Ollete turned her head slowly towards her enemies, her eyes blank of life as her grin wider and wider in a manic glee that seemed to ooze out of her like an aura. Her head tilted oddly as she looked at her opponents over her shoulder. Then, as her pupils seemed to dilate, she began to hum a small nursery rhyme in a kind tune as she broke out in a run with her Weapon trailing behind her. Once she was close enough ,she seemed to hop up and twirl in the air, sending the blade like ribbon of a sword towards the enemy in front of the currently electrified elf.

Side Story / Re: Hooks Skyship Express [To China]
July 05, 2015, 03:29:41 PM
As these three heroes went about their time on the ship, each with their own interests to pass the time, the crew of the ship were a flurry of activity as they approched the last legs of their journey. The captain looked from his wheel, then began to shout "Alright passengers, gather up your things, we'll be docking soon enough within the hour, and I want you all off my ship as soon as we land. So get ready by the plank for departure." He said, sounding a little annoyed

Side Story / Hooks Skyship Express [To China]
June 24, 2015, 02:38:58 PM
The Group finds them selves on the golden deck of one of the many skyships under the employ of Captain hook. While the Captain wasn't here on this ship, it was still manned by one of his original crew, a reward to him for his years of service and loyalty. The deck was full of activity, many of the pirates moving through the ship performing their jobs, some flying up to high places thanks to the abundance of Pixie dust they had with them.

The group, coming from wherever they wished to be from, had somehow found themselves on this ship, and were now heading straight for china. Weather this was to over throw the King there, or to accomplish some more selfish desire, it was up to them. It would be an hour before they tocued down in the proper sky dock, the landscape underneath them flying by slowly as the ship stayed above the clouds, to avoid any possible Mongol ambushes that would seek to sink the skyship.

Yo, who wants to deal with Jaz and Huang?

Jasmine smiled "Well, all the kinds of course. I want to become the greatest, and most powerful mage ever. Of course, I'd only wish for the grail to allow me the potential to learn them all. Defeats the purpose of the journey if you start at the end. As for what I know, I know how to make runes, and that's it." She explained, looking a little embarrassed at her low level of knowledge.

New York (IC) / Re: [Aristarkh] The Romanov Estate
June 05, 2015, 12:43:32 PM
As the crimson light blasted out from the summoning circle, it suddenly exploded into a golden display of aura's that seemed to wrap around any standing inanimate object in the room. The tendrils of golden light were erratic and seemed to thrash around as they grew more and more violent, until they shot back to the golden spatula and caused in to imploded into a solid gold nugget, and raise from the ground.

Then, from the depths of the throne of heroes, a roar blasted out as the Romanov's servant came charging to the mortal world. In a final flash, the golden nugget exploded, and the large seven foot elder of a servant appeared before the man. Immediately, the stone floor for around 5 feet around the base of his feet, turn to solid gold along with flecks of gold flying off of him like petals as the dust that touched him turn to gold as well.

The servant let out a ragged breath, the man seeming haggard and ill kept. Suddenly though, his eyes looked to his master, and his immediate urge was to attack. However, the grail made him realize who this was and what he did to keep Midas within the world. Instead, he began to walk forward, looking around as each step turned more ground into gold.

Name: DVV - Reclaim the Age of Heroes

System: DVV
https://docs.google.com/document/d/188sdY5frwIsmjxlTt1dUSnUrRY_jcRVsPv5Q_B3kN6I/edit#heading=h.42lplrur18gq
Themes:
Collaborative story telling, Grim settings, High Fantasy action, and political intrigue

Players Needed: 3~6(+?)

Post Requirements: At least once every couple of days, though preferred for posts to happen often

1: What is it?

DVV - Reclaim the Age of Heroes is a story of those few with the spirit to rise up against the tyranny of the evil Kings and queens of evil that have taken over. The age of heroes, where happily ever after was law, ended with the rapid chain of victories of the Villains of the world. Europe is a powder keg of strife as Pontifex Immortalis Frollo leads his flame spewing inquisitors in a constant battle with the Fae and their dark Queen Maleficent.

The beast of the world, both normal and fantastical, are hunted by evil hunters who seek nothing more then entertaining hunts, many viewing them as heroes for culling the massively rising monster population, but the Beast population seeing them as murderers.

And many more examples of the world stuck in it's perpetual Age of Villains. This is where your character will have been raised, and despite that, something within each characters pushes them to fight against it. Weather it be for vengeance, love, justice, or debt, these heroes will try and stand against the tide, and try the impossible and reverse it. They wish for Happily ever after, no matter what it entails. Will they succeed?

2: Why 3~6(+) players?

