Tuesday August 27th 2013

The teacher enters the classroom slowly carrying a hand full of papers. She smiles at you warmly putting everyone at ease. It is Miss Rest one of the student body?s favorites and an English teacher.

Running her fingers through her long blond hair she addressed the class, ?Welcome everyone to the first day of class as sophomores! I hope we all have a great year together! Before I take attendance I have some announcements to make from the principle and Student teacher board, so listen closely and save your questions to the end,?

?Dear students,

Welcome to a brand new year at Washington high. We the faculity and parents cannot wait to see what you make of yourselves this year. We hope to provide an environment for personal growth and achievement that will pave a path to your future selves. To further this endeavor we are instituting a new mandatory extracurricular program that is to come in affect immediately. Students will be required to join and participate in a maximum of two clubs. The decision on what clubs to join must be made within the first few days or your homeroom teacher shall do it in your stead. Please keep in mind that due to the number of students that must be serviced that all choices once med are final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. We hope this change will make the year a memorable one.

All the best in the New Year!
   PTA and The Principle?

?Isn?t this exciting!? Miss Rest laughed slightly, ?I was told to tell you that you can sign up at the notice board right outside the class room and that homeroom will be extended for first period so that you all can have a look.?

?Any questions??

As she finished the statement the class erupted into loud conversation. Some people broke into groups others still directly left the classroom looking to get their spots quickly. Others still seemed not to have been paying attention at all sleeping or holding back as if out of nervousness. Glancing around there looks like there are a number of people willing to talk or you could go look directly at the board.

In particular if you look at the door you can see a group of guys huddled around the bulletin board snickering. Otherwise there is a girl with short black hair and glasses not talking to anyone in particular. Monica is her name you think.
Npcs can onlt pick one club at the moment sorry if that was confusing
"Clubs!? Roman shouted amongst the uproar of the class, not that it really caught anyone's attention. It wasn't meant to, he had simply come to a recognition of sorts. Of course! That's how I'll entertain myself here. Plus I'll finally find people I can talk to seriously! He barely kept himself from jumping up and down excitedly. What Roman did not keeping himself from doing, though, was running over to the board as soon as etiquette allowed him.

He made a quick scan of the list over the others' heads. "Let's see, let's see...Yes, those will do nicely...Geology and research. Such a wonderful combination! After all where to magnets even come from, but the EARTH! Quickly and without hesitation, he signed his name on the two club lists. He didn't even know he was smiling to himself, but he kept it on his face even while he made his way back to his seat. "This is going to be great!" He muttered to himself excitedly.

At this point, he wasn't even paying attention to people, and was fidgeting a lot. With magnets, of course. The smile wasn't nearly as odd anymore, but more just plain happy.

It's not as if the other clubs didn't interest Kevin-they all did. But as he followed his fellow classmates into the hall to peruse the wide array of club listings set before them, he came across two that he just could not resist. And thinking so, he carefully wrote out his name in the notice board, right under the listing titled the "Newspaper Club."

That was the simple part, however. What came after would take some work, but Kevin was already concocting a plan to take care of that as well. He had in mind the mass distribution of flyers or maybe even a poster or two. Announcements would also be altered and rumors would be leaked. In short, the entire school's media was to be his plaything. After all, such was the joy held by those who take over the newspaper club.

The young man smiled, eager to put his plan in motion and join the simple organization called:

But after taking another quick look through the list, yet another club drew him in. Thus, his pen was moving almost sub-consciously as he signed his name under another club listing-the Tabletop Club.

That accomplished, he set his eyes upon the rest of the cast. A group of snickering boys to the left and an oddly familiar girl to the right. in addition to some apparent foreigner raving something about magnets. But Kevin paused. There was something about that foreigner that struck a chord within him. Had they met before? Kevin wondered.

Meh.

The young man ended up shrugging in the end. Though it felt odd to the point where it bordered the unnatural, he decided he'd start the year by sticking with familiar ground. And so, he made his way up to miss short black hair and glasses girl.

"Yo, it's Monica, right?" he asked.

"Name's Kevin. Pleasure to meet ya."

Roman

You continue to fiddle around with the small magnets you carry around with you until one slips out of your hand by accident a nothing student goes rushing past bumping into your arm in the process. Looking down the row attempting to find them. You see the student who had bumped into you. He looks close to tears as he sits in his seat towards the back of the classroom as he simply slumps in his seat deflating looking as if he's seen death in the face. You think you. remember his name being Wallace from the teacher's role call.

Kevin
Monica looks up at you from her book and smiles a slight smirk from behind the reflection of her slim rectangular framed glasses. Her gaze feeling like it can readyour mind

"Hi Kevin what's up?."

Despite never really having a chance to talk before, from hearing the rumors and having her in some of your previous classes she is known as one of the smartest people in the sophomore class not because of her brains, but because of her work ethic. She's very much a direct person person with no care in the world for other people's standing. Always ready to speak her mind. Despite her anussuming appearance more then one of the students and teachers steer clear of her. Her sense of right and wrong is equally strong.

Roman picks up his magnet quickly, afraid of being far from them, then wanders over to his classmate. Poor guy, I wonder what bothers him?...well, I know what can help! Thinking only with good intentions, he loosens his grip and hands the boy his magnets, while pulling out a separate set for himself.

"Your name was Wallace, yes? Here, fiddle with these, and take mind off problems! Let me know what ails you while we entertain ourselves." Roman says with a smile. For Roman to let someone borrow his magnets was a big deal, as they were his joy. So to him, it was a great honor, and token of trust.

"Just got done picking out my clubs," Kevin promptly answered. "But more importantly..."

"Whatcha reading?" he had to ask, while leaning forward to get a closer look. He was genuinely curious what Mrs. Work Ethic considered a "good read." But more than that, he was bored and found little else that could pass the time.

"Is it about work ethics, Mrs. Work Ethic?" Kevin asked innocently. "Or maybe about women and the size of their brains?" he continued "...Oh, I know."

Kevin's eyes lit up, as if reaching a sudden epiphany.

Roman

Wallace looked up at Roman slightly in shock. Taking the magnets that were handed to him out of reflex more then anything else. The kindness was not lost on him as he tried too composes himself as you take a seat in the desk infront of him straddling the back so that you could look at him and the magnets.

His eyes still red he steadies his breathing, ?I?m fine,? he stated some Jerks I know  just played a prank on me and a few of my friends is all.? Despite his bluster you can tell he?s pretty broken up about it.

?They thought it?d be funny to pick our clubs for us hoping to see our reactions.?
He grimaced slightly

?I don?t look like much of a boxer do I?? he chuckled bitterly. Wallace was very much out of shape and he knew it. A series of unfortunate circumstances at home and in life meant that he was always a wimp who hated confrontation. This coupled with him being very much overweight meant that he was an easy target for others.

You realize that this must have been what those other guys were snickering about in front of the noticeboard. They had been exploiting the no changing rule, as a way to ruin others chances to sign up for the clubs they wanted.

Kevin

"It?s a Karate book Rifken you know as in the martial art. I thought it be fun to learn to break people's noses."

It was a benign threat and her smile showed she only half meant it. Kevin?s tendency to be a bit of a button pusher seemed to have reached her. She was not about to rise to rise to his ploys, but she was not about to back down either. It

?Besides I enjoy my glasses.? she said with a chuckle,?So, What clubs did you join anyway Kev?"

"Ahhh, that would be reason to be upset." Roman says, but thinks a moment, "However, I see opportunity. Clubs like those don't just throw unconditioned boxers into sparring. You will be training, yes? This is chance to pull one on those bullies! Show them that you can be in this club, and get a more comfortable physique. Two birds with one stone!"

"After all, you don't have to be good at the subject to be in the club. And of course explain circumstances to teacher or principle. Your name is obviously not in your handwriting, so you may get exception to change rule. But if you're stuck, it may not be a bad thing, yes?"

Roman looked the boy over, the patted him on the shoulder. "It will work out. But as curiosity, what club were you trying for?"

"Hah," the young man chuckled. "I've got a slightly better opinion of you now!" he continued with a smile, while giving the girl a slight pat of approval.

"I like breaking noses too."

"But what I had really meant to say was this," Kevin quickly added, not missing the implied threat. "You've got great work ethics, you're very brainy, and you've got beautiful eyes... no matter how impaired they really are."

"But that's beautiful too."

"As for your question, I've just signed up for the newspaper club, tabletop club, and student council," the young man answered.
"And of all three... yeah, I think I'll be stopping by the tabletop club first."

"I just love playing games with people after all."

Roman

Wallace looks at you rather promisingly, ?You have a point there. If I really work at it and change then who will be laughing then!? Wallace?s resolve seemed to grow and your words have set a goal in his mind. As he contemplates what to do next he chuckles slightly at your last comment. ?To be honest, I was freaking out trying to decide I thought I might do something simple like art, but I guess that ship has sailed.?

Snapping out of his thoughts he smiles in shock, ?I?m sorry you?ve been sitting here listening to al my problems that I never got your name!?

Kevin

?Ah, Kev? she said chuckling ?Thank?s for the complement-- I think." Chuckling at his comment he had seemed to clear things up. ?Though don?t think that you can just flatter me and I won?t call you on your crap. Your not my type? She said flipping here hair slightly. ?For all you know we might be rivals?

At this her quipping stopped ?I think someone is looking for you Kev.? Said Monica pointing out the classroom at a girl wearing a helmet scanning the classroom. Her glances seemed to be frantic but the piece of equipment seemed to be hampering her view of him.

"Ah, of course, where are my manners! I am Roman. It is pleasure to meet you." He says happily, offering his hand for a handshake. "And as for other clubs, if you're still interested, they wouldn't mind you dropping in from time to time, I'm sure! At least if you have passion for it." Even while talking, Roman continued to fiddle with his magnets. It's just what he did when he was idle. "If you ever need help, I'd be happy to lend hand, Wallace. You are good guy."

"I guess I can consider myself lucky that I chose my clubs quickly!" He says jokingly, "No doubt I would be target, too."

"Flattery..?" Kevin raised an eyebrow. "I like that. So let's just say that's what it was. In any case, thanks for the heads up," Kevin said, following Monica's cue and spotting a familiar figure in the crowd. "I'll be going then, but before I do..."

"You said something interesting just now," The young man stated, while resuming his customary devilish grin.

"What makes you think that such kind, responsible, and lovable people such as you and I would ever become something akin to rivals?"

Roman

Wallace accepted the handshake happily, ?It?s a pleasure to meet you Roman!? ?I?m glad we could talk it really helped set me straight?. It was weird as you shook his hand it seemed like it grew in strength as it went.

?And don?t worry you haven?t been here long enough to have drawn attention to yourself?

Maybe it was just his new found confidence, but it seemed like something more though as he lets go of your hand and you notice something weird about his face and hair though you are unable to place what changed if anything at all.

These feelings do not dissipate as you continue to talk to him, but you can never quite make sense of what the difference actually is. Like an itch you just cannot scratch it will continue to bother you.

Kevin

?Just a feeling I have.? She smiled before she returned to her reading signaling the end of the conversation. It is at that point that Serah one of Kevin?s childhood friends finally sees him despite her helmet. Pulling him from the classroom and into a quite hallway she finally seems to calm down.

?I?ve been looking for you everywhere Kevin! I needed to talk with you.? She huffed her shyness fading away now that she is not in public view.

The "Moral and Togetherness" club? Even Brian had to admit that is sounded pretty damn lame. He shrugged however, he knew he probably wasn't going to be as involved in the mandatory clubs. Except for maybe that cooking club. Even as the student walked into the classroom, he was already thinking of the new club he was to join. Sure, he never did like school, he never participated in anything extracurricular, not did he take any of his responsibilities seriously. But maybe a club wasn't actually that bad of an idea. He couldn't imagine what the other kids in there would be like, hell, throughout middle school he had never met anyone who liked to cook, not even among the few girls he had known. He was curious, there was no doubt to that fact.

He thought of all the recipes he had already mastered, and all the attempts he had done in the past to attempt to combine Campbell soup into his cooking. There was a part of him that was itching to try again. Perhaps one of the club members would know the key to combine the different foods. It was in this way, completely lost in thought, that Brian ventured into the new classroom.

The kids were talking to themselves, much like how it was in his previous class. 2-D? Was it 2-C? He didn't even know anymore, though it wasn't like Brian to think too hard on it. He looked back, taking note the class number assigned to them; "2-E", it read. This was definitely the class. As Brian looked around, he realized that the teacher never really gave him a seat. So he did what any other highschooler would do: taking the nearest desk, he sat in it.

Roman was confused while he continued to talk with Wallace. Wallace should not have that strong of grip. Or at least I did not expect it. Perhaps he will do well in boxing! He thought to himself, shrugging off the feeling of eeriness. Instead, he continued his not-yet-realized-is-a-rant talk about magnets, which he had began half way through the conversation. "...And if you plunge it through coil of some sort, magnet will induce electrical current in coil proportional to speed and strength of moving magnet! So these little guys," he presents his held magnets, as well as motioning to Wallace's, "can even bring usable electricity into existence. In fact, naturally occurring magnets are way they are due to constant magnetic flux of earth's similar magnetic field. It sets material's magnetic poles in same orientation as earth's field over time material remained in same spot. Once material moves around as common magnet used by us, however, it loses potency at rate dependent on material...

