This is a simplified character creation sheet, focusing mainly on roleplaying aspects. Italics will dictate what you should place in each field. I've disabled BBC code for it below, so you can easily just copy and paste this into a new thread and edit it.

Before you start. Like before you even start reading the rest of this. Think of a cool idea you'd like to play as in Pok?mon. Then try building a character to match that. If you start looking at the sheet below and get ideas for characters that might be more interesting, go for it! But at least now you have something to work off with and build.

No really, think of a character idea first. You may want to go read the setting if you can't think of anything.

Please use the character sheet after the line break below. But for those who either just want to jump in or find the character sheet below has way too many options or you're simply not comfortable with choosing:
Please go ahead and post a new thread, and include the bare minimum:

  • Name of character (nitpick, but include last name too)
  • Include a picture of your character
  • Starting Pok?mon and name of that Pok?mon (from list below)
  • Goals, motivations, and aspirations (this is important, its a large way of getting exp)
  • If you wanted, include a picture of the Pok?mon too
  • Class (Eg, a breeder, ace trainer, nurse, fisherman, fashionista, <insert any other NPC you find in Pok?mon games>)
  • Physical description (looks, body build, body type)
  • Mental description (intelligence, reasoning, formal education, academic standing/grade in school)
  • Hobbies and Skills
  • Short biography/background
  • Description of personality
  • List of wishlist Pok?mon
  • Any other information you would like to add
Now I know that's a lot to ask for, so you could still just write up a paragraph about your character. Be sure to include goals, motications, and aspirations. Everything else one of the GMs can generate a character sheet for you, and you're free to change it later on.

If you are already familiar with the PTU 1.04 ruleset. Use a character sheet online, simply save it to your own, then send me Edit permissions at: [email protected]

Notes to consider

  • I would prefer no supernatural classes. However, I'm completely open for your character gaining them later on as the story progresses.
  • Core book only. Other supplemental books will be considered as the RP goes on.
  • I will be verifying each sheet, and there will likely be changes done so everything is balanced and correct with the prerequisities. I will be letting you know though, and work with you to get it work.
  • Either way I will be modifying the sheets to include statistics/information.
  • If you need more information or have a question, be sure to let me know!
  • If you don't feel like letting me know, just pick whatever sounds cool. No really, do it!
  • Once we get further into the game, there will be ways to respec your character, so don't worry! Make your character as you imagine, rather than what you think will be 'strong'. Put a priority on roleplaying.
  • If you're the type to really get into it. Here's the ruleset.
  • Once we've finalized your character sheet. I'll go in and convert it to a google docs and share the doc with you (if you haven't created one yourself).
