to anger but when she gets angry she makes bad decisions.

Intellectual capabilities: Charlie is fairly creative and emotionally strong. She takes criticism well.

Physical capabilities: Charlie is fairly fit, she works out on the regular and and does a lot of tricks on the longboard but like a normal amount. She doesn't do parkour but always wanted to..

Likes: All sorts of foods, going for a cruise on her longboard, watching movies in a movie theater, dogs, nice kitchen knives

Dislikes: People who talk or use their phone during movies in a movie theater, traffic, bad drivers, busted kitchen knives

Strengths: Dedicated

Weaknesses: Terrible at letting people help

Biography: Charlie grew up with what she thought was a normal life but her father was never in her life and so her mother raised her and her three siblings. They were really poor growing up but she didn't know that because she had a fairly rich up bringing. Her siblings grew up to be really rich, becoming a doctor, CEO, and running their own business. Charlie wasn't too far behind being a well known chocolatier and having a popular social media prescence. She never thought much about her life, she was content but always felt...unsatisfied. She isn't quite sure what is missing because she seems to have all she needed. She's always had the worst luck dating and kind of just gave up because it was too much work plus she was working all the time.

Misc: Charlie is fairly well balanced externally but that's because she takes care of controlling her environment and knowing what to expect. She sets herself up for disappointment and always expects the worst so the outcome hopefully isn't as bad as she expects.

Charlie sits on her bed and kicks off her shoes. She lays back with her arms spread out. Her stomach full and her feet sore but she's happy at the prospect of finally going home. She knew France was a great city for food but she never could have imagined how much she learned in a week.

So many ideas ran through her mind and she couldn't wait to bring back her concepts to work.

"Dude, how can you think of cake after literally just eating?" Charlie groans just at the thought of eating more. "Besides your weight is fine. You're fine as hell."

Charlie chuckles as she forces herself to stand and she stretches tall. Exhaling as much air as humanly possible to lighten the load in her belly.

"The manager was a jerk but did you see that crazy chocolate sculpture they had though?"

Regardless of her previous comment, she does eye the cake with mild want.

Ardeth rushed forward drawing her longsword. It wasn't much of a surprise that there were still hobgoblins left but why they stayed would be something she can figure out later.

"Whatever the reason for the attack, they certainly got what they came for. Absolutely nothing of value left behind." Ardeth came back to the group with a shrug. Anyone with eyes could see the obvious. She pointed towards the south of the road. "They came from over there. It's where they camped out waiting. The branches higher up in the trees above are broken from what I could see."

She turned back towards Kynnstitia, which was a mouthful to say, and then looked at their new companion, with an amiable smile. Well as much as one could given the situation before turning her attention to Kynn.

"If you'd like to borrow my horse back into town, you may. I want to take a closer look at the possible hideout area these hobgoblins used. Maybe we can find where they ran off to."

She wanted to get right to it. There wasn't anything left of the wreckage that would help identify anything they already knew. With Kynn's retelling, it just confirmed everything she guessed already. She just hoped that the attack was just for the goods and not for any ulterior motives.

Without waiting for anyone else, she started heading to the south side of the road.

"Well, this could be fun...maybe."

Ardeth glanced back at her comrades and gave them a grin. Whatever was up with the egg, she wasn't sure but it would be amusing at least. Now she was thinking about breakfast and how great eggs and bacon sounded with some toast and-

Tournament. Right, she was in a fight. There was a lightning barrier that would be painful and most definitely wasn't stationary.

"Try not to get knocked out so fast." It was said more for herself than them but they didn't need to know that.

She cast Mirror Image. That'll give her teammates some cover.

Ardeth hopped out of the back of Katrias' wagon. The smell was enough to let her know that they were close to their destination but it was even more pungent upon arrival.

She wrinkled her nose as the smell of burning flesh filled her nostrils. She wandered around near where the arrows struck, hoping that maybe the angles would give her a better understanding of the shooters.

"I've run into a couple hobgoblins on a few Silver Arms missions, actually." Ardeth replied with a friendly smile. She knew Katrias from around the guild and also visited her shop a couple times for supplies. She was a no-nonsense shopkeeper and Ardeth respected her for that. Most people felt offended by her tone but she didn't mind at the least. If Katrias was there to do business then there was no reason for small chit chat.

"So when do we head out?"

Ardeth set down her empty pint and looked over at the merchant. The sole survivor of a caravan ransacked by hobgoblins of all things apparently. It sounded far-fetched but regardless, something attacked him and killed many others. That was enough reason for her to set down a few silver coins by her empty cup and made her way towards the poor man.

Hopefully this doesn't end up being bigger than she's anticipating. She didn't want to get the higher ups in the Silver Arms involved if they didn't need to be.