These constant tangent rants continue, despite poor Wallace's looks of awe-gone-fear, until Roman's slow reaction recognizes that no one near him had any interest. He coughs into his hand embarrassed and nervous, "Many apologies, I get carried away with that subject. Well, it was pleasure meeting you. Let me know how club activities go! Oh, and you can keep magnets if you wish, I have many."

Roman smiles and waves casually goodbye, then purposefully walks back to his seat, sitting down and continuing his thoughts to himself, as he had learned to do earlier in life so as to not disturb others.

"Now here's someone I do delight in seeing," Kevin said at length. "What's up, Serah?"

"Is it so important that it's worth losing our ever so precious class time, or what..?" He asked, that innocent expression returning to his face. "After all, you know just how much I delight in doing classwork."

The young man grinned mischievously then, making no pretense to mask his true nature. "Don't tell me that mound of junk has broken down again." He made an exaggerated sigh as he awaited his "friend's" response.

Serah proceeds to punch you in the arm, "Don't talk about my bike that way! She's just having a tough time that's all."

"Besides that's not the point! I came to tell you I joined the disciplinary committee so i better not catch you doing something I'll have to deal with, or I'll let you see the work I've done on my bike up close." Before she could continue  however the bell signaling the actual beginning of classes rang cutting her off. "Crap right before we could really get talking" she said holding her helmet in a way that shows her exasperation.

Later that day

The day goes by normally for the most part once homeroom had finished. The usual first day classes with very little out of the ordinary. The largest thing being that people seemed uncomfortable sitting in the lunchroom. Otherwise, only a few blips of strangeness caught your eye but nothing really worth remembering. Before you knew it the day is done and you all go off to your first day of clubs. The teachers are either in the lounge or have gone home so mostly only teachers remain.

As clubs finish up and those who are left leave the school the three of your activities finally end and the three of you leave your own clubs. Led each by your own blue butterfly you all met up in the halls. As you all meet face to face with each other the three insect circle around then float down yet another hall. Pulled by some unknown force the the of you end up back deeper into the school and out on to the field. Negative energy poured from the pitch like waves of the ocean sending waves down all of your spines. None of you have anytime to rest since what you did in club, but as you are swept over by the negative energy none of you feel like you can escape going outside.
outside covered with dirt and mud is a girl that Brian will recognize as The girl who was making a scene before hand in home room Alicia. She is murmuring to herself in a desperate fury fists clenched. ?I can?t believe i ended up in a club with him my life is ruined! I wish I could just make everything disappear!? she whispered just barely enough for you to hear. A dark and foreboding aura was swirling around her like a storm forming a visual manifestation of his rage and pain.

The girl looked familiar, he remembered back in the previous homeroom class before he was moved to 2-C later that day, that there was some girl making a fuss. He didn't really pay attention, but he thought he remembered it was something about relationship issues. He vaguely recalled the girl literally bombarding the "school star" Serena with a load of drama. Brian didn't like drama; so it was almost natural of him to tune it out.

"It sucks, but it probably ain't the end of the world ya know?" He said, raising his voice so that it could be heard through the strange aura. He didn't know what he was doing, but Brian knew that the swirling storm around the girl probably wasn't normal. As that girl, Alicia, clenched her fists, so did Brian. Gritting his teeth he went forward into the swirling storm that surrounded the girl.

"What's up?"

What kind of storm is this!? More random occult things? I already was led to this weird flash drive in club, and now some girl is causing some inconceivable spatial disruption?...Well I guess I should help somehow...she can't exactly be left alone. Right in the middle of his thoughts, Roman saw Brian, whom he'd only met on the field trip earlier on, take the initiative. "I better follow for support." He muttered under his breath as he stepped behind his classmate, still in view of the girl.

"Brian is right. And if it is really problem, we'll be happy to help you convince principle to get in other club! I'm sure they can make exception, yes?" Roman backed up Brian's statement. "Tell us about your predicament" He said with a smile. He was glad someone else initiated the conversation, as he really had no idea what to do. He'd much rather have gone home to check the drive, but made sure not to show that intention. Helping those less fortunate than his was his vocation, after all.

The energy flared around her as she turned around to face the three of you, her body tense and long blonde hair whipping wildly around her from a nonexistent wind. ?I will have revenge! Everyone will pay for what has happened to me!? The fire like shadowy aura enveloped her like a cocoon at this point then spider webbed out reaching high into the sky. The flame like shadows stretched a good ten feet higher into the air and dug deep into the ground. Once it reached that point the shadows in the air dipped down and flared out until the three of you are trapped in a doom of about 1/3 the size of a football field.

The thin layer of shadow around you gave everything outside the bubble a deep purple tint. The walls of which were constantly alive with an unfriendly looking energy like an electric fence. Then your attention was drawn to the center of the doom as sounds of the cocoon cracking open and pieces falling away as Alicia in a white tennis outfit.
At this point characters can be damaged
All characters start with 40 points of heath and 40 points of endurence look at the cheatsheet for more info
The more alarming part however is the tennis racket in her left had seemingly radiating with negative power. She steps away from the disintegrating cocoon and give all three of you a sickly sweet smile.

?So you threeee booys wannna play a game with me?? she giggled, ?Here let me serve.? Razing the racket and getting into a position to serve a ball she did not have she made a shape with her free hand. Energy like that in the dome around you began to accumulate in a tennis ball shape. It only took a moment till the would-be tennis ball was up in the air and she sent it flying at you three with a powerful hit.

The ball ended up just whizzing between all three of you. Hitting the wall of the doom a good twenty feet away and exploded with enough energy to send you all stumbling forward and almost face planting in the process.

?Woopies I missed! <3! Next time I?ll make sure to hit one of you right in the face!?

The hell is wrong with her? Here he was doing something uncharacteristic seeing if there was something he could give advice to like that poor kid Bruce. If it worked once, maybe it'll do so again? But what did the girl do? Serve a freaking energy ball at them. Brian was surprised of course, probably the same as the other two kids behind him, after all a ball turned into something quite literally explosive. But more than that, he was pissed.

"HEY! You can fucking kill someone with that!" Brian picked himself up, not bothering to wipe off the dirt and mud on his clothing and hands. He didn't always get into someone else's business, but to show what compassion Brian gave and to have it literally blow up in his face was something that ticked Brian off immensely. He was known as a delinquet at the school anyways, sure he would prefer not to mess with a girl, but hell America's all about equality ain't it?

Brian glanced at the other two behind him seeing how the two kids were doing. Other than some dirt, the two looked fine. It'll probably take the three of them to calm the demon down.

"I heard of the phrase 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned', but this is ridiculous! You guys behind me better keep up. That girl wants to play." Brian cracked his knuckles and shortly after clenched his fists.
Not sure how this all works and how to move forward from here btw. But it's no longer freeform? Are rules in place? I'll post with what I want Brian to do after I have some confirmation or when some other people post.
Without waiting for a response from the other two kids behind him, Brian rushed out to that giggling demon. All the fights Brian had been in, in the past had let him react to the situations just a bit faster, and though the situation was certainly something that he hadn't experienced before, the delinquent wasn't just about to let the girl get the upper hand. He was already pissed; he was going to make sure the girl knew. There was really no time to wait, the ball she served was just to damn dangerous.

He had to get that tennis racket away.

"Make everything... disappear?"

Kevin smiled, running over the girl's choice of words. "That doesn't sound like much fun," he contemplated but still followed after the two others, a known delinquent and a foreigner. For ever since the butterfly incident from before, he realized there were more to these things than met the eye. And lo and behold, not long after Alicia's declaration...

Energy Balls.

A shadowy barrier of sorts had already draped around the unlikely trio by then, tinting everything a disgusting shade of purple, but Kevin hardly showed any surprise, Given all the weird things that had happened that very same day, craziness sort of lost its meaning to the young man. And it's not as if the world wasn't already crazy beforehand. Today, it just chose to become slightly more so.

He then took out a permanent marker on his person, an item similar to his switchblade in that he had never gone without either. For to Kevin at least, that particular tool held many practical uses including: signing, drawing, and, most of all, trolling. There were many times when it came in handy, and even now he intended to put it to good use.

So thinking, Kevin dashed towards the racket wielder like the delinquent before him. The girl wanted to play after all, and he found no reason to deny her.

Roman was stunned. What was THAT!? Visible aura is one thing, but projectiles? No, not possible. But now is not time to think about that! I must avoid those...things. He snapped out of his stupor and began to move as quickly as he could, weaving so as to become a difficult target. He saw Brian going for the racket and decided he would be a support. He aimed to dart underneath the girl, ready to catch the racket if it's knocked away, or jump up and snatch it if need be.

There was little time to react, the girl proved to be too quick on her feet. No doubt that evil looking aura around her had something to do with it. Why the hell can't he have some sort of god damn aura! He would have spat a curse then, but Brian saw the girl lift her racket again. The first blast knocked them to the ground, he wasn't about to be caught in it again. He dove to the ground, his hands covering the top of his hand in preparation for the explosion.

Amazingly enough, his opponent had avoided HIS "deadly attack" from HIS "deadly weapon," prompting Kevin to perform a quick side-step as the girl brought HER deadly weapon to bear. But on sudden after-thought, he decided he could not just simply dodge the coming attack. So the young man took the most appropriate action-running as close to the dangerous tennis player as he dared. And when the girl's attack came...

The three of you manage to just dodge the ball as it explodes burning you all slightly but causing no real harm to any of you.  Brian is by far the closest laying on the ground close to the girl. Kevin I somewhere in the middle and was hit the most by the explosion due to the ball bouncing before it detonated. Roman is at the back having anticipated the movement and was completely missed as he moves back and forth.

Alice is greatly displeased by this pouting as she continues to move. ?You boy are all the same! Idiots! Can?t even disappear without causing more problems!..? Hopping back Alice is starting to have notably labored breathing.

?Not only do I have to deal with being almost completely invisible and go unnoticed by all you stupid boys, but then that dog Jude has to go and join the stupid gardening club and end up right where we were practicing tennis and cause a huge scene. It was Humiliating!!!? she continued having a temper tantrum stopping her feet the black Aura flaring up once again.

?I even asked my supposed friend for help in my time of need and you know what she did she blew me off, and did nothing!? Taking another shaky breath heavy with anger she becomes composed again.

?Well now I've finally decided to get my own justice since I've gone so unnoticed in life. Don?t you think you could just burst into tears after hearing such a sad and forlorn story. What is the Heroine of the story to do but fight back?? She smiled at you all the aura around her still going strong.

As the explosion calmed down, all that was running through Brian's head was the fact the girl couldn't seem to control her emotions at all. Brian figured that the girl probably didn't think that life was being fair to her, but then again, when is life fair? He had went through his own share of troubles, but it's not like he ever took it out on random people.

"Why don't you just talk to him then! If you don't like something about life, do something about it." Brian yelled. "Don't just go around swinging balls at random people. Believe me that ain't fighting back!"

Brian managed to get a hold of the racket as he stepped in close.

?What do you think your doing you stupid boy!? She screamed negative energy crackling around them both. It felt like he had just grabbed on to a lightning rod in the middle of a storm. His muscles went ridged from the pain he could no longer let go even if he wanted to. However, it seemed that the surprise had caused her emotions to go so out of control she was losing herself completely. And thus the pair wrestled for moments. The girl not strong enough to physically over power Brian and he unable to do anything but bare with the energy coursing through him not to die

?YOU CAN?T HAVE THIS! I WON?T LET YOU TAKE MY JUSTICE FROME ME!? she screamed

Then in her haste she actually slipped causing them both to fumble and fall Alicia on top of him kissing the racket between them. The moment lasted only a second Brain barely conscious of the event happening around him. In her shock she actually let go of her prized instrument.

?WHAT THE HELL ARE YO-!?
,As soon as she did however her eyes went blank all negative energy instantly dissipating her unconscious form falling on top of his. Then rolling to the side

The air was quite for the first in a long time since the fight had began and then small cracks began forming within the shell that had been your cage and then shattered into what seemed to be dust. You had managed to stop her rampage although accidently it had seemed rather affective. You notice however that there is still a bit of energy burning around her like a dying flame it helplessly sputtered then burst to life yet again. For a moment it burned brighter then it ever had before a sickly dark purple seemingly centered on the girl. The flames began to concentrate into a single flaming spout where her heart was meant to be burning bright.  As you were forced to shield your eyes for a moment you could almost see a ghoulish face from within the flames.

Then it snuffed out entirely as the girl levitated like a rag doll in the air then fell with a thud, an orb of that purple black energy remain floating right above her heart. Perhaps that had been the source of the girl?s strange abilities? Before you could study it further however it zoomed off like a comet into the night sky. You may have one this battle by shear tenacity but you all had a sinking suspicion that this fight had only been the preshow to something much bigger. However at the moment you have the unconscious bodies of two of your classmates to deal with at the moment.

Roman could only watch as the shouting and tug-of-war ensued over the racket. He pumped his arm in an expression of success as he saw that Brian was winning. Yes! We almost have her weapon! Just little more and-

Then the unexpected happened. They slipped, and tangled with each other on the ground, accidentally kissing through the weave of the racket. Roman, forgetting the situation for a split second, blushed. Ah...that's...well... Then he recovered from his momentary stupor, realizing that the both of them were unconscious after she rolled off of him.

"Bohze Moi! Are both of you alright!?" He shouted, running toward them. He had to come to a sliding halt, however, as the girl's negative energy exploded, focused blindingly, and flew away. Oi...can this get any weirder... He shook his head. Nevermind, I don't want that answer.