3 is the minimum I would run a game for, while six would likely be my maximum. However, If i had a Co-dm who could work with another party, we could have two parties going along and thus allow people to just do things on their own throughout the world, or work with the other party should they ever meet.

3: Well obviously I want to play. How do I get started?

First off, people should look at the rules of the game and setting, and also glance over the K/L/R for each country, the King, The Land, and the Rule, to get a feel for what their country of origin would do for their character. After doing this, filling out the small question thing at the bottom of this will show you are interested, and help me to give characters special traits and powers that are only obtainable by being from a certain country.

4: Okay sure, but what about character creation?
Besides your Country of Origin feat /or power, character creation simply goes along how the rules state it does. People have their abilities start at 6, have ten points to spend, can't bring any stat above 12, and so on. Everyone will start at the "Zero" rank, but hopefully will eventually reach the rank of "Hero" once they have achieved their goals.

Respond with:
Player Name:
Character Country of Origin:
Character Species:
Character Role:

Jaz looked to her servant and shrugged "I guess you could, though it's weird being called something new. As for who I am, I'm just some girl who stumble don magic. And man, this newest magic I've found should set me up for life, if the Grail can actually grant any wish I want." She said, stepping back and unfolding on of the chairs that were against the wall, and passing it to her servant, then her hopping onto her own.

"Other then that there isn't much, unless Taxi driving is interesting to you." She said, leaning back in her seat.

Jaz stood there, looking at the Heroic spirit that stood before her with wide eyes and disbelief. She had done it....She had actually managed to complete the ritual. After spending some time standing still and staring at Archer silently, she then jumped up and let out a celebratory "Yes!" Pumping her fist in the air as she showed her excitement.

"I finally did it! I did real magic! This is great!" She said, dancing a bit then looking at archer as she extended her hand for him to shake "Name's Jaz, What's yours?" She asked, hoping to find out the name of her servant.

Within a small apartment, filled with a disorganized mess of books, papers, and alchemical ingredients of variable authenticity, silence prevailed. The near by metro tracks were empty, and the hour was late so the barest of minimum of people walked about the night in the city that never sleeps. The silence was broken though, as the sound of keys being moved and sorted could be heard on the other side of the door that closed the single room apartment off from the rest of the world. After a short time, the door was opened by a young woman, her arms clutching a package a client had accidentally left in her Taxi that day. She had no idea what the package was, but since the customer was likely lost forever, she saw no harm in keeping it.

She entered her humble home and shut the door silently, to not wake her neighbors, and locked the deadbolt, the latch, and the handle's lock on her door to completely secure it for the night so she would at least have warning should someone try to break their way in. Of course, as she walked down the short "hall" towards to main portion of the apartment, multiple runic symbols briefly flashed as they activated for the night, ready to annihilate any assailants who were foolish enough to invade her home. She then went to the small table that took up a good portion of the living room/hallway and opened the package she had found. Within the tan wrappings, she found an old book, various materials, and some odd letter.
To my dear Partner in this endeavor
Within the package is what you will need for the coming war for the holy vessel. I couldn't apprehend a catalyst for you, so we can only pray to our respective lords that the grail smiles down on you and provides you a Servent of great enough power to win you the wish of the Grail. I've made sure to pack everything you need for the ritual, along with some extras should a few attempts somehow prove unprofitable. We can't take any chances, especially after losing our family in the last war to their own arrogance.

Good luck, and God speed

From, your fellow conspirator
After finishing the letter, and perusing through the tome that was basically a massive instruction manual for the summoning of a servant, and of how to catch the relic known as "The Holy Grail"s attention. A small smile spread on Jaz's face, as she examined everything and decided if things were provided, she might as well try it.

-2 Weeks Later-

Jaz sat on her chair, staring at the massive runic circle that had dominated her apartment. She had had to move much of her things, such as the fold out stairs that let her climb to her bedding area, but she hopped it would prove worth the effort as she performed the final step of the summoning process. Holding out a small knife, she stood at the edge of the circle and began the final incantation "By the Grail's power, by the power of the great houses who came before, by the power of the gods high above, and by my own power. I, Jasmine Upadhyay, command thee, great spirits of the throne of heroes. Heed my call, come to my aide and lend thy sword, thy bow, they lance, thy cloak and dagger, thy rage, thy magic, or thy steed to my mission. Come to me, and fight as my servant in this War for the holy Grail, for the wish it provides, for the glory of the combat, for the thrill of life once more. Great Heroic spirits I command thee, return to the mortal plane, and give thy selves form!" She said, slashing her hand to have blood fall upon the rune, which sent the magical energy within her blood shoot through the rune, and activating it in a flash of powerful magical light.

As this happened, her hand began to burn, as the command seals for the Archer class appeared on her flesh as if they were a tattoo she had always had, forming to be used later on in the great war to come.
