#1
Thunder resounded from the distance. It seemed the storm was approaching faster than you had first anticipated. Fortunately, after leaving the forest, which provided only partial cover from the elements, you spotted an open, dirt road trailing around a barn, which could possibly provide complete cover from the storm. The choice was obvious-the dirt road.

After all, who needs shelter? Let the storm come, let the rains pour down and the lightning strike. REAL men don't fear the weather.

The sounds of nature sprang to life around you as you hurried through the path. Then inspiration struck. The strange cord wrapped around your arms never annoyed you as greatly as it did now, as it hindered you in your act of turning your money pouch into a makeshift hat. Those few moments of hardship felt like days, however, as you struggled to bring your plan to fruition.

You ignored everything, besides running along the path, as you worked, whether it was the scent of rain, the rustle of grass, or the nearby growling of some kind of animal. It took awhile, but eventually you momentarily stopped your journey, in order to proudly raise your creation atop your head.

Success.

Continue along the road

The rain is coming down much more quickly and now your are thoroughly soaked from head to toe, however strangely enough the "hat" you wear appears unaffected. Trotting merrily down the road you begin to hum a tune, that you've never heard before, the muddy road under your feet seems to react percussively with each step. You see something shiny in one of the many mud puddles you are happily splashing in. You scratch your head with your bound hands, knocking your new "hat" off your head and onto the muddy ground.

Reaching down to look at the object partially obscured by the mud you pick it up and wipe it clean it looks   a tiny silver falcon wings outstretched prepared to strike. Turning it over in your hands you are mesmerized by the piece that you assume was part of a pendent or arm band. You were so a word in your new find that you don't notice the tingling of magic running through your body. Then a thought struck you as if out of no where to press the object across your upper forearm the wing span of the piece seemed more then enough to rap around your arm. The desire to do so is getting harder and harder to resist.

Lance

Immediately, you grabbed the arm holding the falcon-object-thingy with your free hand, in an attempt to stop yourself from wrapping the thing around you. A deadlock was soon established with neither side giving nor receiving ground. This went on for some time, however several minutes in, a strange tingling sensation exploded across your entire body and you felt the object get closer to reaching its goal.

You tried resisting with all your might then, but you were losing the conflict. It was just too hard, the desire too overwhelming...

...so you wrapped the object around your hat.

With a triumphant smile, you walked on, shifting your new and improved hat into a more comfortable position. But your victory was short-lived. Even now, you began to feel the first pangs of hunger fighting against you.

I... Search around for food

Your stomach now grumbles loudly as you continue to march with a wide brimmed smile on your face, you listen to the grumbling and begin to react to it as if you were a musician tuning a fine instrument. You decide that play time is over with and now look hungrily for something anything to munch on. The stick poking out of the mud draws your attention first, you contemplate eating a whole stick for a moment, but that's when you spot a large pine cone looking menacingly at you.

"Hello there", the coniferous pine tree dropping greeted you.
"Wha' ya gut there on ya head?"

3. poke the Falcon hat with the stick

"Oh this?" you say poking at your hat impromptu hat with the stick you found. " I found it."
The pine cone squints skeptically at you for a second, but seems to accept the answer. It takes another look at you up and down before saying, "For a human who dresses so strange you are rather boringly average aren't you." To you that sounds a bit to much like an insult for your liking but before you can think of something to say in return you can feel your stomach cramp from hunger and it lets out a loud sound. Your not sure how much longer without finding something to eat. You think to yourself that you're so hungry that you think you'll eat the first edible thing you see without a second thought.
As if on cue the pine cone says, "I have something that you can eat if you want some." You close your mouth and nod stupidly you really need something to eat. You follow him blindly not noticing that a similar force to that of the silvr falcon was actually urging you along due to your hunger. You soon find your self in a glen with a rather large fruit tree in the middle producing a strange fruit. The energy urges you on and you end up taking a bit and swallowing. You hear a strange ghostly laughter before feeling a strange tingling all over.