The good news was that whatever was causing the outburst had disappeared. The bad news? They had to get out of here before they were found with all this damage around them. ALL of them. Roman quickly moved beside the two, seeing if he could wake them, attempting to wake Brian, then Alicia. "Come, come! Wake! We need to get out of here!" What worried him was that they wouldn't wake. He could see how taxing the energy was during the tug-of-war, as well as when it left Alicia's body. "Please be alright. Please be ALIVE!"

He then began checking pulses out of jittery paranoia. What else could be worse than unconscious classmates than DEAD classmates. No one's dying on me, we still need to figure out what happened! At the very least, he laid the two out in a relaxed position. After he was certain they were still alive, he relaxed a little, but a sudden thought occurred to him, followed by a smirk.

"I hope neither of you remember moments before you passed out...that would be...awkward.

The goal was the racket in her hands. Without that, she wouldn't be throwing those damn exploding tennis balls at them. Though when he accomplished his task, the results weren't as what he expected. When he had grabbed it, a sharp pain erupted from the racket, spreading from his fingertips throughout his entire body. His muscles locked as his grip tightened on the racket as an intense pain overwhelmed him. It was unbearable, and even though his eyes started to feel heavy, that only made him want to fight against it more; he's not going to let some crazy girl defeat him or cause any more chaos.

"YOU CAN?T HAVE THIS! I WON?T LET YOU TAKE MY JUSTICE FROME ME!"

But then she had tripped, and Brian watched helplessly as he himself fell down as well from her movement. The pain was already too much, and Brian was already starting to lose consciousness; he wasn't able to side step out of the way in time. Before he knew it, their lips met; a kiss between the tennis racket between them.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YO-!"

Before Brian could process what just happened, he had blacked out, with the soft sensation on his lips before losing consciousness.

Roman quickly can see that everyone is in fact still alive and breathing despite whatever happen. After a few minutes of fusing over them there does not seem like much he can do except wait for something to happen.

Brian is the first of the two to stir awake after the struggle. Head pounding and still slightly feeling the affects of whatever occurred. He felt weak and exhausted his energy almost completely gone. Memories of what happened fresh in his mind. Alicia laying only inches away.

She would wake up minutes later with a groan of her own. "What... happened?" Sitting up and rubbing her head and looking around she seemed to have a look of near complete bewilderment.

" Why am I still at school? practice is over right?" Then she saw the three of you and visibly reddens. "Wha..what are you guys looking at?" Her memories of the past hour seem completely gone with that aura and ratchet, but is none the worse for wear-unlike Brian.

"Ah, Brian, good, good. You did it, you DID IT! Haha. Just lay there, you seem exhausted. Everyone is well, and-ah."

It was then that Alicia began to wake as well, and her timid attitude took him off guard. THIS is the girl that just tried to kill us? Bohze Moi...what a day.

It took a moment to clear his surprise at the new personality. Roman had to be quick, or else they would seem awkward, and stir more suspicions. If she doesn't remember, that is good. I certainly won't jog her memory He really wanted to twiddle with the magnets in his pocket to help him think, but knew that he didn't have the time. So he winged it.

Dents in the ground...two people unconscious and possibly lacking memory...got it! I hope.

"Ah, yes, umm, three of us were running through courtyard here when stuff started falling from roof above. Seemed they had renovation materials up there and they got pushed off somehow. While avoiding it, you and Brian here collided heads. The nurse was gone for the day, so we stuck around and made sure you were both ok. Very sorry about that. Here, your racket." Roman smiles, handing her her tennis racket. "You ran well, you are in tennis club, yes? I am not the sporting type, but I do admire the dedication and ability." Finally, those classes in etiquette were paying off. There is one thing I can thank my father for, if nothing else. He only hoped the story went over.

"I think I remember seeing you earlier...your name is...Alicia, yes?"

"The hell I did. I didn't just...?" Brian shook his head as he replied to his classmate, Roman, he was sure his name was. He ached all over, touching the racket did its number, so with that in mind he simply kept laying on the field, looking straight up into the sky. The scene was still playing through his head, and he didn't really know what to make of it. When he heard Alicia start to groan and wake up, Brian dusted off the dirt on his pants and stood up. For some reason he didn't quite want to look so defenseless with the crazy energy-ball serving girl waking up. He eyed her carefully; there was no visible evil aura to be found. Whatever it was the affected her, it was probably gone.

He didn't quite trust the fact completely, but he held out his hand for her to use to stand up.

"Sorry about earlier." Brian said, his eyes averting her as he held his hand out. For some reason he couldn't bring himself to look her in the eyes, and it made Brian feel a bit uneasy.

This was just too exciting. To think that overly pubescent girls held such power! He should just push some over himself, if only for the energy balls. "Hahahaha," the young man couldn't help but burst out laughing even as he lay flat on his back over the cold, hard ground. But this was just too much fun! But then...

"Why don't you just talk to him then! If you don't like something about life, do something about it." The delinquent amongst them yelled. "Don't just go around swinging balls at random people. Believe me that ain't fighting back!"

...What?

Kevin jumped up just as the delinquent fired off his return speech, and in one fluid motion drew himself fully upright. He narrowed his eyes at the other boys words. "Don't just go around swinging balls at random people," he says? Where was the fun in THAT?

"Don't let that past guy or even this guy get to you!" The young man immediately countered. "If the world's at fault then just change the world! What's it matter if you got to swing a ball or two-or three or four-at random people just to make your feelings known. Better out than in, no matter the situation."

Kevin smiled.

"So KEEP swinging those balls!"

"-And preferably not at ME!"

Moments later, however, and it seemed as if his words fell on deaf ears. Unfortunately, as their struggle continued, no further energy balls were forthcoming from Ms. Pubescent. The young man visibly sighed at the disappointing result and only watched half-amused as their tennis match became a wrestling match.

"Well, it was fun while it lasted," he finally said when the racket was finally removed and the energy visibly faded from the young girl. Kevin made his way over, only stopping to pick up a small branch that was laying in the debris. He then proceeded to poke the corpse-like object before him.

"Think she's dead?" Kevin asked no one in particular.

Looking around though, he found that one of his partners-in-crime had also been struck with the same idea and was even now asking the unmoving forms to be alright in a polite manner. And in no time at all, his prayer was answered! Ah, the power of "please," Kevin thought dryly, whilst simultaneously waving at the waking forms with branch in hand.

He then proceeded to patiently listen to the foreign student's tale which, for him, was a feat. However, unlike his compatriots, he felt no need to use a lie. After all, why tell a lie when the truth was far more interesting. Kevin then clapped his hands half a beat after the delinquent made his apologies.

"Actually, what really happened was..."

Alicia looks at the outstretched hand that Brian was offering she could feel her cheeks reddening for some unknown reason. Whatever it was about these guys it set her hair on end, andthe obvious lies the others were spewing she was not buying it.

"I think I remember seeing you earlier...your name is...Alicia, yes?" The foriegn kid knew her name then it struck her the boy that was holding his hand out was a guy from her class. She nodded at the boys question and then stood using Brian for help. These guys were creeping her out and the fact that the one guy was not looking her in the eye made her weary. At the same time she had yet to let go of Brian's hand and she felt her heart flutter. Beating rapidly she somehow couldn't take her eyes off him. Ignoring the other boys she continued "I'm Alicia Oloski... thanks for helping me."  she blushed even redder. Whatever happened she was on edge but Brian made her more flustered then afraid.

"Am I in love?" she whipered to herself. Pulling away she couldn't tell exactly what happened but she imagined Brian having stood over her like Snow White's prince charming. "Thanks for helping me she murmerd still not sure what to make of the other two. Had they just stummbled upon there special moment and now was trying to ruin it for them? That must have been it they were nothing more then ruffians probably the ones who tried to knock her out and then Brian had to fight them off! Oh how lovely he mussed have saved her by braweling with them then after betting them down he must have took pity on them and had not killed them for her sake. She would just smile and nod so as to not embaress her strong and smakrt hero! She wouldn't let that happen not when she was feeling pretty good even amoment before. In fact ever since she had woken up despite the headache it felt like a huge wieght had been lifted from her, she felt as light as a bird.

Then she saw that the sun was nearly completely set "I'VE GOT TO GET HOME!"   She turned quickly and egain running off with a simple wave she would have to get the truth of how heroic and valient Brian was for her later.

"Well then..." Roman said as the girl ran off hurriedly. "Hopefully there is not much more ill will to come from that one." From the way she had stared him down, Roman didn't even believe his own words. The stares given to Brian were MUCH different however. And he had a general idea of what they were about...but she couldn't have been conscious...could she?

"Brian, did you notice how she acted around you, as opposed to us? I feel as though she may had her own thoughts about what may have happened...do you remember anything from before you went unconscious?" Roman was honestly glad the girl was gone, and desperately wanted to get home himself. But first, he had to make sure his friends are well. He worried about what Alicia would do without their knowing. She seemed to lean on the dramatic side of things...

"Well..." Brian said as he shrugged. He didn't know what to think, it wasn't any sort of position he had ever been in at all. "Other than exploding tennis balls, miasma-like shit, and crazy girls? Nope. No idea Roman." He replied.

Though Brian said that, he did recall grabbing the tennis racket from the girl, with the ensuring shock hurting like hell. He didn't quite exactly remember what had happened after. They both fell down from the shock, muscles tensed, and consciousness fading away. He did remember seeing Alicia's face clearly, and some sort of soft sensation... He shook his head as he ignored the weird sensation. Stuff didn't make sense anyways. It was probably the freaking electricity that made his body tingle. He turned towards Roman and the peculiar Kevin.

"Yeah, so what's your version of the story?" He gave them both a look like he didn't really want to know. That said, he found his eyes wandering to where Alicia was still running away from them. It might have been nice if she stayed longer.

Wait. What the hell am I thinking?

New rules
Conversation battles or CB's take place whenever arguing with, persuading, or coning npcs. CB's work like regular combat except only social abilities and weaknesses apply. Entering into a CB has the added opportunity to raise or lower relationship points depending on the situation. Look to the relationship point rules for more details.
It has been two weeks since school had started and weird things started occurring around campus. Unfortunately things seemed to only be getting stranger and stranger each passing day. The following days after the nighttime battle you feel the same electric energy in the air again each morning as you did before on that first day. It seemed to getting stronger each morning as you woke up then began to dissipate to the point that it was completely unnoticed by the time you would arrive at school.

Your dreams have been filled with glimpses of a hooded woman with blue hair standing in darkness. Though you can never make out her face in detail her mouth moves as if she is attempting to say something to you but she has no sound. If you attempt to approach her then she becomes a stream of butterflies, which float away just before you awake.

The oddities and weird events around town also seem to be increasing though no one seems to take any notice. What little traffic there was coming through the three towns seemed to be lessening everyday. At first nothing seemed different though you heard more complaints from those who worked outside the local area seeming more reluctant then ever to leave or drive back home once they had left. Then those simply driving through would stop in the middle of the street as if in a daze before coming to their senses and driving on. This has gotten worse however within these few days as the only hotel in town is full to bursting with wayward travelers often city workers who have decided to drop everything to live here. What is worse those from the town who were on the outside when this shift happened refuse to come home. Leaving some families broken, houses abandoned and children on their own. Traffic seems to be almost completely driving around the area as if there is some kind of invisible barrier. One of the most noticeable affects is that the small chain stores and market are already starting to run low since there have only a few deliveries to restock and those that came unloaded there goods and have not left to return to the city.

The three towns simply do not have the capacity to deal with the sudden influx of souls. Many adults now are wondering around looking for work and opportunities that simply are not available or had been wanted.

The school at the moment seems to be the center of the strange behavior along with the bulge in transfer students that has caused the administration to take drastic measures. The sudden increase in student population has forced the school to close down many of its larger facilities so they can be converted into more classrooms. Spaces like the cafeteria, Gym, and Library have been sealed off from student use completely. This has meant that all lunches must now be brought from home or around the school and eaten in the classroom for now. To limit congestion in the halls between classes the school has also changed its policies so that the teachers now are the ones who now change classrooms instead of students Many of the school clubs have also taken responsibility of maintaining control with such few staff while in minor ways.

There has also been an increase in students suddenly fainting out of nowhere while on campus. The administration blames it on poor ventilation in the over crowded classrooms and have said that the problem will be resolved by the end of winter break. For now the nurse has had to resort to asking help from the health and wellness club whenever things get overwhelming. Likewise, the fledgling disciplinary committee has recently asked to take up the responsibility of keeping some of the peace between students when teachers are distracted.

The clubs seem to be going well and have started growing in popularity. People are falling in their roles for the most part with their activities. Because of the increase in students the time to choose clubs has also been extended for the new comers. Not everything is Rosie however, people are still getting signed up for random clubs by some group of trouble makers and the staff have yet to stop them with how busy they have become just keeping the school going. There have currently eleven proven cases of people signing up or forcing others into other clubs for one reason or another. There is no telling the actual number of affected students as some are using the student uproar over the bullies who go unpunished to do the exact same thing for their own reasons.

The shift in him was almost too obvious in many ways. He started complaining about his current living conditions in his college as soon as he stepped in the door. He also seemed suddenly concerned with you living on your own in a town like this. A fact, which he had never been overly bothered with before. He had always been consumed with not drawing unneeded attention by living together, or has his studies being interrupted. As he has stayed with you his priorities seemed to steadily shift without him even noticing. He still has great ambitions and a love for studying buy that has taken a secondary role. For now he seems to have instantly fallen in love with the town. He also has quickly dead set in moving in with you taking up what spare space you have with what little things he called in before the traffic really died out. He called a college buddy who drove him a hand full of things and now he is stuck in town as well. So for now he has only the bare necessities he needs almost completely forgetting or not caring about what was left behind.

Your brother was not the only one to find her way to the sleepy countryside looking for you.  A girl with blonde hair and a determined glint in her eyes found herself on the opposite side of the barrier. Despite the feelings of discomfort she managed to force herself to enter passed the invisible barrier after it had already gained full strength. Nothing was going to stop her from she was going to marry not even her would be husband. She is currently somewhere in town and cannot leave though she does not want to.

Your school life has been going pretty well the files you managed to grab off of that mysterious hard drive before it fried itself and your computer seem to have gone over swimmingly with the research club. The data seemed to include schematics for mechanized androids of some kind, a method for easy genetic sequencing, and all kinds of advanced weapons, and transportation. What looked like years worth of research had been stored on that drive, however everything had almost completely been destroyed when the firewall had activated. It will take a lot of time and work to fill in the gaps if you wanted to use it. And there is no way William will let the data go since you had to e mail it to him before your computer died. He has been analyzing the data almost nonstop since the day you sent it to him. He is constantly thinking up little experiments that the club would be capable of performing to further what you have found. He is currently interested in the genetic sequencing, and it would take some work to change his focus but not impossible.

The geology club is also in full swing. Though you have spent as much time talking about treasure hunting as you have rocks. You guys found maps of the entire area. Including topographical maps that look relatively old. The question becomes what to do with them. Your club mates all the while are making up fairy tails of what could be hidden away deep under ground. Some one had joked that perhaps that there were secret ruins somewhere under the school. You had all laughed at the joke the idea that something underneath the school was ridiculous. Otherwise you guys spent your time understanding stones and their properties. Things like gold and diamond that were more valuable to mine. Discovering a new ore or a huge vane of gold was another one everyone in the group only dreamed of.

Other then school and home who have noticed a number of interesting things in the passing days since you got the shock from your computer. The most obvious thing is that your blonde hair slowly grew lighter and lighter over the last two weeks until eventually all your hair has become pure white. What's stranger is the strange urge the strange dreams that have invaded your sleep. Dreams that were once solely filled with thoughts of magnets are now also being filled with thoughts of experimenting with science. You find that thinking of experiments that William is suggesting more and more absorbing. You have even thought of a few experiments of your own. The idea of experimenting over the last couple days has begun to fill your fantasies more and more. Perhaps the oddities of the research club are rubbing off on you more then you then you even have noticed.

Brian
Abridged Version
-1 short tempered
-1 Physical reaction (shirts/chest armor)
+1 Beauty
+1 knowledge (cooking)
You have had a tough two weeks so far. School seems to be getting crazier by the minute and your home life is no better. Both of you're parents have lost their jobs.  You are currently living with your mother hearing her yelling constantly on the phone as she tries and fails to find a new place to work. You have been left in charge of looking after your younger brother and make dinner every night.

Your sister has become busy with the Judo club she has been using you as her training dummy often when you don't expect it. Her propensity in starting fights like your own seems to be serving her well. She picked up the basics extremely quickly, and as a result you have found yourself flipped and in a grapple hold every time she is at home. Your brother has also enjoyed being a part of the gardening club at the local elementary school. You don't have much money to use on supplies but he tries his best to make it work. Everyday the club meets he has come home completely covered in dust and dirt.
As for your own school life the morale and togetherness club has only caused you trouble, the cooking club is in shambles as you all attempt to work things out in that mess of the room, and you have yet to get the memory of the absurdity of the night with the tennis girl out of your head. The morale and togetherness club is only just starting but it is already making you uncomfortable. Everyone was in butler and maid outfits by the end of the second meeting whether you wanted to or not. What's worse your certain someone must have put itching powder in your shirt at some point and strong stuff too, because ever sine that day you have felt the same intense itch across your chest and back whenever you wear a shirt for an extended period of time since then. The cooking club at least is fun in that you get to talk about the subject with like minds while trying to repair the room.

You have also noticed a number of physical changes in yourself. Any skin blemishes outside of scars like acne have almost completely vanished over the two-week period. Your teeth have also visibly brightened slightly each morning. It had been a little unsettling seeing your toothpaste becoming so yellow each morning. You also think your teeth look a little straighter each morning though you cannot be certain at this point.

Already in the morning Brian's mother was already on the phone, trying to find a job. It's been the same story for awhile now, but it wasn't anything new. Brian's sister already left to school for the morning, ever since she joined the Judo club she seemed to be just a bit more excited for it. Of course Brian knew she probably wouldn't have admitted it, and mirroring his own circumstances the cooking club became a respite for him.

As he made his way to school, he couldn't help but laugh at the changes so far. To think he would be willing to go to a club in the first place as entirely new, and not something he would have considered a year ago. The damn school wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. Lately there's been way too many kids, but they usually stayed away from him. As if on cue, one of the new kid started coming up to him. Probably to ask where some class was. All Brian did was stare at him, intensely, though not something he had meant to do. Fidgeting, the kid decided to change his mind, avoiding Brian completely and running over to some other student behind him.

Brian was neither late or early, entering the door just as other kids were doing so. He took his usual spot, wondering what their teacher had in mind for them next, or any of the other classmates.

Could that work?...No, no, not with Pyotr here now, I have no space for such a set up! I'll ask the club after classes if they may have a better place to perform such experiments...I already lost my computer, anyways, I don't want the whole room to blow! Haha!

Roman was already lost in thought, and had been since waking up that morning. Nothing but the revealed content of that flash drive had been on his mind for weeks. Every time a new detail was decoded, his mind raced back to his mental drawing boards, hoping to create something useful with the information. He already had a half-operable robotic arm thanks to William's determination. However, he knew he'd have much more if it weren't for his friend's obsession with the genetic data he'd recovered. Roman was a bit disappointed, as he wanted desperately to improve his robotics, but he respected the decision. After all, while robotics was essentially external change and aide, the genetic research recovered pointed to a lot of interesting improvements to the human body.

It's because the club has no idea what the research could be referring to that William is so absorbed in it. He isn't the only one absorb, either. Roman's dreams were becoming more vivid and outlandish, but the most unsettling part of it all was that they were making more and more sense. He'd wake up every morning with intriguing experiment ideas, and sometimes epiphanies over something stated in the research. It was all so exciting that he was starting to tune out his classes thinking about what he could do next. More and more he found himself twiddling his magnets in thought; he just considered himself lucky that he found many of the subjects easy enough that these distractions didn't greatly effect his grades.

Still in thought, and magnets already out, Roman made his way to his seat. He was on time, but he wouldn't have even noticed had he been late.

Brian

Brian got his answer sooner rather then later as an arm was thrown over his shoulders almost forcing him to fall from his chair. ?How?s it going Brian?? his assliant asked cheerfully before taking the chair in front of his desk and sitting backwards to face him with a large grin.

The boy had messy completely disheveled brown hair and stood at just around six foot accentuating  just how skinny the guy actually was. Richard Welsh was his name. The first day that Brian had met him really for the first time during the orientation meeting of the Student Moral and Togetherness club. Even thinking about the club made your entire chest begin to start to noticeably itch once again. Not that it had ever really stopped itching ever since that first day. You have even had to resort to going around shirtless at home most days just to make it stop. At least you could bare with it during school for now.

Have you heard by the way the girls went out and got us some more costumes to try on." Rich rolled his eyes slightly "playing dress up and learning about tea and junk isn't exactly my idea of fun I grant you, but you have to admit it has it's perks seeing the girls dress up too!"

There are five of you all together three guys and two girls each of varying classes. Every meeting the head of the club a senior girl who has taken complete control has been using the club binder to run the club. Drilling all kinds of manners and knowledge into your heads. All the while forcing everyone to wear themed costumes. Angelia you think her name is.  " And man whatever is in that tea really does some serious work my face has cleared up almost entirely!" You also have noticed similar strange changes in yourself, as well as an increase in people taking notice of you before running as usual.

One in particular is that girl Alicia she's been trying to coyly 'meet you' ever since that bizarre occurrence on the grounds. That kiss still vivid in your memories.
Take 5 points endurance damage

Roll one die to keep your shirt on.

6-4 able to maintain almost complete composure despite the itching.

3-2: the itching is quite annoying forcing you to squirm and try to get it to but you have the ability to play it off as nothing

1: the itching is really getting to you and it is showing. Due to the reaction still being week you do not have to lose the shirt, (though it is the quickest way to find relief) but if you don't satisfy the itching soon you'll lose all focus till you have taken care of it for the time being taking a minus one penalty
Roman

You hear someone take a seat heavily beside you. Brushing you as he goes by accidentally knocking one of the magnets in your grasp.

Oh sorry about that Roman let me grab that for you." Looking up it is none other then Wallace. The boy you had talked into joining the boxing club after some bullies had purposely signed him up for the sight of seeing him get pummeled. Over the last couple of weeks you two have begun a fledging acquaintance.

Most of the science stuff you talk about goes completely over the boys head but he often listens between moans of how he still gets picked on often enough.

Wallace has piqued your interest however as someone who has undergone drastic seemingly unprompted physical changes. As well as suffered from several of those mysterious fainting spells ever since that first day of classes. He has grown at least six inches in the last two weeks alongside losing a minimum of twenty pounds, (he is by no means skinny but you could swear his girth was becoming more then just fat) and yet is looking more and more out of place every day. Yet no one has commented in the slightest about his size or the changes in his attitude. You have only noticed a few changes in his demeanor as well as if he himself has taken no notice.

Memories of what happen on the school grounds with the tennis player come to mind. You need a second opinion however to be sure of anything.

You need more information about what is happening first before you can have a concrete theory. You do have a hunch however that the sudden fainting spells are connected somehow to the weird stuff you've been noticing. You need both more data and some help if you want to move forward. It is then that Brian catches your eye he had direct contact with the strange occrance perhaps you could get him to help. Also the files from the health and wellness club in the nurses office.

Though as you glance back at Wallace  he is a tempting target for study. and you feel something like an itch you can't scratch begin to form at the back of your brain when you think about the tests you could run.
Compulsion will test

Roll two die minus your compulsion die

Results:

6-4: you succeed in completely pushing through your compulsion and can focus at the task at hand

3-2 you only partially succeed in warding off your compulsion and must give into it somewhat, but you are able to keep in control of yourself for the most part and quickly return to task. You are also easily able to hide your actions and thoughts easily

1: you lose almost total control. You must begin testing him immediately. Possibly not even realizing what your doing until half way through. Due to the compulsion being weak you don't have to do anything to crazy but you must attempt to convince Wallace to allow the research club observer him and run tests before anything else. (Conversation battle)

The outcome of this roll has the possibility to affect your relationship points
"Here, " he smirks "so, how are you holding up with your brother in your place?"

"The tea's actually not that bad. I had some ideas about mixing some Campbell soup with it... Might just work. That club president better not force me to wear another one of those damn butler outfits though." Brian sighed. "I shouldn't have let the teacher choose my secondary club."

Usually others knew enough to stay away from him. But after this school year started, for some reason or another, more and more people had been approaching him, and in the case of some specific people, even bold enough to confront him. Even if it was something that seemed trivial like dressing up as a butler. It wasn't attention that Brian sought, and usually he would stay away from others just as they stayed away from him.

Either the world's going crazy or it's just how it is as people get older. Brian didn't put much more thought about it. He glanced at Richard, he didn't really talk to him all that often, nor anyone else for that matter. Though he had to admit, after joining the two clubs, conversing with others seemed to become a more commonplace.

"Yeah, so what's your story? How'd you end up in the 'Student Moral and Togetherness' club?"

Even as he spoke, Brian had this intense desire to strip off his shirt. He lightly clutched as his neck collar, pulling it forward, making it look like he was uncomfortable.

"Ah, thank you, Wallace!" Roman says as he quickly takes the magnet back and continues to fiddle with them. "Things are...odd, but I'm getting used to it. He certainly hasn't left me much space to experiment at home, so I've ended up sleeping here at the lab more than a few times! Roman laughs. He really didn't mind, of course; if anything experiments proceeded better at school, as there was better equipment. But suddenly having his brother as a roommate foiled his dream of turning the room into a lab of sorts. And that his brother was behaving so strangely didn't make things any easier.

"I just never expected him to act like this, he always seemed more cautious and calculating. Well, people change, after all, so it shouldn't be too surprising." Roman nodded to himself. However, he couldn't stop looking over Wallace. How in the world has he grown so much in so little time? Maybe he's doing something special in order to fit in better at the club? Or is it as I suspect, and similar to the tennis incedent...

"Wallace, have you been doing any sort of special training? I've noticed you gaining quite a bit of height lately. I nearly have to look up when talking with you now!" Roman laughs to hide the interrogative nature of the question. He wanted to know. God, did he want to know! How in the world has something so strange happened? Maybe there are a few tests I could run to solidify my assumptions! Yes, I could- no, no no. I will not submit one of my few good friends to testing. I couldn't...Could I?

Brian

Rich laughed brightly, "I know what you mean! Dressing up in that monkey suit the last couple of meetings has been a little weird? Richard brushed his hands through looked Brian over with a quizzical eye and a smirk still on his face. ?But then again look who I?m talking to! Looks to me as if someone has been working out a little bit to try and fill things out better? Wanting to look better for the ladies maybe?? Richard continued to laugh at the look on your face assuming that your look of discomfort from your itching chest is a look of begrudged agreement to his guess.

?Just kidding, Just kidding, so no need to worry about your bad boy image my lips are sealed. Though I?m sure that bulking up a little helps with that as well.? Richard continued to just smirk but did not push the issue further. He was known around school as a guy who tried his best to go with the flow and not be phased by most things. For that fact alone he seems to not comment on your continued discomfort.

?As for why I enjoyed the club, my friend Leo and I played a game to decide each others clubs and well I lost. At least a friend choose for me have you heard about those jerks who have been going around abusing the no changing club policy and forcing people into clubs they don't want? I heard some guys laughing about it in the hall after class. Apparently there is a group of juniors and seniors doing it for kicks. Someone needs to do something about them at least right? The problem is that no one has caught anyone in the act so they just get away with it.?

At this point the itching across your entire torso had spread so badly that it is almost unbearable. And you can simply no longer stand it.
-5 stamina and you must take your shirt off at some point during the next post.
Roman

"It must be nice having someone like your brother to have your back after though. It would have been nice at times to have a someone who cared like that."
He stared off somewhat wistfully into space at the thought. It left him caught somewhat off guard. He even missed his chance to ask if it was even legal for you to be sleeping on school grounds.

Wallace looks at you one eyebrow raised at the somewhat unexpected question. "No- nothing in particular just what the upper class man have us do. And I normally just end up being someone's punching bag. Not that I mind it or anything they treat me better then those senior jerks who go around bullying everyone."

As he mentions the people who were bothering him before you can see him sit up a little straighter his jaw clenching slightly almost a little intimidatingly. a strange energy around him. Almost immediately however he softens again his timidity returning. Before he looks back to you, and you could swear that his hair seemed a little wilder then a few moments before and just perhaps a little more uncomfortable in his seat.
You think you may need another opinion on the changes that are occurring around you. Though Wallace seems almost oblivious about any sort of difference. Perhaps you could get Brian's help if you talked to him. The health and wellness club had started doing physicals perhaps raiding there club room at lunch or after class would provide something useful.

"So why do you ask?"

Sam

You enter the classroom 2-C with a sigh. Only two weeks in and you've already had to change homerooms. All because some idiot wanted to pick a fight every morning the last couple of days. It had started the first day after clubs were chosen. People all around you started to act strange and seemed to be changing in front of your eyes. Not that you really cared to get involved with what happened to others until strange things started happening to you.

Picking clubs that had mandatory attendance was bad enough. But because of it now almost all your clothes are stained with varying amounts of paint and grass stains. Being part of the Gardening club meant that you now spend every other afternoon feeding a menagerie of small animals that the other members found and decided to take care of. Because they were also tending a small garden plot it meant that you had more responsibility for the beasts then you ever wanted. Your arms and face are often covered with scratches and you've had a band aid on a particularly bad gash on your check for a week now.

When your not there after class you've been in the art room trying to learn how to paint but struggling and spattering paint all over yourself. Most nights now you barely have time to surf the web let alone play a game before you end up passing out, your rankings in your favorite games have been suffering as a result. Even in the morning it's been harder and harder to get out of bed causing things like your chronic bed head even worse. Even when you try to tame it you only make it worse.

To make things worse all kind of stray animals have been following you and generally scratching or biting you where ever you go being a somewhat painful annoyance. You think it must be from what ever you get on you during the gardening club that is attracting them.
All that mixed together has left you in a very sour mood. So when one of the idiots tried to complain about you dozing off in homeroom the last few days u simply snapped resulting in the room change. As you sit at your desk in the back dozing off you can't help but over hear a conversation close by involving a bigger kid and a teen with a Russian accent.

The Russian kid seemed to have been noticing the strange occurrences around school as well, and you can't help but think you've seen him somewhere recently. Somewhere important but you can't quite remember. Maybe during the field trip before school started? Regardless, you can't help but find yourself curious about what's going on and he seems to know something. If you could get him alone to talk about it that is.

At this point it was already hard for Brian to contain it any longer. His face contorted into extreme discomfort. "This... shirt..." It was as if a thousand ants crawled over him. Scratching and biting as every part of his being wanted to desperately remove the cause of the discomfort. The prickling feeling was too much for Brian, and as he stood up his eyes were alight with flame. His breathing started becoming heavier, his eyes piercing as he looked at Richard.

Before anyone else could react Brian reached for the collar of his shirt, and in one fluid motion pulled it off. Immediately he felt the crawling sensations dissipate. There he stood standing, his shirt raised to the side. His chest bare for all to see.

Roman cocks an eyebrow, "You're still grudging over what they did, huh? I saw you tense up after mentioning them." Roman sighs when he sees Wallace get a little defensive. He quickly looks to Wallace after sighing, "No no, I wasn't judging your anger! You've every right to be upset." He then turns to stare off to the side as he continues to talk, taking up a serious expression. He was no fan of bullying either, after all. "But if you keep being mad at them and fighting against what they did to you, then they're getting what they want; they've won. Instead of fighting actively, you should show them that what they did DOESN'T bother you."

"I, for one, think you're better off now than when I first met you."
Roman looks back to Wallace reassuringly. "You've grown stronger, and hold yourself with a bit more confidence. You should be proud of the change caused by joining the boxing club. If anything, I think they'd be afraid to bully you now." Roman laughs. "They've made their victim stronger than they are!" Still smiling, Roman adds, "Just make sure that when push-comes-to-shove, you don't stoop to their level."

"And as for why I had been asking all the sudden, I was just-" Roman was cut short by the sudden squeals of the girls in his class. Looking around, he noticed something odd. Quite odd. Brian is shirtless. Brian is shirtless? Brian is SHIRTLESS. What the hell is going on!? Roman's jaw had dropped.

"...Brian is shirtless..." Wallace echoes off to the side, as though he'd known exactly what Roman had been thinking. Then again, who WASN'T thinking it?

Roman quickly gets up and marches up to his friend. "Brian, what in the world are you doing!?"

Sam meanders toward the back of the room and plops himself down on an empty seat. Being careful to not be near a fellow person, he tries to shrink back into the corner as much as possible, evading the rays of light coming in from the window. Propping his head up with an arm, he glances over to where the foreign kid was sitting, talking to his friend. "The last thing I want is getting in the middle of a social interaction," he thinks to himself. "But the only way I can tell I'm not hallucinating from lack of sleep is unfortunately confirming my suspicions with another person."

Sam sighs to himself at the thought of having to trouble himself with the thought of actually picking up a conversation with someone. With all this club activity, he came to the sad realization that he had not chosen the easiest clubs he could possibly think of. What happened to his slacking time? Everything was perfectly planned out, he would use the downtime from the clubs to sleep, thus continue fueling his late night game runs, High ranked tournaments were beginning in a few weeks and he had to stay on top of his game, but now that he has sold his soul away, he feared the worse.Even how significant it was, he had a duty to uphold his reputation with the online community, after all who else would they hand the title to.

Still deciding on how to approach the foreign kid with a few quick questions, a rustle of bodies and feminine squealing stirred him from tempting sleep spells. Darting his eyes, he noticed an unfamiliar kid quickly rise out of his chair, obviously frustrated about something. With a lightning quick pose, the random kid ripped his shirt off his torso, catching the attention of everyone in the room.

Shocked and a little confused, Sam pressed his head in his hand closing his eyes, resting his temples between his thumb and middle finger. What has he gotten himself into now? "First nosey intruders, and now this! Crazy Exhibitionists who strip on a whim." "Perhaps it was not too late to change Homerooms again?"  By this point he deemed it impossible to engage in one on one conversation with the foreign kid and rose out of his seat. Placing his backpack on his desk, he fluidly opens the large compartment and pulls out a pillow, followed by a light blanket. Emptied of contents, the bag holds no more value to him as he tosses it over to the side, proceeding to clear a small section in the back corner for sanctuary.

After these crazy people go away, he decided he'll slip a note into the foreign kid's desk and hopefully catch his attention sometime tomorrow. Unable to fight off the urge to sleep, he plops his pillow down on the ground and disappears from the world.

Your vision swims fore a few moments as everything goes out of focus and telescopes as a cool breeze eases the itching to a stop and your pulse begins to go back to normal. Wiping the sweat from your brow and hair which dies not move form it?s new slight sweptback position and holding your head the moment of weakness quickly passes. With your wits about you the realization of what you have just done and where begins to way back on you. Your body also feels a good deal lighter as if you have lost a huge weight off your back. You can see multiple people staring in your direction most other wise they have all quickly turned their head and are obviously pretending not to notice. However in such a packed room it would have been impossible to miss it.
New description your hair is now considered naturally spikey and messy. It most often sits somewhat standing up and swept back unless you really work at changing it.
"Hey Casanova everything okay there? You really want the attention of the girls that bad huh?? Rich laughed obviously not that bothered by the loss of outerwear. He however does squint at something on your chest for a moment. ?Hey dude you might want to get that mole on your chest checked out.? Glancing down you see that there is a ink black spot righ where your heart should be. Otherwise Richard keeps chatting and poking a little fun at you as if nothing has changed.
As Roman walks up Richard stops mid sentence giving him a chance to talk. "Brian, what in the world are you doing!?"
Please make a 2d6 awareness check
Roman
Your conversation with Wallace now cut short by the spectacle that was Brian at this moment you can't help but wonder what got into the guy to just rip his shirt off in the middle of a packed class room. Most of the initial onlookers are now trying their best to avoid eye contact or pretend nothing is going on. Those who refuse to turnd away seem to mostly be glued to him. Brian was deceptively built no doubt from all his times fighting on the streets. In fact it is surprising that he has been able to keep this kind of figure hidden with just a shirt alone. Many of the girls who are still staring are obviously quite taken with the scene. And maybe does he stand a little taller then he did before? And maybe his hair seemed to be in a weird almost spiky combed back shape after he wiped his shirt off.
Wallace turned back to you soon after as the rest of the class began to go about their business.  He watched you go with a slightly touched look on his face before going back to fiddling with his schoolbooks once again.

Sam
As you drift off to sleep you find yourself in a vivid dream. You find yourself in a black void. Floating in the oblivion you try your beast to orient the ground from the ceiling but it is almost impossible. That is until a blue winged butterfly flutters it?s way across your vision. After batting the insect away from your eyes you see a table with a purple tablecloth and a shining crystal ball. Sitting in the lone oak chair at the table is a hooded woman staring into the orb. The only problem was the entire scene was taking place on only what you could assume to be a ceiling. Most of her features are obscured by the shadows created from her hood. Only her crimson lips and a strand of purple almost blue hair hanging down.

It took her a second to look up and realize that she was not alone and that you were floating in the distance. A smile creeps it?s way across her face and she pulls something what looks like an old antic book with some sort of writing from her robes. Placing it onto the table she taps it with one finger seeming to mark it as significant. ?The emotions are the key.? She whispered just loud enough to hear. Before she said more however you awoke with a start from the final bell of the beginning of the first period.

General

Besides Brian?s initial outburst the rest of the school day goes by relatively quietly. Classes are as crowded as ever but you were able to get through the day without much issue. The only time you have to do much or to roam the school is during the one hour that is allotted to lunch otherwise you?re in classes or preparing for clubs. So far you have to major choices of what you want to do with that hour that you?ll have to decide to as a group if you want to get anything meaningful done.

The first option is one of particular interest to Roman. You could stop by the Nursing office, which also acts as the main archive and meeting room for the Health and Wellness Club. From there you may be able to find something within their newly created records on every person in this school as to what may be happening to everyone. At least having records might provide a place to start.

The second option is possibly trying to deal with the students who have been abusing the club sign up against those they do not like. The Disciplinary Committee and teachers have put out the call to anyone who can get information on who exactly these students are and proof that they have done it. They are offering a reward of some sort though they have not actually said what it would certainly be something worthwhile Maybe you could ask around or go to the Disciplinary club committee as to ways to start. However, whoever these people are most likely will not go quietly when you find them.

There is a third option however, to ignore both and spend your lunch with friends. If necessary you could even try to break into the school after it closed. You could have a few different opportunities then.

Roman approaches Brian, out of earshot of Wallace, as he's one of the reasons for what he was about to propose. "I'm going to head to the Nurse's office to see if I can get a look at Wallace's record. He's had an abundance of physical changes, but I feel like I'm the only one who has really taken notice. But obviously I can't just walk in and look, I'll need help with some sort of distraction. Though I'm not sure if it'll be enough, would you be willing to help? Plus, I feel like it may be good to have you checked out as well, are you alright from earlier?" Roman looks Brian over in a bit of concern.

It's now that he notices the changes in Brian as well. The height and hair specifically. This has to be the workings of...whatever happened that day at the museum. I don't know what to make of all this! Roman then lost himself in thought, puzzling over what exactly was going on, and more so what he could do about it.

Sam grasped the nearby desk for support as he pulled himself up to a sitting position. "Why do those bells have to be so loud," he thought to himself as he grabbed his backpack. Packing the pillow away, he groggily rose to his feet, his chaotic bed head matching his upset mood. He considered himself of superior imagination, but the creepy old lady in the the robes left him confused about what to think. "...emotions....key....." he muttered, losing himself in thought.

A not so distant conversation rose him from his thoughts as he thought he heard Roman saying something. "I'm going to head to the Nurse's office.....records....physical changes....."

An opportunity came to Sam's mind. This could be his chance to confront Roman about what he knows and gets some answers for himself. "But...to the Nurse's office?"  Sam scratched at a few of the fresh scratches on his arm in frustration. "It's...so far away though..." He didn't have to go. Instead he could sit down in his quiet little corner and vanish into his void. Looking about the room, he was once again reminded of the shirtless man that seems completely oblivious to his topless nature.

A scowl crossed Sam's face as he thought of his options. "Taking a slight walk wouldn't be too bad I guess." He slings his backpack over his shoulder as he makes to follow Roman out the door. "Better than dealing with some crazy kid whose mind apparently rotted under too much sun. Which is why I don't like going outside."

"Brian, what in the world are you doing!?"

It didn't even register on Brian that he took off his shirt, not until Roman mentioned it. He just had to get rid of that horrible itching and burning sensation that clawed at him. That feeling was simply too uncomfortable for the delinquent.

"What the-" Brian replied immediately. He hastily pulled back his shirt, and began placed it back on. There was no trace of blushing or awkwardness from Brian, though he figured he should put the clothing back on anyways if only to stop the strange glances given his way. Why would he care anyways?

"Feels like the world is going haywire if you ask me." Brian said, both in reply to Rich and Roman. He pushed his hands through his hair again, it was a frequent habit, though this time around he did notice it felt a bit different. His hair was just a bit more coarse than usual.

"Might need some new conditioner." The student continued when he noticed Roman's stare.

For a moment you could feel something was different that much was sure as you slipped on your shirt once again. You notice that to look at Roman you now have to look slightly further down then before.  As well as some general growing discomfort with the fit of the clothes setting in every seemed normal.

Roman raised an eyebrow, "Yes, yes, you've physicall changed. That's what I've been SAYING. Which is why I want your help at the nurse's office getting those files. Roman begins to walk off toward the office a little, "Are you coming or not? We don't have much time."

Roman was getting a little anxious not only because he was trying to do something against the rules, but he couldn't shake the feeling he was being followed in some way.

Sam quietly slipped out of the room and waited around the corner for Roman to finish his conversation. "Better to approach while no one is around, makes it easier to talk with no distractions." Standing in silence, he could hear the energized Roman discussing non discreetly with some of the classmates. "Are you coming or not...." drifted out of the doorway to an unsuspecting Sam.

"Wait....someone else might get involved?" Being someone who thought one was company and two a crowd, letting even another person or two could throw off his entire day. Despite his fretting, something stapled his foot to the ground. He was curious about asking Roman about what he knew, but was something else edging him on. Was he possibly getting excited about something in the real world for a change? Sam crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. "You need to get some sleep man..." he muttered to himself, "you're obviously falling over the deep end."

"It's not like I have anything else better to do." As he talked, he felt a chill down his spine however, he glanced around seeing if anyone was eyeing him. Something made him uncomfortable, but he wasn't quite sure what.
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 6, total 7[/blockquote]
When Roman mentioned how he had physically changed, Brian gave him a strange look, raising an eyebrow as if questioning what the kid had said. "I feel pretty normal... you know, a bit more refreshed than usual each morning. If I didn't know any better it would seem I was starting to like school." He stopped dead short, considering his words. There was he new club, unlike in previous years he had begun starting to talk with fellow classmates more often, maybe it was just his mind and body's way of telling him he was getting just a bit more excited for school.

Brian scoffed at the notion.

"Being a distraction? Sure makes the lunch break more interesting."

Good. Let's go fast. I need to see those records to confirm what's going on." Roman said, and quickly began heading to the nurse's office. Luckily it wasn't too far from the class room, just one floor down and at the end of the hall. He desperately wanted to see those files to make sure he wasn't going mad. And then I can find out if there are any good candidates for study...what am I thinking!? I am going mad...

Finally they reached the room. "So, either we keep her busy in the room, or call her away, as though something happened on the grounds while I search...which do you think is best?"

Roman

Roman's train of thought was cut off however by the sound of the first period bell ringing before he could make is way to look inside the nurse's office to begin to get a look. Now forced to head back to class or risk being caught skipping and getting in trouble tarnishing a perfectly good record. Not wanting to do that he and the others are left with their thoughts about how to sneak in the relatively small room unnoticed.

If you look at Wallace sitting diagonally to left of you it is almost comical how he looks sitting in a desk that is maybe half a size to small for him. And in this heat he keeps messing with his hair short black hair look messy as it stood up in an od way almost as if he had styled it on purpose.

But you certainly don?t envy him in this cramped of a room it looks like he is one of the few really suffering from the combination of both the august and body heat. Over the four periods between Homeroom and Lunch he has basically completely sweated through the over shirt he was wearing and was forced to digging his gym t-shirt out of his bag and changing between classes out of the normal long sleeve shirt and hoodie he normally wore to disguise his own body image issues.

Brian

Brian following suit as many of the others is able to pretend as if it is solely the heat that is causing him to pull at his shirt when in actually the heat is not his only problem. At least five times during class he pulls at his collar to relive the itching that is building up as it has before homeroom. However, unlike last time he is able to abate whatever was causing the irritation enough to live with it.

Anyone who glanced around could see that there were a still a few girls and guys giving him odd looks every now and again, but his aura as a bit of an outcast kept most of it at bay. Richard also seems to have switched seats to the one right in front of you as well despite any protest you may have given and the teachers are so flustered with just trying to teach so many people they did not seem to notice

Sam

They kept the window closed the entire day. That in its own way was both a blessing and a curse. They wanted to keep what non exsistant cool air there was in the room inside and the august heat out which left Sam sweating like a dog. Sam?s mind wonders back to the gardening club in that moment one of the members a boy was talking about maybe looking for a mascot pet or two for the club maybe one of the stray animals that have been finding you might work if you come across one you like.

Otherwise his plan to follow the other two boys to the nurse?s office for answers seems sound. Though, if he really wanted a clear picture he would have to find a way to introduce himself so that he could either convince them that he could help them since what they were planning to do would no doubt get them in trouble if they they got caught. So there is that.

General
Classes continue as usual for the rest of the morning. Even in these cramped spaces the teachers continue to try their best to maintain control. A couple people called out for whispering or not knowing the right answer every now and again but over all really nothing of note. In fact it is so peaceful that one or two guys in the back of the class room around Brian have their heads covered in there books napping.

The worst thing about having to sit mostly silent through class is the heat. the school itself does not have very good air conditioning so with this many bodies in a room it can get oppressive. Most people who aren't talking or sleeping are occasionally drinking water or lifting their shirt collars to try and get relief.

Otherwise everything goes by relatively smoothly. With those few moments you have between classes you just are able to prepare and listen to a little bit of gossip.

The growing prowess of the delinquents that were continuing to terrorize the new club systems that you chose to ignore for now seems to be quite the hot topic.
Otherwise, a couple other rumors seem to be really getting traction around the students. Things like the faculty thinking of implementing some kind of new dress code in the coming months due to the influx of students for instance.

The club system seems to be accidently promoting people to fall into cliques that they are having trouble escaping. That means that people might not be to receptive to you unless you can persuade them that you can help, you have similar interests, or they are really suffering and looking for help and with your group being so small raiding the nurses office might not be hard but anything too much bigger and you will need at least another classmate to help you if not more.

They also all seem to be varying problems either with the school or personally at home but no one other then you three seem to have made any sort of had way. There apparently rumors of adding a help-wanted board for solving problem around the school. In fact it seems that it is already in place in the main entrance way of the school set up by the temporary student council. Using that board would most likely be the east way to build good relations with the other students and working towards figuring things out moving forward.

Nurse?s Room

Once lunch rolls around the teacher leaves the class to their own devices for about an hour give or take. Meaning that things would have to move fast if you wanted to get a look at the files. As the three of you dodge out of class and make your way to the office you make it there without much issue. When you finally arrive after pushing past people and down the hall, you all find the room unusually empty With the Heavy oak office door closed. You would have to check but you can assume that it is locked

The nurse?s office is one of the most used but smallest rooms in the entire school.
It is shaped like an equilateral ?L? shape. With the bottom leg of the ?L? used as an office and examination room for weight and height checks. Do to security matters that part of the room has a secondary door that is kept locked unless you have a key.
From what you can remember the office is pretty small, but none of you have spent enough time here to remember everything in there.

The rest of the space is used for the three bed set ups that students can us at will to rest or to weight to be seen by the nurse or one of the few health and wellness members. The outer door that leads out to the rest of the school is a lot thinner then the interior door and is kept often pretty much the rest of the day.

The room itself is just wide enough to fit two of you standing side to side comfortable otherwise if you were willing to take your time then all three could squeeze past one another.

"No one to distract, so that leaves one thing out of the plan." Brian flicked a finger at the supposed locked door. "I don't suppose either of you have a key?"

The question was more rhetorical, he doubted anyone simply had a key on them that happened to open school office doors. But it was to bring up conversation more than anything else. Either way, Brian held the door's knob, and gave it a twist and push in the off-chance that it was unlocked.

Brian

From what you can see their does not appear to be much obviously out of the of the ordinary in the office at first glance.  The beds were sparse at first glance and most of the medical supplies that seemed readily available in this main room did not seem very interesting. One thing did standout to you however in the far corner of the room just out of view of the single window was an old wooden cabinet that was dark with age. There seemed to be some kind of bronze work on the four dozen small cabinets that lined the thing. But it was so old by this point that it was impossible to make out what exactly had been there. On each of the door knobs there were strips of paper attached. Most likely they were some method of labeling what lay inside each one.

Otherwise feeling around the door frame you feel a small key. Fitting it into the locked door you feel a soft click signaling that it is unlocking.

General

In that moment you all hear the knob to the Nurses room turning you all freeze in that instant caught in the act of sneaking into the side room and watch as a young girl walks whom you recognize from your time at the museum. It is in fact Ardelia She is clutching her head slightly and seems to be looking off in the distance for a moment not even registering that others are in the room for a moment.

Ardelia

You are whispering to the spirit Feron that has been following you around for a few weeks or so now when you enter the office. Your body is sore from the last set of kendo training from the previous night and you are spending what time you have to rest in an attempt to stay awake during class. That is if your new companion allows you to catch some sleep. The would be knight seems to get pretty bored when he just has to sit through your classes silently though he does seem to take an interest in a few subjects. As you enter the office clutching your head Feron is complaining about not being able to remember much about his past for the upteenth time when you finally catch the three boys in the act of breaking into the locked back room

"Feron. Can you please be quiet? My head is really hurting." Ardelia was whispering to her companion. It had been a few weeks, and she had adjusted a bit to life with the spirit but it was still tough to get used to always having someone around. Especially someone that was -that- restless.

Ardelia turned the knob on the door to the nurses office and walked in complaining quietly. "Kendo really does take it out of you... Maybe I'll be able to get some rest though." As the door creaks open, Ardelia walks in on auto-pilot, but after several steps notices three boys frozen in the back of the room. Two of them were familiar faces, the third was someone she can't remember seeing.

"Brian, Roman, and... A stranger?" She tilted her head in slight confusion. I really thought I knew everyone at the school. Well, I guess resting will probably be out of the question.  "So what are you guys doing here?"

This was it for Sam, the sound of the office door opening spelled doom and disaster for any reputation he may have built up. Which would be nothing, since he sits around all day and hides in the back corner like a vampire avoiding direct sunlight. He could not be seen actively engaging in an activity, especially such an illegal one. What would people think? Exactly! They would start thinking about him, which means more confrontations and more people to invade his personal space.

Beginning to suffer from a slight panic attack, he took hold of the nearest stable thing and tried to catch his breath. On the bright side though, he could possibly be suspended for the first time in his life and live out the next few weeks in his basement with nothing but the internet and his favorite games. Looking over to what he had grabbed, he quickly realized he was now leaning on Brian's shoulder. A bolt of cold ice shot down his spine as he realized he was making physical contact with another human being.

Ah shit. Here it is. Doors creaking open, and here we go again getting another lecture from some teachers. It was at that moment when Sam had leaned into him. Brian raised an eyebrow.

But as Ardelia appeared, Brian shrugged. No teacher this time around, which made their little investigation work that much easier. He didn't really know the girl though, but recognized her from the past. She could very well be one of those well-to-do types.

"Brian, Roman, and... A stranger? So what are you guys doing here?"

"Well..." He glanced at Roman and Sam. "My bud here was... having a headache." Brian's voice took on a ton of tensity. as he awkwardly placed his arm around Sam's.

"So... Roman and I, decided to... take him into the nurse?" He proceeded to wrap his arm around Roman as well, a fake smile on his face.

"I think? Ha... hah..."

Roman froze for a moment, and saw both of his friends do the same. But upon turning around, he realizes that it was a familiar face. After studying the girl while remaining motionless, he calmed a bit. He was almost certain she had been with them at the museum. What was her name again...It started with an 'A'. Amelia? No, no, what was it? AH! Ardelia!

"Ardelia! I am glad it was you and not a faculty member of some sort." He turned to Brian, "No need for that, she was at the museum with us." With a smile that was betraying his excitement at a possible lead for the mystery, he turned back to Ardelia, "I'm sure you've noticed by now, but things have been changing around here. We were investigating if some of the more...physical changes are recorded in the school health records, or if they show how we feel we remember them. Help us search! And maybe point out any others you know to have changed."

I just KNOW Wallace grew! And so many other things happened! If these records were changed without a trace as well, then it could only be some sort of miracle. Magic! Not even a severe distortion in the flux of the Earth's magnetic field could cause something like this.

Ardelia chuckled at the awkward situation the stranger had gotten himself into, and tried to process what the other two boys were saying. Brian sounded quite suspicious. Roman's words sounded a lot more like what was actually happening. A lot of things seemed to be suddenly different. She felt shorter, and she knew that magic wasn't something that was an every day occurrence, even if it HAD existed prior to whatever was happening. She had to look up a lot more often when she was talking to people, often enough that it seemed odd.  She shot glare towards Brian before speaking.

"You know, you didn't need to lie." Ardelia turned away from Brian, slightly disgusted and started to talk to Roman.
"I do feel like something has changed, well, several things really. I don't really know what is going on but if there is something that I can do to help, I would be willing too give it a try. My brother and some of my friends seem to be acting a bit differently lately too... And there was that whole thing with the basketballs... So what's the plan?" Ardelia asked with a smile, as she abandoned her plan of getting a nap in.

"I do have this key I found." He showed the key he had found earlier, open on his palm in plain sight to see. He pointed to the door that lead in.

"It did open that door. And since we're here we might as well open it all the way..."

This was well beyond the limits that Sam was willing to exert today. In fact, this could count toward his whole energy supply for a month....a year even. He was gonna have to spend a lot of extra time sleeping just to catch up, but all that extra sleeping sounded like work, sending his mind into a horrible conundrum. As if a chime from heaven, Brian suggests the group continue on their perilous adventure beyond the door. All the dormant sensors in Sam's brain immediately went off in a short lived "light bulb" moment. Perhaps he could venture his way toward the back of the group and suddenly disappear, perhaps even finding himself mysteriously arrived at his house, in his bed, all decked out in his favorite gaming PJ's. Slowly, and nonchalantly, he began making his way toward the exit....

Just as Brian was unlocking the door to the space that meant they would get in real trouble if they were caught the sound of some high heeled shoes and a pair of voices walking down the hall. It sounds like the nurse talking to some student.

If you all get caught now there will be undoubtedly serious consequences. luckily as Sam finds out the door leading out to the hallway and safety is both closed and wedged shut buying a few moments to come up with a plan and act.

Behind the door that Brian opened is the large old computer system that stores all the medical files on top of a desk with a few draws. Office supplies and papers

Various bits of medical supplies

A metal cabinet for the various pills against the back wall

And a large single pain window looking out to a space behind the school with a tree near buy. You probably only have five or ten minutes before they come in

Ardelia looked at the room as Brian opened the door. It was not something she expected to see inside of a nurses office. After looking at it in wonder for a few moments, she heard the footsteps and chatter that everyone else seemed to hear as well. "So... Getting caught is bad right?" Ardelia let out a nervous chuckle before motioning to the room before her. "Does it look like we'd all be able to fit in here?"

She didn't know if her idea would work, but it was definitely better to try something instead of getting caught. She looked at the others, her head tilted slightly, curious if they had any ideas for how the group could get out of this situation.

His shirt was getting itchy. As his classmates around him continued to talk and plan, Brian couldn't help but start feeling very antsy with his shirt. He resisted the urge as he heard the sound of footsteps coming. It was likely the nurse.

Brian had only participated with the cooking club, and though he's gotten to know more of his classmates since - a surprising fact to himself as well. Never did he think that he'd ever come to a situation where he would be working alongside fellow students on something more than just schoolwork.

"Well Roman did mention he wanted a distraction." He pointed to the bed as he started to climb on top of it.

"Might as well be one. If the nurse gets in, I'll keep her distracted."

Sam now found himself morally trapped with the other schoolkids, all crammed inside the small nurse office. As soon as one of the kids volunteered themselves as a distraction, he knew he couldn't just abandon the group as they readied themselves for deep spec-ops style action. Giving up any hopes of getting home early, he sauntered over with the rest of the guys began to peer through the newly unlocked door. He began to weigh his options of how he could help the group without looking like the lazy bum he actually was.

Option 1: He could jump on the computer and use his finely tuned keyboard skills to help find the information they need faster.
Option 2: He could check the window and see if they could use it as a liable way of escape.
Option 3: Valiantly sacrifice himself with shirtless wonder and lay on one of the other beds, hoping that two kids would occupy more of the nurse's time than just one.

He quickly scratched out option 3. Being questioned by a school nurse was one of the last things he wanted. He would probably be forced to answer all sorts of stupid questions and make up some random story as to why he was in the office. Option 1 didn't seem very viable to him either. Looking through all the files sounded tedious and work extensive, not to mention the pressure he would feel from the others regarding their inevitable doom by the hands of the nurse. Slipping through into the room, he began to inspect whether or not the window would work as a decent escape option.

Glancing at his fellow students, he wondered how in the world did he manage to find himself in such a situation. Yet at the same time, it felt as if this was natural. He couldn't quite explain it, and Brian was never the one to think too deeply in those type of things. He shrugged as he trained his eyes on the door to the office.

"Don't have a lot of time guys." Brian whispered, trying to keep his voice with a sense of urgency, but not too loud to alert the oncoming nurse.

Brian was getting antsy. Was it the temperature of the room? Did the office not have air conditioning? Or perhaps it was the fact they were sneaking around? Something he ate? And why in the world does my damn shirt feel so itchy.

"Now's as good a time as any." Roman says, barely hiding his excitement to finally answer the question he'd had for days. Are people changing suddenly and unnaturally? Seeing that time was short and the distraction was set, he rushed into the computer room with Ardelia. Though not a computer wizard by any means, he had ample skill with data archiving and management as a scientist. He could most likely manage something useful here.

He walked up beside Ardelia, who was just about to begin searching. "Mind if I take a look with you?"

As the group continues to riffle through the nurse's office to see what they can find. The door opens and in walks a slender woman in his later twenties walks in. Ms, Eliza Hawthorne had been the school nurse for the last two or three years. She was eating something in a small bowl with chop sticks when she saw Brian. "Oh I'm sorry have you been waiting long? I was out getting something to eat for a moment. I was sure I left the door locked..." She took a moment to shake the thought out of her head and tend to the matter at hand. Sitting down in her office chair she put her food on the table and smiled bright so what seems the problem to be?

By luck or sheer oversight on the nurses part her computer opens up without asking you for any kind of log in information. You take a moment to search through the things on file and find at first glance nothing out of the ordinary. You find a log of students and medicine or treatments given for headaches or cuts. It seems that more people then usual have been stopping by complaining of stress. You do find however that the sports documents for the start of the new season provides something useful.

There appears to be a surprisingly large influx of people applying for all kinds of sports and from the names you recognize many who would have not done so in the past. The nurse has cataloged different things for the coaches files that may hold the answer. Copying that info will take no time at all since you managed to get into the system so easily. However as you continue to search through the files one catches your eye in particular.

"New School Medical trials" stands out as a locked folder. It won't be hard to hack but it will take a moment to do so time you may not have.

Sam
Looking out the window you see that it is in fact not locked and is but a short jump to a nearby tree that locked at first glance stable enough to climb. If you miss the jump however its a good one story drop straight down.

Ardelia scanned the office, hoping to find a place to slide her small frame into, one such place existed, next to an anatomy doll. How perfect, the girl thought, as she slid past Roman clacking away at the computer and tried to slide in with the anatomy doll. It might be cozy, but it could keep her hidden.

It took a bit of internal convincing, but Roman decided the discovery was not worth the chance of getting caught. Instead, he made sure to gather the information records of suspicious individuals; students and such that had undergone what he remembered to be strange changes. Roman decided a sample size of 5 would suffice, so he took out his personal flash drive, plugged it into the computer and began copying the chosen records. He then took time to cover his tracks, making it look exactly like he had found it, and slipping his flash drive back into his pocket.

Now...how to get away from this computer without seeming suspicious.

He'd only realized after pulling his flash drive that the nurse was back and had just asked what was the matter. Ardelia and I are both back here...I will not abandon a friend...what will work and NOT land us a detention...AH!

Roman steps out from behind the corner, "Ah! Ardelia, it's Nurse Hawthorne! Thank goodness." Roman addressed Ardelia and motioned for her to come out with a wink. "Ardelia and I were trying to find something for our friend's stomach. It was a little upset, and we wanted to have something on hand in case it got worse. You weren't in, so we got to searching. Sorry to intrude!" Roman was as beaming and friendly as was normally. And really hoped the lie panned out. "I don't think he needs anything yet- well, you're the expert on that- but what do you have for food-related stomach aches?"

The lie was as realistic a lie as he could craft, but his nerves were still on edge.

When Roman started to talk, Ardelia glared daggers at him. He was lying, and it didn't even sound that convincing. She began to wish that she had just sat outside and waited for Nurse Hawthorne to return. When Roman winked towards her, she wanted to cringe.

Ardelia rose to her feet, and slid out from her little hiding spot. She sort of staggered out into the main part of the nurse's office. "Hello, Nurse Hathorne." Ardelia smiled at her, as best as she could given the circumstance. "I'm not feeling so great today, so I came to see you, hoping that I could take a nap. But you weren't here, and these guys asked me for help so I agreed. Sorry for intruding while you were gone. If you don't mind though, I'd like to lay down." She made her way to the bed, flashing another smile to Nurse Hawthorne before sitting on a bed.

When Ardelia finished, Brian, already on one of the beds stretched. He shirt was damn itchy, it felt as if the shirt was hindering him, and he had this innate desire to get rid of the damn thing. Every inch of him screamed to take it off. But his rational mind kept telling him not to. This internal struggle continued for what seemed like an eternity, until finally, Brian gave in.

He couldn't take it anymore.

With one fluid motion he stripped his shirt off.

"Nurse!" Brian said as he heaved and breathed heavily and his eyes staring deeply into the nurse's own. He couldn't help that his voice sounded husky, keeping his shirt on did take a lot out of him.

"I was waiting for you." He said at the nurse, lying down on the bed half-naked.

Nurse Hawthorne does not seem even to be shocked by this sudden display of bare skin in her work space being not only the school nurse but the head of the school injury program due to budget cuts she did not hesitate to look over the other two. "My apologizes but no one is meant to be in the back office except for me." She swiftly glances back from where the other three were and holds out her hand, "And I would appreciate the key back if you wouldn't mind." She was smiling kindly seeing that they had obviously been rummaging around in her things even if she had seemed to catch them before they got their hands on anything dangerous. She clearly remembered having left that door locked in the first place and their failed attempts at covering only made it more apparent.

But looking over Ardelia seeing the bags under her eyes she took a moment to chuckle to herself. All these kids seemed exhausted the last couple of days and it was her job as a teacher to help them where she could. "Lets make a deal you all leave here and promise not to go sneaking around  poorly into other peoples things. As well as give me some help after school putting up for school wide physical evaluation flyers and we can put this whole thing behind us. Deal?"

The idea of 'free' labor seemed to make her smile a little brighter then it should have. But there were only so many people in the health and wellness club and they needed to cover a fair bit of ground.

Roman gave a semi-forced smile, recognizing that he'd been seen through. No use trying to argue now, this isn't a deal, it's an ultimatum. We'll be in trouble OFFICIALLY if we refuse. Roman was a little disappointed by his friends' response, with Ardelia removing herself from direct association, and Brian's over-the-top reaction. She just needed to act like she'd been searching with him, and he like he had a stomach ache. Perhaps I needed to explain aloud...and why does Brian always end up shirtless lately...it's creeping me out. Well, what's done is done, and the sooner we get out of here, the sooner I can experiment- no, research using the data I recovered.

"Certainly we'll help! It's a deal. What needs to be done?" Roman announced genuinely, happy they were at least given an out from this situation. he didn't wish to jump from a window, after all.

"Ah damn, at least I tried." Brian said almost nonchalantly.  He laid back on the bed however, listening to the conversation between Roman and the nurse. With the shirt off he felt a lot more relaxed, and he found the bed much more welcoming as he simply continued to rest on it.

The nurse was forcing them to do some sort of task, but Brian didn't mind. In fact, with how comfortable the bed was and how free he felt without the shirt, he felt as if he would say yes to anything.

Ardelia was glad that she wouldn't be getting in trouble. Putting up posters wasn't too bad. She was still pretty tired though. She looked up at Nurse Hawthorne, clearly exhausted. "Nurse Hawthorne, I'll gladly help you with the posters, but would it  be alright if I took a nap for now?" Ardelia smiled weakly, hoping for a favorable reply.

"I have enlisted the Health and Wellness club with some new protocols that the school wants me to put into place as such I need to start hanging flyers for the sake of the students. Some of the coaches and teachers have been complaining about students fainting in classes and the like so I thought why not try and get out ahead of the issue." She smiled, "Its my job to protect the body and minds of the students after all." She moved past Roman and the others to her desk in the back room then back again with a flyer with a well done but somewhat basic picture of a smiling sun and a red cross logo.

"The club worked hard making this up in hopes that if someone isn't feeling well then they'll come here for a break and a check up. So now we have to put them up along all the major halls. Its better to do those sorts of things after all the classes are done." Responding to Ardelia's request she smiled, "Absolutely fine stay here until you have your next class"

With that she shooed anyone without actual reason to be there out of her office.

"Thank you Nurse Hawthorne!" Ardelia smiled as the others were shooed from the office. She could finally get the rest she wanted. Her head hit the pillow and she slept the allotted time before going back to class. As she left the office, she bowed to the nurse and shut the door behind her. It felt off, and awkward, but she couldn't place a finger on why. At the next break, she wandered into the library to look for a new book to read, since after school she had promised to help with hanging the posters, she had to alter her plans a bit.

"Certainly, Nurse Hawthorne, we'll get right to it." Roman said grabbing his share of the flyers, a bunch of pins for the bulletin boards, and some tape for the walls; he headed out the door soon after, with or without the nurse's insistence. He sighed internally. I made it out! Now to wait until the day ends, finish hanging these posters as soon as possible, then take a look at those files!

Truthfully, he wanted to just dump the files and head straight home despite the school day, but that'd only raise suspicion. And he would rather not have the eyes of others on him until he could carefully study the charts and observe some of the students that were "changing". So he was going to act as normally as he could. Which included actually having his lunch. Roman's stomach was getting close to growling after all that tension. I'm betting Wallace already ate...maybe I'll swing into the club and chat with anyone there while I eat!

As he hung the first poster, he decided to finally take a look at the information he was told to hang on the school walls, studying the poster carefully.

Ardelia

You make it to the library and the small space was mostly empty when you were able to make your way to the library when you find some spare time in between classes, unless you spend your lunch in the library. In which case its dead empty except for a small few looking for solitude and Pamela who can normally be found behind the desk whenever there are not classes. Her usual air headed kindness means that most everyone leaves her to her own devices. She currently is sitting at the desk spinning in circles like a tornado while reading a book.  She seemed unaffected by the somewhat rapid spinning while she flipped through the pages of whatever novel she had. Her long hair trailing behind her. As you continue to catch her antics out of the corner of your eye you notice her hair color had it always been so white?

Regardless if you were looking for any type of book in particular she would be the one to ask. She spent even more time in the library then you or James.

Roman

At lunch you sit down with Will and the others they wave. William looks as disheveled and gaunt as always without Misha and Quentin around to make sure he occasionally ate and slept he would simply drop dead. He is currently looking over some hand scrawled notes rubbing his hands through his main. He seemed to be letting his hair grow out the last couple of weeks and on top of it being a knotted mes now has to keep it in a hair tie to keep it out of his face. Otherwise Misha looks as sharp and organized as ever as she and quentin are attempting to get food infront of your defacto leader.

"So how's it going roman?" asks Q as he finally gets a tray of food on top of the paper. He's young and at times reserved but once you get to know him his quick wit is what wins people over if given the chance.

Serena
You are in the library looking for books on music and better health and beauty after a work out. When you see the girl from the Museum and that incident with the football player. What was her name Ardel- something. She seems to be retailed to the crazy things that have been happening to you these last few weeks and she might know whats going on.

Brian
After resting for a little while you go through the day like normal a drone at the back of the classroom. Though no matter how hard you try girls continue to look your way and the teachers pull you in for questions. Sure your still that bad boy outsider but something about that inapproachable wall has fallen away. You have art class next to Richard from the Happiness club and his happy go lucky chatter keeps you more occupied. He seems to be completely blind to your aura and simply talks. If you want to ignore him you are really going to need to work at blocking him out.

Ardelia kept stealing curious glances a Pamela. Her hair struck her as odd, but not nearly as odd as the fact that she was able to read while spinning fast enough to make the average person lose their lunch. It is rude to interrupt someone who is reading, but her curiosity was getting the better of her. She also had one of her fliers that she had to hang around the school anyways, so maybe she could also just show that to Pamela as well.

Sheepishly, Ardelia approached the desk, as Pamela was still spinning round and round. "P-Pamela? May I ask how you're able to read like that? It looks like it would be impossible." She reached into her bag after speaking, and pulled out one of the flyers that she would be tasked with hanging up after school, and faced it towards Pamela, stretching her arms. "Oh, yeah! Nurse Hawthorne asked me to help her post these around school, but I figured I could show you now. We're having a school wide health exam, it seems like its something new they're starting this year, it seems like a good idea! Do you mind if I leave this one in the library? I know I'm in the club too, but you spend even more time here than me, so I don't want to bother you." She really liked Pamela, so she hoped she wasn't being a bother.

Though he was addressed, Roman can't help continuing to look at Will's hair, and it took him a couple seconds to respond. How did it get that long so quickly?

"I'm well, thank you. I have a question for you all, though, as researchers. Have you noticed people around here changing? I don't mean routine aging or anything, but extraordinary changes." Roman was playing it safe before telling what he just did during lunch. If no one else is noticing it, then it's best kept secret. But if it's noticeable to all, then these three could be extremely helpful in his research. While waiting for an answer, he takes out the lunch he'd prepared for himself, pulling out a turkey and cheese sandwich and biting into it.

Talk about one damn talkative kid... Brian thought to himself as Richard kept talking to him endlessly. What was the kid even talking about? He had started listening earlier, but quickly gave up when he realized Richard wouldn't stop. He had hoped that the other student would get the hint, but nope.

He sighed. People didn't normally bother him, and he wondered why in the world was this kid flapping his mouth like there was no tomorrow.

And what's up with all the girls staring at me all the time! He rolled his eyes. They want to fight or something?

He thought about the cooking club then too - more interested was he in that, then regular school. But to no avail, he couldn't block out the incessant chatter. Finally Brian gave up. Breathing in deeply, he'll at least try to listen to what the guy was saying.

You know, perhaps this other kid isn't so bad, right?

Pamela takes a moment to come to a stop before smiling broadly and putting her book down, "Hiya Dela!" she says loudly enough to get  shushed by one of the other students reading at one of the few small study tables. She covered her mouth giggling she gave you a wink and a to follow her back into the storage room so that you could talk more freely. As she walked you could tell that her spinning had in fact affected her more then she let on as she was shaky getting there, "Sorry about that its easier to read like that then it is to walk." She smiled once you were both free of the library proper she sat  on a boxes of books. "If you have something specific that you can focus on that moves with you while you are spinning you can block out the spinning but as soon as you stop everything catches up with you." She took a moment to recenter herself before continuing.

"If you want to put something on the cork board next to the registration desk I don't see a problem with it." She took the flyer from you and glanced it over, "Besides, The head of the student council asked if they could use our board for upcoming events, job stuff things like that for the students so this should be the kind of stuff they meant right? They also asked if the library could have an anonymous comments box on how to make the school better. Apparently the facualty has gotten alot of money in recently from some benefactor so they want to try getting everyone involved in making this place better."

"Ah, no, I'm probably just imagining it. After my brother moved in with me out of the blue, I've been a little paranoid about strange actions." Roman managed to give a half truth reason for his alarm, and instead changed the subject. "So what is it that you're straining yourself with over there, William? You seem to be wracking your brain pretty hard." This gave him a chance to get one more good look at William's changes. Was it just his imagination that his hair had grown faster than normal. Roman didn't know him well enough to know if this length of abnormal for him. And it sounded like no one would notice. There has to be some explanation for these changes and memory faults, like a cultural shift! He was still having difficulty simply believing in this supernatural phenomena.

Ardelia looked at Pamela, with a puzzled look. "I'll take your word for it, if I tried to spin, I'd probably just end up face down on the floor." Ardelia giggled a bit. Pamela said it was alright to put something on the cork board, which would be quite beneficial. "Alright, Thanks, Pamela." Ardelia smiled, while thinking for a few moments. "Did you do something with your hair?  It feels like its different, but I can't quite put my finger on why..." She wasn't sure if it was wise to ask Pamela about it, but they had relative privacy, and the idea of not asking at all was unsettling. Ardelia nervously waited for a response, with a smile on her face.

Maybe that's what you are noticing?"  Her smile was infectious and calmed your nerves right down as if she was an older sister.  She got up then feeling much more stable on her feet, putting a hand on your shoulder as she went to the door. "Do you need help with anything else Del? You know James or I are here if you need help with anything just ask." She then moved to return to the front desk only taking a moment to look back,

"Trying to choose some projects to begin with as goals for the club as a whole," he said pushing a paper filled with haphazard notes and equations. It looked like chicken scratch and would take a moment of reading to make heads or tails of what he had written or what he had written on. "The book that the school gave us had so much stuff that I thought a goal would be helpful in sharpening our efforts to one end. The problem is I just cannot pick one of my ideas versus the others.  What do you think of these maybe you could over something that would stand out!" "I don't think there's anything else I can think of at the moment Pamela, thanks for the help though. It's appreciated!"

Pamela returned to the front desk, but Ardelia lingered in the back for a few moments. "Of course I'm going to sit through class. We're at school." Ardelia was terse with her spirit companion, and briskly walked out of the library to make it to class on time.

Sam sighed a little as he set his pen down on the desk. For some reason his mind couldn't focus on anything art related today. Maybe climbing down the tree took more out of him than he previously thought. Pulling his gaze from the window next to him, he stared at his mess of a paper, emotionless and still. He was tasked with drawing something about an animal that both inspired and scared him, all while in some unique setting he could think of. He would say it took him better part of the class to even begin jotting anything down, his brain refusing to cooperate with him at the moment. The image of a shark came to mind, he found them interesting, but he guessed equally terrifying at the same time. He couldn't imagine what he would do if he was ever face to face with one. With pen and markers, he setup a quick sketch of a diver in the deep sea, surrounded by debris of something old, a large shadowy shark dwarfing the diver in comparison. Sam sighed again as his attention shifted outside again. He began to wonder if he forgot to do something in one of his games he was playing at home?

"A project, huh...? I think I may have something to offer, if you're not sold on any of these ideas." Roman said as he looked over the sheet, admitting that none of them stood out from the others. He wanders over to the nearby lab computer and opens up the flash drive on hand, not minding the eyebrow-raising faces following his movements. Truth be told, he wanted to look into the weapons information that was there, due to the increase of danger lately. But showing them he had that kind of data could end poorly. So he opened the robotics file for display. "What about looking into this robotics information? I stumbled across it randomly and it seems fairly interesting. Possibly even high end." That was as honest as he could be about the information, since he actually found the original drive here. What led him to if was strange, and he didn't want to admit to it as magical. Magic is just phenomena unexplained by science, after all. But I don't have the data or drive to research that butterfly. I'd rather focus on what it led to.

"Though if you prefer what you've written, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them. It may help in deciding."

Ardelia
You manage to make it through the day rather uneventfully, except for the interjections from your new spirit friend especially when he felt you did something wrong. Which was more often then you would probably have liked. He made you lose focus a few times but you managed to keep it under control for the most part

Roman
The other members of the club take a look at the information you give them and they seem enamored with the amount of data. They chat wih you the rest of the lunch in the computer lab without much worry. The only problem is trying to keep yourself and everyone else on track. As they go through the different files they get more and more excited and somewhat irrational. To get them on the same page you will need to force them to pick something. Otherwise the rest of the day went pretty much uneventfully if not a bit boring. You are able to meet the others in front of the nurses office.

Sam
Sam you make it through the day like you normally do, however you do realize that you forgot a special event for your game and won't be able to make it home in time for the start of the event. Taking over a corner of the computer lab after school you end up spending more time then you planned and the sky is already orange by the time that you make it out. However, as you move through the halls to leave you pass right by the nurse's office that you climbed out of earlier. And there again stood the group of students who roped you in before. Looking like the devils they are looking to make you do more work
Brian
You meet up later at the nurses office still somewhat stressed out but you can manage for now as you grab some of the flyers that Ardelia had for everyone,
General
It seems like it will take a few hours to cover the whole school with the flyers. But dependinging on what you all do you might be able to make it work before things get to late.

This is a group test where you can use any skill you please. Just make sure to role play the skill. Ardelia needs a minimum of two success because she is small. Throndir and Mumble can use 2d6 to help since they don't have a sheet yet. No worries and if i forgot to link you in the pm just let me know. For each success things go smoother.

The school day was over, and it was time for Ardelia to make good on her promise to Nurse Hawthorne. She gathered with the others and divided the fliers so that each person would have some to go hang up. "I'll start heading to some of the club rooms, and see if they'll let us post them around there." With that, she left the room and went around talking to all sorts of students. She gave each a pretty similar speech. "Hi, Nurse Hawthorne asked us to help distribute these fliers. We're having a school wide health exam, do you mind if I put one of these in your clubroom?" In each case, she would reach out with a flier in hand and a smile.

Rolling persuasion to try to get people to let me post the fliers in each room.

Roman understood well that this information was exciting, but they weren't going to get anywhere with everyone fantasizing about it and not focusing. "Everyone, please! Calm yourselves. This is exciting, yes, but we need to pick something so we can start!" Roman kept trying to get their attention on the matter. Worst case, he would just choose a topic at random from the data provided. That would be fair, right?

After classes, Roman was left with hanging posters. He wasn't well acquainted with anyone that would help, and didn't have any equipment to speed it along, so it seemed that he was somewhat out of luck. But then he recalled seeing mention in research he did on the school that there were hidden and lesser-used passages for getting around the school faster. He hoped that these paths would lead to the bulletin boards necessary to save himself some time. With posters in hand, Roman was off!

"So... we just put these up? Anywhere?"

QuoteHe'll take a stack of the flyers, go to the nearest bulletin board, and simply tack on the flyers on the board. He'll use any available tack to put up the flyers. If there aren't any, he'll just pick a random flyer on the board, and replace it with the ones he's carrying.
